+ -1 moreI was not satisfied with the quality. They were very responsive to me when I asked them come back to put a second coat of paint on and to take off paint that was on the woodwork. After the second coat I felt the quality of the work is fine.
Description of Work: I received a quick estimate when I initially called and the painting was competed a few weeks after that. Kenny's Painting painted the family room, kitchen, hallway and entryway along with the ceilings in all of those areas. It was a two day job and there were either one or two painters working depending on the day.

+ -1 moreWork started ahead of schedule an progessed as expected. Fortunately the weather cooperated. The job forman listemed to me and responded to my requests. There weren't many because he had anticipated what needed to be done. He always let me know what was going to happening the next day and often gave me advice on finishes. The workmen were courteous and and went about their jobs quietly. Even though it is a large house, it was completed on schedule.
Description of Work: Repaired siding where it was beginning to pull away from house. Power-washed house. Painted exterior siding, caulked and painted trim of large two-story house in rural area. Stained front door and shutters and applied finish. Stained deck posts and hand rails to match decking.

+ -1 moreSome delays where encountered with personnel availability for the first part of the job, but the work progressed quickly the last week and a half. Very satisfied with overall quality of the workmanship.
Description of Work: Work performed included priming, caulking and final coat painting of cement board siding which a different contractor installed. The work was performed over a 3 week period and although the first week or so it was somewhat intermittent (coming and going when still finishing other work, the last week and a half they stayed with the job and finished in a professional manner.

+ 0 moreCalled and had appointment for estimate within a couple of days. Owner came out, talked to me, did a viewing of all the rooms. I had picked out the colors I wanted already. He gave me an estimate, which did not include materials. I purchased the paint. Work was started within a week. Had one painter who came out for five days. He worked from about 8:30 to 3:00 or 4:00 everyday. Only t00k a break at lunch and a few minutes in the morning and afternoon. Was very professional. Took all hanging decorations off the wall and replaced. Also vacuumed carpet after painting rooms with carpet. Swept rooms with wood floor. Very pleased and would use again. Price may be a little high in my opinion, but I believe I got my money's worth

+ -1 moreThe work was handled very professionally. The crew chief was most accomodating in explaining every step of the process. My husband and I weren't able to move everything off the back deck especially, and the chief was wonderful about helping with that.
Description of Work: We requested an estimate in May 2012 but didn't have the work done immediately. When we called in September, we were assured the estimate was still good - would be honored. The work included replacing some deteriorated facia boards, removing the existing guttering, refastening some loose siding, and then power washing the exterior, including a front and back deck. Scraping was done where necessary. Great care was taken in masking windows, exterior lighting fixtures, doors, and brick work so there would be no over-spray of paint on them. The garage actually needed 3 coats because it had weathered more. The decks were painted by hand, as was all the trim. When the painting was completed, the guttering crew came out and installed seamless guttering to coordinate with the trim color.

Description of Work: This was a big job and the cost of the service included also applying new seamless guttering. The job took about 2 weeks and the crew worked very h****** prepping the paint (exterior) surfaces prior to painting. They used quality paint and went above and beyond by also painting two large porches (which were not in the initial estimate) and the overall outcome was just what we had hoped for. Thank you for the team that worked on out home, you worked very hard and we love the appearance of out home now - Thank you!

+ -1 moreThey responded expeditiously, but we didn?t select them as their estimate was on the high side. Other than that they were fine. We had two quotes and theirs was higher. We have our own siding. They were just going to paint the wood trim, gutters, exposed woodwork and so forth. Their quote was good and thorough. I think they emailed us the quote which was fine. We like the people that we have now found, so we would probably stick with them and not use Kenny's Painting.

+ 4 moreOnce the job was started, it went quickly. The workers arrived early and worked with only a short break for lunch each day. The day they left there was hardly any debris to clean up - they had managed to take off the old roof and replace it without the usual aftermath of small pieces of shingles and nails in the bushes and around the perimeter of the buildings. We were very pleased with the neatness and promptness of their work.
Description of Work: Replaced roof on house and garage. Installed skylight in bathroom.
