Started off well...love the product and satisfied with the finished product...although I didn't get half of the look of the finished product I paid for. I may have been their first attempt at a project like this. Not satisfied with the workmanship, cleanliness and follow up. First off...Diamond coat epoxy was applied to 2 sheets of metal, cut to width and height for back splash in kitchen. When the cuts for the outlet holes were a complete failure, she resorted to making at least 8 cuts (picture provided) and was then going to piece together and cover seams with metal strips then the use of liquid nails to hold the metal on wall failed. She thought using sheet metal screws would add an interesting look. I was considering all that was changing in design...from 0 seams...too 12 seams, then the addition of screws. I came to the conclusion...that it wasn't going to work. So she did the diamond coat wall application, which was not the look nor desired effect I liked....but no other option (pics provided). The Diamond coat application to the counter top looks amazing...but as she stated "any work of art has its flaws"...so...take what you want from that, there are a few flaws I am overlooking, but not the counter top cut, fit, and sink cut out(pictures provided) I even provided the manufacturer's cardboard template for the sink cutout but she refused to use it both times she made the cuts. Not one straight cut so I took it upon myself to fix around the under-mount sink...so all sides were equal to the sink and none of the top of the sink was visible. I also replaced trim, puttied and sanded to try and make as seamless as I could. But I couldn't make it perfect (pics provided). I had to wait 24 hours before removing all the plastic...I wish she would have came and removed it...thats when all the damage was uncovered. All except the scratches and stuff on the cabinets...which happened when they were attempting to install the sheet metal backsplash(pictures provided) The stainless steel sink was the worst...with globes and smears of epoxy on the sides and one large blob of liquid nails in the bowl (pics provided). Then the smears of epoxy on the stainless steel top front of the dishwasher and the handle(pics provided). Next the stainless steel refrigerator door...not sure if epoxy or the rag she was using to wipe it off...she had used rubbing alcohol on rag before wiping the fridge door in a circular motion (pic provided). Lastly the new floors... apparently the plastic didn't work there either...many spots where epoxy is stuck to my new floors (pics provided). I couldn't show all the pics...10 was the limit. don't know why some are not the right way. Since there has been no follow up on her part as a business owner... blocked me from Facebook...so unprofessional....Angie's list and the BBB are my only other options. This is where my son and I live and put a lot of work into...all flooring, cabinets and appliances less than a year old...and the 1 business I hire for doing a kitchen counter top and backsplash...mess sooo.... much up!
