They have been hired to remove the tree.

The Huff’s crew did a very nice job and completed it for the bid given. It was a large tree . They removed it and ground the stump and I never had to go outside to speak with them. Finally, they cleaned up and hauled away the debris. This was the 2nd job they have done for us. I highly recommend their service.

Huff's Tree Service was contracted to remove 2 massive trees along with a medium one. Crew worked a full day and did a great job! Crew was friendly, professional and they left things looking neat and tidy. Haul away of large pieces was completed the same day, and stumps ground beyond our expectations within a reasonable time frame. Crew was courteous to our neighbors'properties as well. Will definitely consider them for future needs, and highly recommend them to anyone needing a professional tree service.

This company is very bad about returning calls and providing information. It took them months to get the work done on my tree. It should be known I had to ask them to hold off on the job for a couple of weeks, but it still took months for them to trim my tree. Time after time they promised to keep me informed about when they could schedule my work, yet they never did. Then, after the work was done, the crew vanished without giving me a bill or letting me know when to expect one. Several weeks later I got a nasty PAST DUE notice in the mail with a hand-written note saying the bill had been emailed to me. I checked my inbox and spam folders and there was no bill. I suggest you find another tree service since Huff’s is not worth your time and trouble. This company has no concept of customer service.

Excellent. There were six or seven workers and they were ALL working at the same time. Nobody was just standing around.

On 9/5/2019, Mike Huffman with Huff’s Tree Service was out to our home to give us an estimate to remove from our backyard a birch tree, grind up the stump and haul off the stump grindings. We signed a contract with Mike for the job to be completed in January/February 2020. Mike informed us that on any job that he estimates, he is actually on the job site when the work is performed. On 2/7/2020, employees from Huff’s Tree Service were out to complete the job but Mike was not on the job site. Mike’s crew did a great job on cutting down the tree. However, when they were hauling the branches out through the side yard, the branches were too wide to fit between the house and the wood fence causing damage to the garage door jamb and casing and damage to the 6’9” double wide metal gate. When Mr. Tibbits brought this to an employee’s attention, Mr. Tibbits was asked by the employee to go back into the house because he was slowing them down. Mr. Tibbits let the employee know that he was bringing to their attention that they were damaging our home. Rather than cut down the branches to prevent further damage, they continued work in the same manner. When the job was completed, we were advised by one of the employees that he was the job foreman. We let the foreman know about the encounter with the employee and that the stump area was high and not ground level. We looked over the stump area with the foreman. The foreman informed us that he thought an AT&T flag was in an area on one side of the stump so they really did not want to dig out farther on that side. We let him know that the technician with USIC had just been out that morning and the technician informed us that the area had been cleared for AT&T and Evergy. We let the foreman know that we would take a shovel to the area the next day and if we could not dig because of any large roots, we would call them. We called Mike Huffman and advised him of the problems that we had with the job being completed. Mike did not offer an apology for the damage to the house and gate, the employee’s rude behavior, or him not being on the job site. On 2/82020, we sent Mike Huffman pictures of two areas where we had tried to dig but were unable to because of the tree trunk and large roots and asked that we get on the schedule to have his equipment back out to our home. On 2/10/2020, we contacted USIC and talked again to the technician and verified that he had marked the area clear for digging. Mike Huffman was out at our home in the afternoon with the grinder and completed the stump and root removal.

Dealt with Mike, the owner. He was courteous and professional. His office called to set up the date and they appeared on time and worked quite efficiently. Chas was the person in the tree cutting the limbs. He was very safe in his work to secure himself to the limbs as he was removing them from the tree above him. There were power lines that they miraculously missed. Everything fell in my yard, except for about 3-4 outer limbs. They were here about 7 hours to remove a 100-ft pecan tree. In the afternoon, they brought in a lift to assist (it was at another job for the morning). With the noise of the saws, they used hand signals to communicate with one another. I'll miss the shade, but not the seeds in the spring or the missiles of pecans dropping on my roof each fall. They cleaned up the yard when they were finished. They had to take down a fence to get the limbs and equipment into the back yard. When they went to lunch, they put the fence back, so I could let out the dogs. I could not have asked for a more friendly and safety conscious group of workers. I had hired them to prune the same tree they had to take down, so I will definitely hire them again if needed. They also gave me some advice on what tree I might wish to plant and the time to plant it for the best results.

