Had several problems with them residing my house. First of all, the dumpster was supposed to be at my house early in the morning on the day that they started. It did not show up until 6 pm that evening so the old siding was on my grass all day and killed some of it. After they were done, I checked everything and found they messed up my electrical, did not hook the exhaust hose back up when they installed a new vent. The project manager was not any help, so I had to call the owner. Eventually they got an electrician out to fix everything and I hooked the exhaust hose up myself and now everything is good but the fact that they said they were done and left things a mess if what bothered me. It took a couple weeks to fix, and it should have been done in 4 days. Most people probably don't check everything like I did so who knows if they did this to other homeowners.

The job was done right. Everything was good and no issued.

I had a new shower installed in Feb 2019. Jamie, the salesperson was very thorough and detailed when providing the estimate. The installer explained what he was going to do and ensured he would keep everything neat during the project. He covered the carpet so not to track dirt into the house. He cleaned up nicely when he was done. I truly enjoyed the walking shower. It was better than imagined. It even added value to my house when I recently sold it! It was also very easy to clean. You can't go wrong. Everyone was professional and respectful.

About as good as a remodel project can go.

The work was started ahead of schedule and was done faster than expected. There was one unforeseen problem (due to our deck pergola coming in contact with the new gutter). We worked with the company to reach a solution, they fixed it the next week, and we are delighted!

Very good and knowledgeable salesman. Good installers, but concrete dust everywhere and crew's ladders tore up my yard. Crew does work with ladders instead of pump jacks, so the crew ladders marring the James Harding factory finished caused many punch list items. Window installers good, but leaves windows clean to siding installer foreman. Too many punch list items, and too much time spent having to create the list.

I was very satisfied with the entire process. Installer did a great job. I have additional windows that need replaced, and I will definitely call them again.

I was pleased with my experience with All States Exteriors. I had them replace all of the siding on my house with pre-painted Hardiplank siding and also had them replace my wood shake roof with a composite roof. Their bids were competitive and their work was outstanding. I dealt with Wes, and he was not high pressure at all; he made recommendations to help me stay within my budget. All States was the only contractor to give me a bid for the pre-painted Hardiplank siding; all of the other contractors wanted to install the unpainted and then I would have had to have someone else paint. All States did an excellent job installing the pre-painted.

The windows went very well. They were a good company. The gal that came out was awesome. Everything went well 99% well. I love the windows and how everything turned out. The two reasons why I wouldn't use them again: 1. They do not paint the siding. You have to call someone else to paint it so it was an additional cost. 2. It was such a small job that less care was taken in the quality of the work as far as the siding goes. I would use them for window replacement but not for siding.

They always do great work and are very professional

I had them come out and give an estimate on the work I wanted done. This was done very promptly and was within my budget. When they came out they got all my info and acted like I was their only customer, so when I got the estimate and was shown the quality of their product I hired them immediately. Within a couple of weeks they were out putting up the gutter and covers and had to order the rest and was out to put that up as soon as we could get it scheduled. Very pleased with the quality of the work done, the quality of the professionals that did the work, they did the work and cleaned everything up. I have to say that the whole process was professional.

Sales consultant seemed disinterested. Did not bring any material to initial appointment i.e. sales brochere, pictures. Even had to go out to the car to get laptop to provide verbal estimate. I was later that day sent a written proposal which was incorrect. Only follow up communication has been in the form of standard formated emails not even signed by the individual that I had contact with.

I went with a different contractor.

They were very prompt. They looked very professional. Their vehicles were clean and everything. I would say that they looked like they knew what they were talking about. They seemed very professional.

One of the representatives came out and gave us an estimate on what needed to be done. When the insurance adjuster came out they were here to walk through everything to make sure they understood the adjuster's findings. There were some issues between the two that took sometime to work out They sent a crew out and replaced the roof. The crew did a good job and did really well a making sure the yard was clean of trash and ran a magnet machine across the yard to make sure they got all of the nails picked up as well. We worked together to arrange for a certified HVAC company to come out and replace the HVAC issues to make sure it was done right. A couple of weeks later they took care of the damaged window wraps A couple weeks after that they sent a crew out to replace the identified guttering. Job complete.

The entire experience was excellent. The salesman was professional, punctual, thorough and took as much time as need to answer all of our questions. We needed new windows on the south side of our house. The summer heat blasted through with heat that could be felt several feet away. The demo on these windows "sold us". Still I was very skeptical whether these windows really would reduce the radiant heat significantly. To our amazement they did. In fact you could not feel the heat at all even when placing your hand on the window. In addition, the installers were professional and did a superb job. For example, one of our old windows broke while they were removing it (apparently a common scenario). There was a loud "pop". My wife expected to hear foul language but didn't hear a peep. The men went on working with professional temperament. The cut out, install and caulking job was excellent. All in all, we had a very good experience with All States Windows.

We had used this complany in the past for replacing our siding and windows and was thrilled. So we knew to use their services for the roof and gutter replacement. As in the past, Daryn was always punctual w/ the bidding process and getting everything processed w/ the insurance company. It took approx 3wks for the team to arrive but they arrived when they said they would. Did what they said they would. The job was done well as far as we can tell (I'm not getting up there to inspect!) but they could have done a better job cleaning up (of course it could've been a lot worse too!). They're good people.

Great experience from beginning to end. Very professional, clean crew, did quality work, sent an inspector behind to check the work and had them address things that we wouldn't have noticed.

