Aire Serv of North Wichita

A couple years ago, an injection was placed in my AC Freon Line which fixed the Freon leak which caused a large leak each year. Since then, there has been no issues and the basic cleaning/filter replacement and inspection has made the AC and Heat work great for its age without any problems.

Four other companies came and provided free estimates to complete furnace connections to registers, but since I wasn't looking for a system replacement, Aire Serv considered my request a "diagnostic" and wanted to charge $89 just to come take a look. No thanks.

Very responsive and corrected issues that resulted from the installation tech's errors. Would definitely use them again.

AC went out last summer they came out on a emergency call , and it cost about 180 to replace the compressor

Brett was very friendly & professional. Informed me with tips on how to care for our HVAC system. Also told me of the service plan they offer for regular maintenance & discounts on parts. Never pressured me to purchase anything. John is very friendly and professional as well. Highly recommended!

It went great. The man came with one helper. In one day, they tore out the old unit, and the new one was installed before quitting time that same day. Very professional.

John (the owner) has a tremendous amount of experience with geothermal systems and easily accessible to all his technicians. Hands and shoulders above Ball Heating and Air who installed by geothermal heat pump.

He gave my entire system a check up and once he figured out the culprit part, he replaced it. Took about 1 hour. I have not had a single problem since. He also called and asked if he could come early as he was ahead of schedule, worked out well that day.

It turned out good. They didn't try to bait me into anything else. They did exactly what I wanted them to do.

It went great. He found a burned wire and replaced it with no additional charge. He explained what he did and also gave an estimate on the remaining lifetime of the furnace. We just bought the house so it was very helpful to know the approximate life left in the furnace.

Excellent. John came out after hours on a Friday evening to evaluate our system. We had been without A/C for over a week (due to ridiculous issues with our home warranty company). He completed his evaluation and even tried to get our company on the line and explain the problem to them. While he was unable to fix the company he did provide a very competitive quote and estimated time of installation. He was then able to come out a day early (a Sunday) and install the system. He and his employee were done in about three hours and completely replaced the unit, new coil, and added new coolant. Would absolutely recommend them and will use them in the future for any of our heating or A/C needs.

John took our call personally, late on a Saturday night (10 pm) and came out on a Sunday (Father's Day) to take care of the issue we were having as a temporary fix pending replacement of the AC unit. We'll be using Aire Serv for all of our heating and cooling needs in the future. You couldn't find a more professional, reasonable and all-around great person to work with! In fact, we had him install a whole home humidifier for us last year and his company also took care of a burned out condenser on our furnace last winter as well. In fact, the technician tracked down the source of the problem that led to the burn-out, corrected it as well and advised us on what to keep an eye on to eliminate future problems. I can't recommend John and his staff highly enough!!

Before calling Air Serve, I called my homeowner warranty company (AHS) to set up a repair and they set me up with a non-responsive HVAC contractor who could not see me until two days later. Due to a number of factors, I could not wait that long and decided to call a couple Angie's List recommended contractors. John Hislop with Air Serve answered my call and I explained my situation. He was completely booked, but said he would be willing to come out after hours to take care of my A/C problem. Due to a thunderstorm, we had to postpone to the next day, but he said he could come as early as 5AM to take care of it. Sure enough, he was there at 5AM and diagnosed a faulty capacitor, and not only replaced it, but also cleaned my unit (sprayed down the coils to remove pollen build-up) all before most people are awake. I am extremely thankful for John's willingness to go above and beyond (5AM service and not only replacing a capacitor but also cleaning my unit). I would highly recommend John and Air Serve. Going forward, I will cancel my home warranty (AHS) and begin a yearly contract with Air Serve.

Brent explained all that he was going to do, showed me all the issues he found and was able to make some repairs tested the unit all in a courteous and professional manner.

Very friendly and trustworthy (worked on house without me there). Originally had them come out for a tune up only to find that we had low coolant. Instead of simply charging me for more freon he looked for a leak instead. Sure enough found one. He recommended I call my home warranty and explain to them the issue, I was able to have Aire Serv complete the repairs through my warranty. They did a fantastic job in a timely manner. --Cost is left blank because of the home warranty, therefore I have no comparison to their pricing.

After the standard clean and check activities (which was the most thorough cleaning of the outdoor unit we've had compared to other businesses), John explained the situation with the leak, and I was given a clear set of alternatives with pros/cons of each (replace vs. recharge and see). While we opted to recharge for now, and I know I'll need more work later, AireServ will be my first call. I appreciated the time he took, his clear explanations, and the fair pricing on alternatives.

They did a great job, and I would recommend them to anyone.
