Trane Comfort Specialist™ Status
Not all dealers are the same. Independent Trane Comfort Specialist dealers are offered training to help better meet the clean air needs of your family. Independent dealers who wear the Trane Comfort Specialist badge are of the highest standing and are committed to excellence in every aspect of their business, from installation and service to customer satisfaction and employee training. They must qualify for this status on a yearly basis by meeting Trane's high standards for customer satisfaction and continuing education.
Purchase Price is Only Part of the Picture
Replacing your home's heating and air conditioning system is a major decision—one you don't want to make based strictly on initial purchase price. It's equally important to assess how much your system is going to cost to operate and maintain year in and year out.
Financing, Helping You Get the Best Possible System for Your Money
If you don't have ample cash or credit available at the time of purchase, your Trane dealer has some payment options that can help. Once financing is out of the way, your decision will be a lot easier.
Installation:
Whether you are building a new home or upgrading to a new more efficient heating and cooling system for your present home, Trane has a capacity, efficiency and price that will suit your needs. Our systems include cooling, heating, air cleaners, thermostats and accessories.
Maintenance:
Before the cooling or heating seasons it is a good idea to have your system checked out by one of our maintenance experts. Small problems can become bigger problems as your system continues to run. Just as your automobile needs regular maintenance so does your air conditioning system. You should clean or replace your air filters each month.
Repair:
Should you require service on your current home comfort system our skilled technicians have the know-how to diagnose, adjust or repair your system so that you are comfortable all year long. For safety and warranty reasons you should never attempt to service your unit yourself.
Highest Standards of Efficiency:
With a high efficiency Trane system, rising utility bills and energy costs won’t be as much of a burden. That’s because our heating and cooling systems call on fewer resources when in use, so you save more money. In January 2006, the Department of Energy increased the minimum SEER from 10 to 13. SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) indicates the efficiencies of different types of equipment. The majority of systems installed before 1992 are 10 SEER or below and will continue to drop in efficiency as the systems age. Not only do Trane systems meet the government standard; in many cases, they exceed it.
Higher Efficiency Equals Lower Costs
Higher efficiency systems will reduce your energy usage, which can result in lower energy bills, month after month. Many of Trane's high efficiency products meet the ENERGY STAR® guidelines for energy efficiency, which will ensure that you will receive years of trouble-free operation and energy savings. ENERGY STAR is a voluntary awareness, communications and marketing campaign developed by the U.S. Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in 1992 to promote energy efficiency.
