From the beginning, Katrina (sales rep) came out to the house. She was very pleasant and professional. I showed her the areas that were to be cleaned, and was pleased with the estimate for all work to be done every two weeks. The first few cleanings were great, loved the smell of the products that the cleaner used. At some point, two cleaners came out, but the one employee who was given our upstairs full bathrooms to do, both times that she cleaned those bathrooms, they looked as though they were hardly touched. I emailed the branch manager, and although they offered to have someone come out and redo those bathrooms the very next day, I just told them that I just wanted to make sure that those areas are given a good thorough cleaning next time they came out. Well, since then, it was just our one cleaning lady, and for the most part she was doing pretty good, but I noticed that from one cleaning to the next, there were things left undone. I emailed once again with a complaint, and for the next cleaning, things were given that extra attention. The last cleaning done was a major disappointment. I came home from being out of town, and noticed that the vacuuming looked rushed, and there were areas not even vacuumed. My master bathroom was not cleaned at all. I called and spoke with George, who was very nice, and offered to have someone come out the next day to take care of cleaning the bathroom that wasn't done, but after I spoke with him and realized later in the evening that there were other things not done, I decided to email George and really express my disappointment and that I was paying for services that I felt were not up to my expectations. I used this cleaning service because I have an illness that makes it hard for me to keep up with all my house chores, so I really depend on this work being done. I had signed a one year contract, but George allowed me to terminate the contract without having to pay the penalty. I will say that I had a cleaning lady at one time that did such a good great job, and she set the bar so high with her quality work. Unfortunately, she retired.

Bi-weekly house cleaning... they came regularly for over three years, but in the last few months of services, the quality of the services kept getting worse. Finally, we just decided that it wasn't worth the hassle to complain and continue to get poor quality services. There was one group of two that was excellent... the others just didn't do half as much... or as good of a job.

I pay $102 per cleaning and their price is the same each time they come. I actually have to use them until my contract is up until October. I will be switching to a different company after that. They are almost too fast and not very thorough. I don't have any trouble getting them to come but I have had other services that are much better. Some of the people that clean are better than others.

They come every two weeks. My home looks and smells clean when I return. It is wonderful.

The first time they were here to clean she said they would be here from 3 to possibly 6 hrs. . They were here 2 hrs. I believe and some of the most minor things weren't done. We've had them a couple times now and it always seems hurried. I've had to finish vacuuming under sofa and chairs and finish dusting the footboard on our bed. Like I said, I think it's just too hurried. They do a good job on the bathrooms and the wood floors. They were very accommodating when I called to get an estimate. Someone came that day and started cleaning the following week. I wish I wouldn't have had to sign a contract before their services.

My husband and I have been renovating our home for the last couple years and we were finally at a place where the remodeling dust has settled. We decided to have a company clean the house as a reward for our hard work. From the first call to Merry Maids to get an quote, I was greeted with a friendly voice (George) and service-oriented dedication. Helen, a supervisor, came out the next day (now that's good service!) to view the house and get the details for the quote. Helen was very friendly and professional. She took lots of notes on the particular features of my home and made special notes as to my preferences. She was very thorough! I especially liked that she was able to give me a quote on the spot because she had the software program on her smart phone...so cool! Merry Maids was able to get me on the schedule right away. Heather showed up promptly and did an excellent job of cleaning the house in about 4 1/2 hours. I was at home most of the time as she worked but hardly knew she was there as she worked so quietly. I initiated a bit of conversation throughout the time, but I appreciated that Heather allowed me to get my office work accomplished since I do volunteer work at home. Occassionally she would clarify my preference of how she should clean a particular item...gotta like that! And Heather was very sweet to make the effort to comfort my shy 14 yr old chihuahua. Heather rocks it!! I love the way my house feels so clean and the fact that the cleaning products Heather used were low-odor and did not have the "chemical" smell. Overall, I was just pleased as punch at the whole process! I can now have a clean home and enjoy the renovations! Deb in Wichita KS p.s. Saleslady came out to see entire house firsthand and did a walk-through of each room taking detailed notes. Before she left, she described in detail what services and detailing their cleaning crew would perform which I agreed to. She suggested that 2 crews come out due to the size and complexity of the house, plus a separate dedicated person to take care of the windows. She thought the job would take half a day with 2 crews. On cleaning day, 2 young females and 1 young man showed up. I was told that the person to do the windows wasn't available and that the young man would be doing the windows and helping with the general cleaning. There was no ladder tall enough to clean either the 2nd story windows or the ceiling fan and ledges in the 2-story living room. The office had to be called and another supervisor-type person showed up with a ladder. The 3-person crew whizzed through the house doing very little detail as was promised and was "done" by mid-afternoon. I wasn't happy from the beginning and my saleslady was called. She did show up in the afternoon, but at that time I was so disgusted and disappointed that I just wanted them to leave.
