he wasn't on Angie's list. I'd called several deck builders who were and, of those 3, only 1 called back and then missed his follow up appointment. Called Kurt's company based on yellow page ad emphasizing composite materials. Set appointment. He was prompt. Brought samples. Took measurements. Sent me quote and e-mail schematics within 2 days. Hired him. He started on time about 2 weeks later. Tore out and removed old deck and installed new deck in 1 1/2 days. Absolutely beautiful. Great workmanship. Highest recommendation. This guy wants your business and wants referrals and does an absolutely great job.

Returned call promptly. Built new stair railing. Replaced railings and primed.

He contracted it out and did everything fine. He was an all around contractor. He did a really great job. I never had any problem. I told him what I wanted; he came and showed me what he was going to do. He asked my opinion if I wanted anything else. He also asked me what kind of quality I wanted. He took care of everything for me. I really did not have to do anything. I did not have to supervise him. He was a busy guy. He always tells me that he cannot get to me, he will make it next week and he always does. He would give me three or four estimates. He was a little expensive but did a good job and had the ability to do what I wanted to be done. He was always nicely dressed. He had truck which was always clean. Anybody who comes out with him was also fine, all licensed and certified.
