Beautiful!! that is how my new floors and staircase look! Jeff did such a good job, he made sure I was happy with the results.. It was a pleasure working with someone like Jeff who is honest and takes the time with his craftsmanship. He installed a staircase and flooring in hickory, stained and sealed it.. We were very pleased with the professionalism and quality of service. Jeff was super helpful, knowledgable, and very easy to work with. During all stages of the project, he went out of his way to make sure we were happy. We would definitely use him again.

Jeff and his crew did an excellent job. We had to leave town while the work was being done and Jeff kept us updated by texting photos of the progress and repairs. We returned to beautiful floors and they had taped off areas they weren't working in so we didn't have a mess to clean.

Jeff did an amazing job on our living room and dining room floors. I still can't believe they're the same ones we left when we went away for the week! I knew he'd do a great job by reading the reviews on here, but I didn't know what to expect and the job done FAR exceeds our expectations. I had no issues in trusting him with our house keys and in fact, he updated me daily on the progress at my home. The price we paid was well, well, well worth it. I had gotten a couple of quotes before and they were way more than what Jeff quoted me. We will be hiring him again to do our hallway and stairs, for sure.

Our experience with Jeff could not have gone better. His bid, timeframe, and attention to detail were flawless. He spent extra time to move a leather couch out of our family room that needed the doorframe removed to get it in the room. He spent time with us after hours to make sure we were pleased with the stain color for our floors. He's very professional and treated our house as if it was his own while we were out of the house for the week of work. My final hooray for Jeff is he went above and beyond with the amount of our furniture he moved back in the house which he wasn't obligated to do. We couldn't be happier that we selected Jeff!!

Jeff Bretsnyder was very professional, kind and trustworthy. He did an excellent job on our floors and came in lower in price than most competitors. He helped up choose the stain (we went natural) and the finish (we used latex) and was incredibly patient and educated us on our choices as we went along. We were out of town and out of the house during this project (we had to move everything out to do the floors) and Jeff made sure our cat was fed and cared for, even feeding the fish once a day! I trusted him w/ our house keys. In the end, there was minimal dust (thank goodness) and this old house had new life breathed into it. I'd recommend Jeff and his company to anyone looking for a professional job on hardwood refinishing. We are very pleased w/ the outcome, and Jeff was a delight to work with.

Jeff was one of the best contractors we have worked with. He is professional, conscientious, on time, and honest, and his work is of a very high quality. On top of all that, he is very friendly and easy-going. Jeff had to remove old, cheap, wood parquet that was glued on, as well as carpet and ceramic tile. He did so quickly, then got right to installing the beautiful, new solid oak flooring. Our space was somewhat of a challenge (e.g., diagonal cuts where living room carpet, which remained, met the wood flooring; unlevel floor in kitchen), but Jeff stuck with it until he got it right down to the last detail. Jeff went beyond our expectations. Jeff was very reasonably priced. We bought our flooring through him; he did not push us and was willing to install any wood product we selected but we went with the product he sold and we were not disappointed - quite the opposite. It is gorgeous. His installation cost was much less than others with whom we checked. In summary, we feel we got the best service for the lowest price - how could you ask for more? Thank you, Jeff!

Jeff was prompt in his reply for an estimate. His estimate was lower than all other estimates. He was also busier than everyone and was not able to get to us as quickly, but that did not matter. He was able to get to us a day earlier than planned. He secured help and even moved the heavy pieces of furniture out of the room to the porch - and provided a heavy tarp to protect them while he completed the project. At the end of each day, he cleaned his work area and made sure it was safe (we have two dogs!) I don't know when I've seen a contractor work as neatly as he did. At the end of the project, he secured help again and moved our heavy furniture pieces back into the room - on a Sunday! What a help that was. In addition, the estimate did not go up - and he provided an authentic wood grate for a cold air return and three thresholds where the wood floor met vinyl or carpeting. Due to the fact that we do have pets, Jeff recommended we go with a satin floor finish in order to minimize seeing the scratches and dog fur. Our floor looks absolutely gorgeous! I would never have believed it would turn out as well as it did. Thank you Jeff!

Hardwood Floor Refinishing did an amazing job on the hardwood floors in my mother's house! The floors hadn't had anything done to them for over 45 years and had bad stains and a dull finish. Jeff was so easy to work with and worked us into his schedule, since we were trying to get the house on the market quickly. When the realtor saw the finished floors, she immediately wanted the contact information for this company, because of the quality of the work. I will definitely be getting a bid in the future for the hardwoods in my own home!

In business I believe in 1 rule, always do the right thing. Jeff lives by that rule in everything he did on our job. There was some defects in the sanding that I noticed and jeff didnt hesitate. He resanded the effected area to make it perfect even though it put him way behind schedule. He was often at our house till 9 pm trying to get the job finished. The floors. At the end he even tried to charge us less than what he quoted and I wouldnt except the discount because of the quality of work he had done. Top notch, I would recommend to anyone!

Jeff, along with Alex, did a fantastic job! Did exactly what was said, was on time and easy to coordinate subsequent visits; as refinishing hardwood floors takes longer than a day. The first day was sanding, and it was dust-free. Second day was coat 1, Day 2 was a coat 2 in the morning with coat 3 late afternoon, and Day 3 was coat 4 (final). The floors look awesome! We will definitely have the remaining floors and stairs done by Jeff in the near future.

The main reason that I selected Jeff was because he gave me some creative solutions to save money. He recommended that we simply do a buff and re-coat on a low traffic area. This saved me quite a bit and you can't tell the difference! He was very professional! His bid includes everything- including moving the furniture. He even threw in pads for under my tables and chairs so as not to scratch the floor. He gave me some additional advise on cleaning and maintaining the floors. Jeff will definitely be back for "phase II" of my house projects.