Had some problems with communication during installation such as all materials being delivered and stored in my garage without knowing prior to delivery; the workers being pulled off the job to build a set for the Topeka Home Show; the siding taking about 2 weeks to put on. Stuff like that. But I wasn't in a hurry so I just dealt with it. They did do a great job boxing the windows in instead of using plaster. That was a great thing. The real problems started when I called on4-29-11. I called and talked to the receptionist concerning the parts that shifted/slipped. She took my name and number and said it would be a couple of weeks. 8-11-11. I called and left a message to please contact me. 8-17-11. I called again since I never heard back. I figured I gave them enough time to call me back. I spoke with the receptionist again. She stated that my name came up with Chris Keeter and that my call order was in the system. She stated they would call me back. Chris did call back and stated that I would be charged to fix the problem. I told him to forget it even though I thought it was installed incorrectly. I sent an email asking for an explanation of why this repair is not covered by their warranty that states: "All States Windows and Siding, LLC Lifetime Labor Warranty All States Windows and Siding, LLC, warrants the installation of the products that are installed by All States Windows & Siding, LLC, will be free from defects due to faulty or improper workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the home. All States Windows & Siding, LLC, will cover the cost of labor only. This warranty does not apply to misuse or abuse, fire, vandalism, normal maintenance, acts of God, or other causes beyond the control of All States Windows & Siding, LLC. This warranty is not transferable." 9-14-11. I sent another email since I had not heard back from the company. I have the receipt that they did receive it. 5-16-12. I sent a letter to the Mr. Daryn Keeter, certified, return receipt, since I had not heard back from them. In the letter I outlined what occurred and provided photos of the pieces that separated as well as copies of the emails I sent. I also addressed another problem that reared up since then - one of the windows formed a film between the panes. I had asked that a response be provided by 31 May 2012. 5-25-12. I sent a CD with photos of the siding and windows after being asked to provide them from Mr. Keeter. 7-17-12. Sent another letter, certified, return receipt to Mr. Keeter since I had not heard back from them. This has been a very frustrating experience. As I said at the start, I dealt with the materials being delivered without being notified, the crew being pulled from the job, the crew not showing up, the siding taking so long to install mainly because they boxed the windows instead of plastering them. But the rest? I hate making reports such as this but how much time and how many chances does it take to get an explanation? 11-1-12: Heard from one of the owners of the company. We had discussed the problem and we both agreed that the piece did slip. The company view is that they tried to fix it once and since they could not nail or otherwise secure the piece that I would have to pay for them to come and fix it. It was also stated to me that this was a problem the owner (me) is responsible for - under owner maintenance. I pointed out that the area where it slipped is at least 15-20 feet off the ground and that I don't feel that it is my responsibility to fix a problem they created. Of course, nothing is going to be done because they do not feel it is their responsibility and I sure as heck am not going to crawl up a ladder and try to fix it since doing so could be seen as me making the problem worse, to say nothing of the safety factor. My thought is this: Would they tell the same thing to an elderly woman? That she should get on a ladder and fix it herself? Also - the window problem has been addressed - not by this company since they never responded to any of my requessts in a timely manner. I had to call the window company to get the name of a local company that could do the work. But the owner of All States said that I could call them to help install the window. That call will never happen. I have decided to live with the gaps and just let people know who did the work when they ask.

Nice enough in order to get the business. Work not so good. They were not careful when throwing shingles off and they landed on my rose bushes! One bush was broken off. A couple of items of workmanship were not done correctly. It took several weeks to get them to contact us and three more trips to get things right.

Read above, no services were performed. No communication and no estimate. Very poor practice according to their advertisement.

It was a good experience. He delivered as promised and had good contact. He did good quality work. I have not compared his prices. I will use his services again in the future.

Quality of the work was good but do not have Daryn manage your project, ask for Cris, the owner when getting an estimate. Daryn tells you what you want to hear instead of finding the correct answer and he does not stay on top of what is going on. Very little communication.

Service was great. They were very professional and did a great job on the siding, painting and guttering. The price was not the lowest, but they were not the highest either. Would definately recommend.

The windows were first installed in December. During installation the installer cracked the upper arched window. A new arched window had to be ordered. A few days later the siding and board were replaced. This was done fairly satisfactorily. However, the installer only caulked a small portion (approx. 6 inches in length) of the siding where it touched the trim. Since a very small amount of caulking was done, it was obvious that caulking was intended for all the areas where the siding met the window surround. When installer left, he did not inform my husband that he would be returning to finish the caulking. As it was January by this time, it was not until late February, when I got outside, that I noticed the caulking had not been completed. I had to request the completion the caulking. (Although my sales rep told me that lack of caulk would not be a problem and cause rotting—the original reason for the new siding—I thought this was not satisfactory to not caulk Back to the arched window....the first replacement for the cracked window did not arrive until mid January. I had to follow up on this to find out the status. When the first replacement arrived and brought to our house. The cracked window was removed and the new put in place. It was not the right size. The window was reordered. This time it arrived to All States from manufacturer cracked. Again, reordered. The replacement was brought to our house again. The cracked window was removed and the new put in place. It was not the right size again. At this point I contacted my sales rep and he offered me a $75 gift card for dinner. Another window arrived, however, this time the window was measured in the truck before installation and it was the STILL the wrong size. I complained to sales rep again. This time he spoke with his manager and said they would contact their manufacturer (as the error was primarily due to the manufacturer). The verdict of this was $100 off the total price—just $25 more than the previous compensation for all the disruption this caused us—such as time off work to be at home for installation, poor customer service, etc.. Finally, the window arrived. It was measured at All States warehouse and confirmed to be the correct size, it was install on April 3. One other issue was the in the middle of all this I received a call from their Accounts Receivable requesting payment. Obviously, lack of completion of the job had not been communicated to here. I returned her call and told her the work was not complete. We selected All States for this job—and were willing to pay more—because we were confident they would be in and out (just as their TV ad states) and my job would be completed in a few days. This was not the case.