They were methodical and efficient in how they approached the removal of this large tree. They were safety conscience and took their time to access their process. They took time to clean up the debris left in our yard and neighboring yards. Very nice and polite crew. Would definitely hire them again and recommend them highly.

The crew was responsive and polite. My wife actually enjoyed watching them work.

Out at the host within a few days. Fast work, great cleanup.

Huff's Tree Service said they were scheduled six weeks out but would try to work us in. Within a few hours we had an estimate on the job. They worked us into their schedule and did the job about three days later rather than six weeks later. The limbs were taken care of, branches were picked up, leaves were raked and disposed of and even our driveway was swept. We couldn't have asked for a better resolution to our emergency.

I was very pleased with them. They did what they said they would do, and they cleaned up afterwards, and I was pleased with it. There is nothing they could do different. They did fine.

Mike from the company came by for the free estimate on May 11. Upon hearing the cost was going to be much lower than anticipated for much more work than expected, I submitted my signed work order sheet via email. The response after that was a bit slow or not happening for a bit (I assumed due to their busy schedule with pending sketchy weather), but the whole crew of six (I think) showed up on May 26, with a phone call notifying they were coming in the morning of. A bit surprised but quite happy to have work done, I went ahead and took that afternoon off, and saw them take down close to a dozen trees and trim a couple more. Very satisfied, I will definitely call them next time needs arise...

In communicating with the office and getting the quote, everyone was very responsive, timely, and professional. We changed our plan from a tree removal to a tree trim literally the day before they were scheduled, and still they were accommodating, coming out that same day to re-assess the job. All the workers were polite, and did a great job of cleaning up, raking up what was left after the larger branches were removed. They even added a few logs to my woodpile. At our request they left the mulch behind for our yard. The trees were thinned to allow for more light in the yard, and all look good. They completely removed another tree, and at my request ground the stump out completely so that another tree could be planted on the same site. Excellent customer service and work-we would definitely hire them again!

Went very well. Huff's showed up promptly and had the tree removed within a few hours. Came back a few days later to grind the stump. I had a fence underneath the tree which they were careful to not damage in the process of taking the tree down.

Great! They came when I wasn't home. They cleaned up the yard as well.

Excellent work and clean up was complete with chipper here so only chips hauled away. The cost was below another estimate by a company that did not have the equipment needed to do a good job. The only problem was it took several months for the job to be done but there was no hurry from my standpoint. I only wondered if they would return and do the work.

All work was done 6 months ago in a professional manner and very quickly. Trees were hauled away and the yard was raked very clean including my neighbors yard. Two weeks ago I notice some of the stump was not ground deep enough. I called them and they sent someone out to care of it within the week with no questions asked. Ashley was very professional and friendly answering the phone and emails. Very good service!

The job was done in a professional manor. The yard was raked to near spotless. I had all this done 6 months ago. Ashley was very polite and professional answering emails and phone calls. Two weeks ago I realized they missed some of the stump and I called them about it. They came out and took care of it. Very good people to work with!

Excellent crew worked together as a team and went beyond what I expected. I could not be more pleased. Will definitely call for any tree work I may need in the future. Clean up was excellent.

It went well. They did a really good job. They were thorough and they said they would get it done when it got done.

Come within days to give an estimate. Service man was very knowledgeable. Authorised work and was told that I would be put on the schedule for 4 weeks out. They came and went without any problems. They sent me a bill for their services which was the same as the estimate. They removed a tree and trimmed 7, removed all debris and yard looked great. Would defiantly use again.

The estimator Mike was on time and professional. They quoted me $650 to do the removal and gave me a discount brining the cost to $600. The only problem was they are very busy and did not have any availability to do the job for at least 3 weeks. I may have used them if I could have gotten the job done sooner. I will consider using them in the future though.

A crew of six men and equipment arrived mid morning and were all very professional. The Cottonwood trees were growing between two houses and hanging over my roof. They were all very organized. As limbs were cut and dropped, they were picked up and hauled off to the shredder. People on the ground raked up leaves and loose twigs as they went. Not a single limb ever touched the house. They had everything cleaned up, the stump holes back filled with dirt and job completed in about 6 hours. Very please with their work.
