Todd filled in a pond, worked on a waterfall, and installed a sprinkler system. Despite months of phone calls to him, Todd never fixed the waterfall so that it worked properly, and the sprinkler system he installed also never worked properly and eventually turned out to be illegal, besides, as among other things, it lacked the required backflow preventer (backflow preventers are mechanical devices which, when properly maintained, prevent dangerous contaminants and pollutants from entering the public water supply). I have since been compelled to hire someone else to repair the waterfall, and also to hire a lawn irrigation company to come out and install a completely new sprinkler system, as nothing Todd had done in that regard was even salvageable. After I refused payment for all of Todd's unsatisfactory work, he then wanted to come out to the house and, among other things, dig up the cheap dirt with which he had filled in the pond. I should also point out that during the installation of the sprinkler system, he destroyed a large section of sod that he never replaced, and he left the area where he had filled in the pond unseeded and unsodded, as well, despite repeated insistences that he would take care of it. In addition, he destroyed several plants that he failed to replace, despite repeated promises to do so. I will never use his services again nor recommend him to anyone else.

I talked with Todd on the phone and made an appointment for an estimate a few days later. Todd spent time talking with me about what was needed to save one of our trees and improve the health of others, and we scheduled the project. It rained hard the day I was to have service, and due to my needing soil treatment for borers, the work was postponed pending fairer weather (to prevent the chemicals from being diluted). One minor problem that occurred was I had to call after 2.5 weeks to find out why the service had not been rescheduled; Todd discovered that my paperwork had been put in the wrong pile and overlooked. I very much appreciated that he offered a sincere apology, which he voiced both on the phone and in person later when he came out with his crew a few days later. The 4-5 member team went straight to work, service was completed quickly, and everything was cleaned up afterward. Todd even allowed the last-minute addition of a little work I'd forgotten to include previously, and we negotiated a new price. I was very pleased with the company, quality of work, and customer service.

Tree removal was done with great care and safety. HOWEVER, as far as LANDSCAPING AT MY HOME is concerned, a tree planted June 6, 2013, died within weeks. I have called, emailed and written to the owners (Todd Blunt and Joel Rosiere) over the past fifteen (15) months. I received many promises (in person and over the phone) that the tree (a weeping red bud) would be replaced. No tree arrived. Finally, on September 9, 2014 I dug it up, put it in a bucket and hauled it to their front porch/business address on South Topeka with a letter (bright pink so they could not miss it). Considering the amount of money I had spent with them, I asked them to send me a check for $100.00. Today is October 15, 2014 and I have heard nothing from them. Not a great way to do business. The devil is in the details.

They came when they said they would and they gave me an estimate. They told me the day they would start and they showed up that morning. They did what they said they would do. They showed up on time.

I was amazed with the crew they had it was the best experience I have had with a tree company! the guys were respectful, kept busy and made sure exactly what I wanted and how I wanted my trees is what I got! I have been taken advantage of in the past by tree services I was completely impressed and happy with Branchs I would highly recommend them to anyone

The tree climber, Adam, was fantastic. He seemed very experienced and even hung a tree swing for us while he was up there. He pruned back my dwarf cherry tree and left it looking beautiful. Todd, the sales manager, is very friendly, but not always professional. On the day they were scheduled to perform services, I called him early afternoon because I hadn't heard from anyone. Todd didn't know what was going on when I called him, and it took him several hours to find out. However, they did end up honoring the original appointment and finished the job before the end of the day. I had to ask them to trim up a few additional branches at the end of the job (some of the team was new - I wasn't too impressed with them). But Todd made sure I was happy before they left.

Arrived at 09:00 and left around 19:00 hours. They were here all day. Next morning the stump grinder came in and finished that off. Good service and and friendly staff.
