Bob Stith Heating & Cooling

About 10 years ago I had them put dampeners in my air ducts so that I could regulate the air in different zones in my house. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that they weren't working anymore. I called Stith and someone came out the next day and confirmed that one of them was no longer working. He said that he would need to order another one. That was over a week ago, and have not heard anything since. I called last Friday and left a voice message. Never heard back. Tuesday I called and spoke to the receptionist. She said that either she or the guy that came out would get back with me. Nope. Yesterday I sent an email. Nothing. Customer service is Zilch here.

I scheduled an appointment to have a tech look at a shed furnace to see if it was operational. 12/29/22. Tech came out and thought that he could have it fixed later that day "for a couple hundred dollars." Parts were unavailable so said that he would contact me the next week. Nothing. I left several messages to learn they were "still looking." Again, weeks passed with several unreturned calls. Received a bill for $200. Then the $5 part was "located." More time passed with more unreturned calls. Then the tech "fixed it." Another $200. Within days, I could smell gas. Zero concern from Bob Stith employees when contacted. When call was finally returned, tech said he would be out on Friday afternoon 1/27/23 to check it. No show. Showed up on Saturday morning to say "Not sure why" and now the "fixed" furnace won't stay lit. More messages left unreturned. On 2/2/23 tech calls and says the "new repair" will be $300 in parts plus another $400 in labor. have I also left two messages over the past two days to have the owner/manager call me. Nothing. I made it VERY clear up front that the furnace was old and that I didn't want to sink a lot of money into it. So now I'm left with a $400 bill, a pipe LEAKING GAS that wasn't before, 10+ unreturned calls, and 6+ weeks of lost time for my business. This is one of the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL businesses I have EVER dealt with!!!

We see him once a year unless something is wrong. I like their honesty. We've been using him for twenty-five years.

My air-conditioner was only cooling my house to 85 degrees,so I called Bob Stith heating and Air. The receptionist answered,took my information and promised to call me back as soon as possible. She called me back to inform me a mechanic was on his way. He arrived in about 20 minutes. It only took about a half hour for him to diagnose the problem,and fix it. The young man's name was Spenser. He was very polite and professional. I would be glad to call them again if necessary.

The unit is working wonderfully.
