NEW FRONTIER LAWN & TREE CARE

Beware working with Kenneth Matthies of New Frontier Lawn Care. No contracts nothing in writing, but they will claim they sent you a notice a couple months prior. Well if you don't return the notice telling them you don't want them to service your yard they come do it anyway and then send you a bill. We never received a notice from them. As a matter to fact we sent notice to them 2 months prior to the service telling them we were moving and would contact them when we moved into our new home. He claims he didn't get our letter and I contend we never got his letter. So in keeping with true customer service, what they should have done was apologized for the mistake, cancelled the bill and said they look forward to working on our new home. Kenneth Matthies got on the phone and cursed at my wife, and myself telling me he would battle us forever to get his 88.85. He had dealt with this stuff before and he knows how to collect. Of course they do. It's winter so they are slow. He sends out trucks to spray unsolicited homeowners, bills them and if 30% of them actually pay then look at the great scam he has . He needed the money so I paid him but have waned off 2 other customers of his, and am going for many more. You may have good luck with him, We didn't. He gives you a lot of smoke and mirror stories about how you are not bound by a contract but if you dont notify him to stop they keep on coming. We did use him last summer but did not ask for them to come anymore. They took it upon themselves to start treating the yard again.

I've been happy with them. They seem to do a good job and they don't bother me, I don't bother them, and things go pretty well especially when we get a lot of rains. I pay on an annual basis. Their pricing is fine. I've been using them for several years and I actually haven't compared their price to others. I just resign up every year. They call me and tell me when they're coming and I don't care when they do that. I almost never ever talk to the people. They come out and do their thing and go away and leave me a notice.

The "technicians" run so fast through the lawn, there is no way they could possibly notice what, if any, problems your lawn may have. When we called and complained about the aeration and over seeding, a representative came to the house to look it over. They didn't knock on the front door to introduce themselves or even leave a note on the door about what they had found. My wife called to complain about that and to find out what they had found. The person on the phone said that he was the one that came out to our house and he is the owner. My wife said that he wasn't very professional in not introducing himself when he was at the house. His response was "that he didn't have time to speak to every customer." My wife's response was that he needn't worry about that, since , as of that day, he had one fewer customer to bother him. No response and no apology. Overall, a very poor provider with horrible customer service.

I've used this company for 20 years. They are very responsive and we just really like them.

I have used them for several applications. They are very reliable, very professional, and never had a problem with their service. They are average on price. They come out four times per year.
