The job went great! Juan come over gave me my bid at atime that was worked for me . the bid was very good , Juan is very good at giving suggestions on how to make your patio look better. he did help me where i did not have to take a day of vacation to get the job done. juan and his empolyees were both on time and even early to do the job which i am very pleased with that . most contractors will not listen to your questions and concerns, Eand J CONCRETE will ! the empolees ripped out the old patio and did not slack off while doing the job. they were in and out and got it done . cleaned up after themselves . hauled away old patio, it looks awsome!

The excavated broken slabs with a bob cat, hauled off material, prepared the base, tied in the steel rebar, poured the 4000 psi concrete, finished it to perfection, kept traffic off it for 7 days,,these guys are pros

They did a real nice job, and very quick. This was relatively simple compared to some of the things that they have done from looking at their portfolio.

It was nice having a contractor that returned calls and showed up when they said they would. E and J did a great job and completed the pour as agreed. I had a good idea on what I wanted in the design but Juan had some different ideas that look great. I would definitely use them again.

They answered my e-mail within a day (on a weekend), showed up when they said they would for the estimate, were patient in answering all questions, scheduled us promptly and were here to work on time. They finished quickly.

We found E and J Concrete through Angie's List and they were fantastic. They were very courteous and showed up on time. They were more than willing to do anything else that pertained to their business at that time if it needed to be done. He brought in a subcontractor to take care of some masonry and then he even filled some little cracks in the back for me and didn't charge me, so I was quite pleased. I'd give them an "A+" and will definitely call them again. As far as I know the price seemed fair to me and they were the only ones that I could get to show up.

I had Juan come out and give me an estimate on Monday for the driveway and walk and after reading the reviews and his estimate decided to have them do the work, the came out and did it the very next day! Talk about customer service!! After seeing what kind of work they do and talking to Juan about my patio I decided to go ahead and have them do that too. My house was built in the early 1950's and a previous owner had built a "bomb shelter" off the side of the patio. I always hated that thing and thought it was dangerous since the stairs down in it had long ago rotted out so I was very excited to get rid of it. They did an excellent job, I love it! I had several other estimates on my driveway and I thought they were all rather high, I felt like the estimate Juan gave me was very fair. The workers were prompt, very friendly and did and excellent job, plus they cleaned everything up. They even jump started my car one morning when it would not start!! I would highly recommend E and J if you need any concrete work done.

My driveway was a disaster with cracks, so much so that I found myself having to weed eat the weeds growing up between the cracks, I had 3 different companies give me a price quote, each of the 3 companies came out measured and either emailed or sent me their prices. Only E and J actually spent time asking me questions and giving me suggestions on what the best way to approach the project would be to meet my objectives when it was done. And so when I received the proposals back I was happy to see Juan with E and J was significantly under the other two proposals. Right up front I want to tell you.... if Juan or anyone from E and J tells you they are going to do something, or they tell you a time they are going to be at your house for any reason, you can take it to the bank they do what they say they are going to do!!!! Something that I have not found with many contractors that provide services in around your house. Excellent communications!! A few days before they started the job both Juan and his partner came out and shot all of the elevations and explained to me exactly what the process was going to be how long it was going to take and when they would be at the house to get started. All of which happened exactly as they described. I work from my home so I was able to watch E and J's crew as they poured the concrete. They work very efficiently and are perfectionists in making sure the job is done right. And after the job the clean up was excellent, you couldn't tell there had been a major job just completed. They did a great job and I wouldn't think of having anyone but them pour concrete for me in the future. I also needed some dirt work done in my backyard after the concrete portion was finished and they came in and did a great job with the dirt work as well. If you are needing concrete work done you have got to give Juan a call and let him come out and take care of your needs. You will be glad you did!

Juan was great to deal with! Started with a promptly answered email quote. When I informed him that his quote was a little higher than others, he asked if he could come see the job site personally for a better understanding. I gladly arranged a time on a Sunday and he showed up on time!! (getting a contractor to show up at all is a win in my opinion!). After seeing the job site was open and cement would not have to be pumped off the trucks, we agree to a price that was fair to both of us and well below my previous low bid! Juan and his team started on time and finished ahead of schedule! Did everything he said he would and more. Juan is an honest family man who is building a great business and strives to make every customer happy. Best contractor experience ever! You will not be disappointed with Juan. Fred

This was absolutely one of the best contractor experiences we have ever had. I would very highly recommend them. They went above and beyond what we would have expected them to do. They even cleaned up the mess left by another contractor! The workers all showed up on time and were working at the promised time. They got the job done in the time promised and came back to make sure we were happy.

They ended up not being able to complete the project.

While they did show up a little earlier than I expected (6:30 am) and started jackhammering on the porch, they did an excellent job and were finished by lunchtime - they did have to come back the next day to remove the frames and do some clean up. I have had several people tell me how nice they look and I love having the huge patio.

Juan is very punctual and professional. I described to him what I wanted and that's exactly what he did. The Eand J crew showed up around 6:45am and was done by noon. They are very attentive to clean up and left our yard the way it was when they arrived. The concrete work was perfect and I have already gotten several compliments from friends and relatives. I enjoyed visiting with Juan and watching his crew work. Very professional. I would recommend Eand J Concrete to anyone needing conrete work done.

Everything went quick and was painless. The pavers were originally stacked in the side yard and were not hauled away initially do to a miscommunication. I called Juan and they were removed the next day.

The angles of the concrete were great for drainage and cleanup was complete. Lalu is a true master of the "bobcat".

The crew was on time (7am) and very professional in their work. They had the majority of the work done and were on their way to the next job by noon. The owner Juan returned around 7pm the same evening to pull forms and back fill the job. Could not be happier with the way the project turned out. As it turns out Juan even bumped us up the schedule ahead of a new two week job when we explained we were on a deadline. We have recommended Eand J to many of our friends and neighbors who have seen the work first hand.

We joined Angie's List to find a reliable contractor for this job, and it was worth every penny. This contractor was fairly priced, prompt and exact. All of their staff worked hard and were very professional, and did a beautiful job. The cleanup was done nicely. We are very happy with their work, and the help with planning that they also provided. I requested the free estimate off of the web site. Juan worked around my schedule to come out while I was home. After the estimate I told him to go ahead and start the job they were the on the day they said at 7:15 in the morning. Driveway was out by 9 and they started pouring about 12 after they formed it up. Had most of the driveway and sidewalk done the first day and then finished the 2nd day with the driveway approach. They came back a 3rd day and removed the forms and cleaned up the yard and leveled out all the ground and filled in the dirt

This was a great deal. There were no problems at all. Very Very happy with Juan. The communications and the work quality is top notch. Juan will be the first guy I call if I need concrete or dirt work done.

Althought this was a small job, about 50 bricks to replace, in was done quickly but with excellent quality and in less than perfect weather.

After getting several bids I went with Eand J because Juan acted like he wanted to do the job and he seemed to know what I wanted. He was extremely easy to work with and seemed to care about the job he did. He told me up front that this would be a small job and would cost more money to do it quickly. However, if I could wait until he had a little concrete left in a truck that wasn't used for another job, I could save some money. I told him I could wait. Within a few days, he called to let me know he had just completed the job (I was only gone for a short time!). The sidewalk looks great! I would highly recommend Juan.

The work was performed quickly, professionally, and with much energy and attention to detail. The area was carefully cleaned up once the concrete had set up. Would employ this company again.
