Description of Work: I was very pleased with the friendly office, knowledgeable and thorough sales, and professional installation staff at Dans Heating and Cooling. The air conditioner in one of my rental properties, where a single mom with two children live, stopped working during the extended heat wave in mid June. The sales person not only assured their proposal was for an appropriate unit but also identified items that would be needed within the electrical panel and how the new a/c unit would be affected by the older furnace. While some may see that as looking for "additional work" the price quote including those items was comparable to other companies estimates that did not mention them. As well, Dans was a true quote where even if they would have found something else needed during the install I would not have been charged for it. A technician worked overtime late on a Friday evening to bring out a temporary unit to keep the house cool, at no charge, until the installation could be done. The sales staff called on Saturday to assure the portable was functioning so the mom and kids were comfortable. I also appreciated and utilized the Angie's List coupon that Dans Heating and Cooling offered. I would recommend, and will continue to use, Dans in the future.

Description of Work: The owner of the company, Wayne Giles, came out and did an estimate for some additional HVAC vents needed in our basement. Very courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. Work was done within two weeks by two employees. They seemed to know what to do, did the work quickly and left no mess. Would highly recommend.

Description of Work: I purchased a special deal from Angie's List for $49; it was a comprehensive AC checkup. Dan's got with me right away to schedule an appt. Adrian was the technician who arrived for the service call. He checked all workings of the AC unit and cleaned out the drain pipe and replaced the filter. He checked the outside unit which needed Freon, which he replaced; he also checked the humidifier. He answered all my questions and was very pleasant and professional. Along with the initial purchase of the service, the cost of the Freon was the only additional charge. I would use Dan's again.
