+ -1 moreNothing. I did not want to leave negative feedback on Angie's List and if he'd just call me back and tell me he is overbooked and didn't have time to get to me, I'd respect that. But to setup to receive auto emails and phone calls through Angie's List, I expect a return communication. Also, he was (perhaps still is) offering a coupon through Angie's List, but I have not been successful getting in touch with him. From the reviews, he appears capable, but I cannot get return communication. I own four homes, three of them rentals so I have plenty of business available. Unfortunate.
Description of Work: I made contact with Davis Electric through the Angie's List make contact, email feature. I received an immediate reply, setting up the time and date to meet me for an estimate for several electric issues I have in a rental I just purchased. We were supposed to meet at 8 a.m. so I took off work and made arrangements for getting the kids to school. Contractor did not show up. After waiting 30 minutes, I called him. He forgot our appointment and stated he'd call later that afternoon. I didn't receive a return phone call that afternoon. I called him and no answer. Left a message, no return call. A couple days later, I contacted him through Angie's list email. Nothing. I called again, nothing. As a final try, I left a message stating that call me back or I was giving up.

Description of Work: I needed help with my rental property (big tree branch knocked off electrical housing on the house -- power went out) while I was away on vacation and Davis Electric was the only company to reply to me on a Saturday. Ash Davis was professional and kind, and showed genuine concern that my renters were without power. He acted quickly to determine the parts needed and went out the next morning to perform the services. He was professional, kind to my renters, and very reasonable with his pricing.

+ -1 moreWe have used Ash Davis' services before and have always been very satisfied. This was no exception. He arrived on time and was his usual friendly, good-humored, professional self. Since the servicing of the burned out motor was outsourced, he had to return a second day. But he did as much as he could on the first day. Since we had inherited the tub from the previous owners of our home, we knew very little about how to use it and maintain it. Ash spent quite a bit of time explaining things to us.
Description of Work: Serviced hot tub that had a burned out motor and a major leak. Put in new water pump and serviced the motor. Took care of accessible leak source. Additional leak source was not accessible because it required moving the hot tub.

I did not find him on Angie's list (he was referred to us by contractor who completed our barn) but I looked on Angie's list after the fact and saw he was listed so wrote this review in case someone else was looking for a quality electrician.
