Kyle Anderson was great when he came to house, he was professional and answered all my questions! When I had additional questions he called me back promptly and we are so thrilled that they fit us in and worked with our schedule! Kevin Rhodes is the installer who came out and he was wonderful! He was fast and proficient and seemed VERY skilled. I would recommend BOTH Jabara's and Kevin Rhodes to anyone.

They did a fantastic job and worked to get my Entertainment Center put back together. The only thing is that they didn't clean up very well in areas where pieces of carpet or dust or debri might have littered other parts of the house or yard.

They did a great job. I don't remember the cost but it was below my expectation. Responsiveness was an A plus. They did a great job and I would go back to them in an instant if I needed more carpet. It didn't take any time to do two floors.

They were fine. I don't know if everything was done exceptionally well were it stood out, but it was okay. It's hard to find people that are laying carpet that are going to be on time. They are going to look professional and those are the kind of things that I like to see, that someone that comes into your house to do work is someone you would want in your home.

They actually did two house for us. the rental property they did fine we had some issues with our main house, eventually they came back and eventually got it fixed after two or three times, overall I think I would use him again. They lay carpet. I feel like he was average. Some of them were rough, you know they are not people you would want your daughter to go out with.

We have never been disappointed by Jabara's. The customer service reps are all knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Their prices are better than most area providers on many items, but we especially think of them when it comes to carpeting and pad. They have a good selection in a wide variety of sizes, colors and naps. They have enough in stock to provide for an entire house, and they even have better prices on remnants for small rooms such as a 6 x 8 bathroom.
Description of Work: We purchased carpet and pad from this company but have purchased a number of items there over the past 25 years including cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, etc. They also provided us with a list of their independent contractors from the area to do the actual carpet installation.

Our salesman was very helpful and we ended up a shorter shag upstairs and down, but different colors. The stairs were a type of berber to handle the wear and tear of foot traffic.. We are really pleased with our selections. The installation was done very well and we have no qualms with it. The installer, on the other hand was another story. We moved a lot of our own furniture and he didn't always show up when he said he would. When I approached him about it, he was very defensive and jumped my case. We paid extra to have him move a dresser and piano. He broke a middle support piece off under the dresser and didn't want to claim responsibility. When I asked about both front legs being off the piano, he said he assumed we knew they came off. I was a bit surprised he was handling other people's furniture and making assumptions. While his carpent installation work was good, his personality and attitude was not very customer friendly. With these issues, my salesman, J. L. Fox had my back all the way. My Ratings are for Jabara's and not this particular installer.

Flawed but mighty good. Hired Jabara's to recarpet sitting room after another provider did an unsatisfactory job. Jabara had previously redone our master suite with superb results; I specified "exactly the same carpet and pad" but chose a different color; emerald green versus the deep blue-green in the master suite. (I know these are not stylish colors. My house, OK?) We put the emerald green color sample on the sales guy's desk and watched as he noted its name and color code. Then I signed the work order, admittedly without inspecting it, and awaited a nicely renewed room. During installation the new carpet seemed more blue-tinted than I remembered. I put it off to the vagaries of human color perception and the very warm ambient light in the room. Then when it was all done I tossed some leftover scraps in a nook next to the master suite. Holy cow! The new carpet really is blue! It's the same color as the bedroom's carpet!! OMG, as the kids say these days. I fetched the color sample from Jabara's. Hypothesis confirmed: WRONG COLOR CARPET. Oh, my. I showed this to the installers, who called Jabara's. The upshot is that the salesman, recalling my statement "exactly the same carpet" but not the new choice of color, put the old carpet's color on the new work order. Just one of those moments of humanity. Jabara's mulled this over a few days, then proposed to replace the carpet in the correct color at their expense but asked me to pay for the installation, since I didn't catch their error until after the installation was complete. I politely disagreed, feeling that the salient phrase here is less "I didn't catch" than "their error." I am not employed as their quality control agent, and I think I am entitled to an expectation of an error-free product delivery. In other words, I bought their quality control as part of the deal and was not negligent in passively expecting it without providing oversight. After a little more discussion wherein it became clear Jabara's wasn't going to budge, I decided the money for the installation (I think $135) wasn't that huge, taken in perspective, and agreed to the deal. Jabara's ate the cost of all that lovely 75-oz Mohawk. Jabara's took over three weeks to get the new carpet, but once it was in installed it the next day and did a good job. The installers did neglect to vacuum the room after installation, leaving the floor covered with thousands of yarn snippets. Not a big deal, I have a perfectly good vacuum cleaner myself, but below the standard I expected and a detraction from my first impression of the recarpeted room. That quibble aside, the installation itself is very good. So, why the "B?" I've had a lot of various courses in customer service and quality and such, and have owned small business of varying successful. There's always an exercise about "if a good provider screws up but tries hard to fix it right, have you received good service?" Hard to answer in general. It comes down to (a) what was the degree of negligence or ineptitude, (b) how severe was the error within the perspective of the service and outcome, (c) how happy am I with the final outcome compared to the expected outcome, and (d) did the provider's response/recovery rise to a level of effort appropriate to the problem? In this case the final outcome is not as good as it would have been without the error and recovery: I'm down $135 and a day at work, plus frustration and annoyance. So Jabara's gets a "B" on this one despite the fine quality of the carpet and perfectly competent installation.

A fine job professionally attended to in every respect. Store staff did a great job of helping me find carpet that was exactly what I had in mind. (This was a challenge, since I don't know carpet terminology.) Did an estimate on the spot that surprised me, about 75% or what I expected. Carpet was ordered and on hand timely, and installation scheduled promptly. Work crew was on time and made short work of the job. Installation is excellent. I did have to vacuum after the crew cleaned up, there were a few threads of yarn left lying about. Big deal. Project was completed within a pocket change of original rough estimate. Carpet is lovely. Nice job!

They are well known. I have problems with the floor starting to come apart. I found out through a couple of other sources that there were a couple of bad batches in this company that made this floor. I’ve had to go round and round with them and they sent a couple of people out here to inspect and all that stuff. They refused to fix it and they started blaming and saying it was the installation problem. I bought the floor from them, but I had it installed by somebody else. The people that installed it were fine. I personally know them. The first person that they sent out here was their installation manager. He even admitted that the floor was bad and he said there would be replacement material, but I would have to pay to have it reinstalled. When I went to talk to the actual manager of the store, he said he didn’t know what I was talking about. He said that it was not a problem with the material and they had sold thousands of square foot of this material and they’d had no problems. I ended up filing a complaint with the company that actually made the floor. They sent this guy out here that inspected and he tried to blame it on the installation company. I’m still having mails saying that they both are refusing to take care of it. The price was good which is why I went with them. They had a sale at the time. This particular company has become pretty popular and there are a lot of people buying from this company. It took quite a while to get back to me. They were not responsive. After they sent out an inspector guy out here, I was supposed to find out from them in 2 weeks. It probably took a month before I finally got a letter from them. They were giving excuses. I would never step my foot in that store again. I’ve spent quite a bit of money with them. I’ve bought carpets, rugs and stuffs like that. I’m pretty unhappy with the situation.
