+ -1 moreRyan was great to work with and you can tell that he takes his job very seriously. He is definitely a professional in ever sense of the word. I thought his inspection was very detailed and thorough and his turn-around time in providing us a report was very quick. I would definitely recommend Essential Inspections for any home inspection that needs to be done. The total amount for the services was $450, which included the mechanical inspection ($325) and 48-hour radon test ($125).
Description of Work: We're buying a house and had Ryan with Essential Inspections do the mechanical inspection and the radon testing. Ryan was prompt, professional, and thorough in his inspection. He did a great job explaining everything that he saw that was both good and bad with the house, and gave us an digital copy of the report with pictures within 24-hours after the inspection. He recommended that we followed up with an specialist in foundations and that specialist confirmed everything that Ryan reported in his inspection. Ryan has a great attention to detail and literally inspected the house from top to bottom including major appliances and systems (HVAC, dishwasher, etc.) and even braved the attic to give us more information on what was up there (because I doubt we'll ever be brave enough to venture up there). I felt as though his inspection not only gave us piece of mind, but as first time home-buyers he also gave us a lot of good information on how to maintain parts of the house.
