They never came back and completed the job.

Eric and his crews are very organized and capable. Every part of the job was done quickly and well. Our house is all new on the outside and is really better than new. The original house when it was brand new was not nearly this good! The windows are very good quality, low-e, argon filled, double paned and tilt out for cleaning. The crew installed them very quickly and they are well designed to integrate with the siding to stop drafts around the edges. New siding was put on only after the sheathing underneath was repaired/replaced where needed. A new front door and new storm door with a concealed roll up screen were all installed by professional crew that knew exactly what to do. The crew for the roof is the same group that did our roof 3 years ago and did a very good job again. All the crews were polite, quick to answer questions and address our concerns. The crews cleaned up around the house every day before they left. We neglected to get new exterior lights picked soon enough, so they came back with no complaint to install those a couple of days later at the end of their work-day on another house. I think the things that impressed us the most were the quality of workmanship, their good attitude every day, cleaning up the debris every day, staying on budget and staying on schedule. All of that work was done in less than 10 days. Even though Absolute Roofing had put a new roof on for us before, we took several bids on the job. Their bid was very reasonable in comparison with the other contractors. We believe we could not have gotten a better deal or a better job from anyone else.

The first repair was prompted by a hail storm nearly a year earlier but I wasn't aware of it until the roof started leaking because of snow piled on it from a blizzard the following winter. Eric checked the roof and researched hail storms in the area. He met with the insurer's claims adjuster saving me thousands on the replacement roof. Neither I nor the adjuster was happy when a hail storm tore up the roof again a month later, along with hundreds of other homes in the city. But Eric went to bat for me again, which was extremely important because I was selling my home, had a contract on it and relocating to another state. When I filed the second claim, the adjuster who initially came out agreed that the roof needed to be replaced, along with the windows, and some other things. However, the adjuster submitted the wrong measurements for the roof and windows. Eric and I noticed the error and disputed the claim. There were enough errors in the claim that the claims representative agreed to send another on-site adjuster with more experience to the home for another look. That adjuster again said the roof and windows needed to be replaced, but again put in the wrong measurements. This is where it pays to read the claims settlement and have a reliable contractor on the job. Before beginning any work, Eric sent a satellite view of the house with the exact measurements of the roof so the insurer could calculate the full cost of the replacement. The house wasn't in danger of any additional damage because there were no opening for water to get in, etc. But Eric advised me to hold off on the repairs until all disputes were settled. He said if he began any of the repairs in dispute before the claim was settled to my satisfaction, the insurer would not have paid the full value of my claim because the insurer would have said that the evidence of actual damage was no longer there for them to evaluate. To my insurer's credit, the representative reiterated that fact when I called to say the payout was too low. Despite the problems with the claim, which wasn't settled until after closing, Eric made sure the insurer got what it needed to pay the full cost of the claim. And he immediately fit the repairs on the house into his schedule so that I could satisfy the terms of the sell contract. As before, there were no surprises about the cost or the quality of the work. He was also very responsive to my questions or concerns throughout the process. I'd hire Eric again in a heartbeat if I had too and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends and family.

I wanted a company who could do siding AND roof. When i contacted Eric after finding info here, realized he had done work for many of the people i work with. So got many great recommends from people I trust. They were fast, did great work...bid under the insurance allowance so didnt even end up paying deductible. NO complaints. I hate dealing with contracting home repairs, but theseguys were a dream to work with. Totally recommend them!

They did a great job on our roof for a price we could afford. They were quick to get us on the schedule and quick to get the job done, it only took 2 days. They were careful of my flower beds and cleaned up afterwards very well. They also did a new roof for my son the same month and were just as quick and careful on it. They were very courteous and we were glad we hired them to do the job.

They first provided me with a quote. Their price was in accordance with their quote. The owner of the company actually went to high school with one of my friends. I just felt comfortable with him. He delivers what he promises. The roof looks nice and it doesn?t leak. I have friends and neighbors who are having issues with their roofers, and I feel fortunate. Sometimes they can be over responsive, but that?s okay. I would recommend Absolute Roofing Specialists to family and friends.

I called Eric McCrae in the beginning of May for a quote for my roof and gutters after I put a claim into my insurance company. He was on time for the initial meeting and I really liked his professionalism and he was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything to me in detail. Since we were waiting on funds from the insurance company and I had to go out of town the work did not begin until June 3rd. He did call me weekly to update me on a start date due to rain pushing back other jobs ahead of mine. It took a total of 2 days for the roof and gutters to be completed One day for the roof and the other for the gutters. The guys showed up at 8:30am and when I came home the first day I was very pleased. The new roof gave the house a totally updated look. The gutters were just the icing on the cake. They cleaned up after themselves and I was very pleased with everything. I did call a couple of other places to get quotes, one place had voicemail in the middle of a work day (which I didn't leave a message). The other never called me back after speaking to the roofer and giving him my address and so forth. You would think a $6000 job would at least warrant a call back. Oh well, I'm happy Absolute Roofing did the job and they did it well. I definitely recommend them and would use them again.
