I called their 24 hour line around midnight, and was transferred by the dispatcher to a tech. The tech said he was too tired to complete any more work that evening. It was late, so when he said they would call me back around 7:30 am in the morning to send someone out when they open up at 8 am, that was fine. Plus, I would be avoiding the overtime charges. The call comes in, they said they need to setup my account before they can send someone out, seems reasonable, but they had all my information that was given to dispatch the night before. At this point I'm still thinking that someone is on their way. I get a another call 12:49 pm, they are calling me to put me on the schedule for this afternoon if I'm willing to pay overtime rates, even though it would be scheduled during normal business hours. This call supremely irritated me, because I had not gone to work because I was led to believe that a tech was going to already be out this morning when they opened. Now, I find out they don't have a time for me yet, and no matter what they are going to charge me overtime rates. I asked for the boss, Brett the boss said you should have scheduled with all the other companies and cancel the others when the first one arrives. Since I wasn't on another companies schedule I really wanted him to make this right by at least guaranteeing me a time this afternoon. He would not do that. So made the mistake of expecting them to show up. I didn't realize that one is expected to make appointments with all the HVAC companies in Wichita and take whoever shows up first. Now I missed work and still have no AC, and still am not on any companies schedule. They price gouge charging OT rates all day if you want to agree to get on the schedule in the next week after being led to believe they would be out already that morning. Lesson learned: schedule appointments with as many companies as you can find and cancel after one show up. <-- not how I do business but it is what they expect.

We have had a service contract with Comfort Systems for 20+ years and have always had excellent service. This was no different. They set us up with emergency heaters since it was very cold that night, and had the new system up and running the next day.

We called at the beginning of a holiday weekend (Friday evening) and asked them to call back on the first business day back (Tuesday). They called at 9:40 AM and were at the house by 11:00 and finished by 11:45. The technician was polite and efficient. He found the initial problem but also noted a piece of equipment that had been a "make-do" solution and fixed it with the appropriate item. Everything was put back where it belonged. I appreciated the promptness and attention to detail. I have used Comfort Systems at the business I managefor many years and will continue to call on them for my home as well.

Found a disconnected wire in the outside unit. Possibly caused by a rodent. Had us back up and running in about 30 minutes. $90 service call and $35 to reconnect the wire. Also came inside to check my overall HVAC set-up and determined all was in good working order.

We did some comparison pricing and they sounded good. They quoted a good price.

It went well. Had a couple minor issues and they came right out and fixed them.

Problem was diagnosed and repaired quickly and technician also observed possible issue with outside faucet that he recommended I take care of in the spring when the weather improves.

On 9/05/2013, Fahenstock Heating and Air serviced my air conditioner to address a coil freeze problem. Fahenstock identified that my refrigerant was 1.8 pounds low and charged my ac. They then checked for leaks and found several leaks in my evaporator coil. They rounded up on the charge for the Freon (which does not seem fair given how expensive it is) and charged me $305 for the service call. The estimate to replace the evaporator coil from Fahenstock was $1200. I contacted Comfort Systems for a second opinion and estimate. They were very responsive and came in substantially lower then Fahenstock.

It was installed well and so far it has been good; it is running fine. The hot water was a little bit high but they are coming to turn that down today. Other than that everything was fine. They were very efficient, professional, and they answered all our concerns. They were very quick to get to the job. From the time we decided the purchase to the time it was installed, it was about seventy two hours.

Comfort Systems came out for routine a/c maintenance and noticed the (aged) furnace had holes in it and was leaking carbon monoxide. They worked with us to recommend a replacement furnace that was a quality product within a price range we were comfortable with. They were very open minded....no pressure. They actually gave us 5 estimates and configurations to choose from, including an option to remove and install a newsw A/C unit at the same time. After installing the new heater, heatercoil and dicts, the gave me the afternoon to paint the wall vents in a color to match my decor, and came back the next day to install those, finish the A/C maintenance (at no charge) and arrange for the city inspector. they are great. highly recommended whether for a service call, routine maintenance or a new system (heat or air) installation!

The job performed by this company was as expected and up to standards. They arrived within the designated timeframe and properly performed the necessary repairs in a timely manner. Price was just fair. No complaints from me and I would use this company again.

The quality of the work was good, and very pleased with the work that they did. I would also recommend them to anyone with an AC/Heating problem.

Called them after choosing them from Angie's list. Got an appointment that was in a day, as I recall. They arrived on time.Did a great job and we had no further problems. They were prompt, professional and very helpful. Definitely would recommend them and would use them again in the future.

Totally professional and excellent service. A little on the high side for price, but I think when it comes to plumbers you get what you pay for. Came when scheduled. Cleaned up when work completed, no mess at all.

The company was very quick to set up an appointment, the gentleman flushed out the A/C and was finished. Overall, it took maybe 30-45 min. He was very professional.

The office scheduled my call quickly and offered appointment times that fit my schedule. Technician was professional, efficient and knowledgeable. Price was fair for services provided. The only complaint is that some dirty water was left on my bathroom tile floor. However, we will use Comfort Systems again as our home is over 60 years old.

Comfort Systems Heating A/C and Plumbing were very responsive. They came out right away. They also did a follow-up phone call which I appreciated because I was not with my tenants.

Comfort systems came out the same day that our water heater quit and was able to replace it. There were a couple of pipes that were no longer considered legal that were replaced. They also installed a pipe that allowed for outside drainage. The workers were very courteous and professional and I would highly recommend. Since our first great experience with this company, we have had other issues with the house and Comfort Systems has been able to come the same day each time we've called.

When our air conditioning went out we called Comfort Systems because we still had a home waranty on our home. The dispatcher commented that they have had many calls due to the hot weather. I was concerned that we would have to wait due to their increased calls but they were out that afternoon! Andy was pleasant and informative. He quickly took care of the problem and took the time to instruct me on the "care and feeding" of my unit. He did not do any unauthorized work or try to convince me that I needed more than I did. I will probably contract with Comfort Systems on routine service for heating and cooling this fall when the home waranty runs out and it's time to service the furnace for winter.

They did a good job. They were prompt and did what was asked for the quote.

My outside faucet wouldn't shut off, I was under home warranty with Comfort Systems and called a plumber out. This wasn't covered under home warranty but the fellow did work for them. He did a good job and price seemed fair.

I have used them off and on for many things over the years. The overall experience was excellent.

They charged more than a quote from another company that is the only reason we switched just because we bought a furnace from someone else. They were a good company, I would have no problem calling then out again. My overall experience was excellent. They were over-priced, so we went with the other one. For some reason if we decide not to go with the other company, we would use them in the future.
