Custom Tree Care Inc

I had hired Custom Tree Care last fall to cut and remove tree branches. They did a good job so I hired them again to remove several shrubs in my front yard.

NO SHOW. AFTER MANY DELAYS, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE.

Individual who came out to give the bid thoroughly explained what he would suggest doing and why. Gave me the cost before he left and gave several options of what we could do. Service was set up to be completed within a couple of weeks but they called after a few days and said they could fit us in the next day. Guys that performed the work were professional and very good at what they did. Total work was completed within 5 hours and they cleaned up very well after it was done.

They did a great job, A's for everything. I think only 2 people came out.

They took down a tree. I thought they were a little high on price. They took the tree down and then they trimmed some other trees. I liked that they had all the equipment that they needed to do the job.

They did a great job. They came out on short notice on a Saturday to get the limb off for us so we could cover the damage before the rains came on Sunday. Cleaned up all the mess from the tree before they left.

They did excellent work, were timely, good price, cleaned up the mess and hauled everything away. Couldn't have asked for better service.

They came out and gave an estimate, explaining the types of trees and what would be done to each tree. They understood that we wanted the trees to still provide shade, but not look like such a "forest." We were concerned that the neighbors' yards not be trampled on with machinery. They did not bring any machinery on the yard, but were able to climb the trees, thus avoiding any problems. They were on time and very professional, both with the estimate and the actual services provided. I would definitely recommend them.They were $300 more than another provider, but I felt they were more concerned about the trees and the service they would provide, so we went with them.

They went out of their way to help save the over 100 year old oak, and protect the house at the same time. Jack (I believe that is his name) was very knowledgable and offered suggestions for things we could do ourselves to help out the old tree.

Generally it went well. However, I had to call the owner to find out for sure when they would be out to do the job. I knew that we would wait a few weeks, as they were very busy. However, I would have liked to been kept up to date. The crew was very hard-working and concerned with taking care of our property. They cleaned up very well on one side of the house, but less well on the other two sides. They may have miscommunicated with my husband but I wasn't there at the time, so not sure. I suggest that consistent communication is essential. We would likely call them again if we have a need.

It went well. They were good. They got the work done. That's all I asked them to do.

Based on the recommendations of Angie's List I called and booked a date with this company. It was approximately a 2 week wait. I received a call the week that the service was to take place and was told they were busy with cleanup in Lawrence. It would be another week. I told the owner that I would shop around and call him if I found another company to perform the work. He called after a couple of days and said they would be able to come at the end of the following week. They arrived on the scheduled day. They did not begin work immediately as they performed maintenance or repair on their lift bucket unit. This took 30-45 minutes. Work commenced once the bucket lift was repaired. The crew that was on sight was very professional and worked steady until about 11:30 am. Three of the four man crew left and returned in about an hour. One person was left on site and continued to trim dead branches from cedar trees. When the others returned one individual used a rope and harness to do some trimming where the truck had no access. The others trimmed some other areas and took the brush to the chipper or stayed out of sight. The clean up was fairly good but some limbs were thrown over an embankment. My son and I picked this up, though I had inspected the previous day and missed it. After another inspection of the grounds we removed the debris ourselves. The professionalism and knowledge of the crew was excellent. In general I was satisfied.

Other than starting on the project without letting me know they were here, I have no qualms. Fast and professional service.

Custom Tree Care was not the lowest bid I received - but they seemed the most knowledgeable about suggesting trees to plant. They were punctual and very professional. I couldn't have asked for more.

It went very well. When I got the OK from my insurance company to remove the branch, I called up Custom Tree Care and told them about what had happened. I was amazed at the response time. They were at my house within 3 hours and had the branch removed and the debris removed within a couple of hours. They had the equipment to do the job right without further damaging my home. Thank you all so much!

. They did a very good job of working around flower beds and phone and power lines. Entire experience was professional and I was pleased with the work.

Professional company, very good work. Only issue is that because of their workload we had to wait almost 2 1/2 months before contracted services were provided.

they removed the trees as instructed and carried away the limbs and related trash. Very nice young people. Came in did their job and left. I will use them again.

They did ok, a good job. They were prompt, did a good job, detailed, and cleaned up well. I was satisfied. They give me ideas on what I should and should not do.

They're prompt. If not economical, they're at least reasonable. They do what they say they're going to do when they say they're going to do it.

A representative from the company came to give me a free consultation and estimate a few days after my initial phone call. When he arrived it was obvious he was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He was licensed and trained as an arborist in the state where I live. He even informed me the second tree I was going to have them trim belonged to the city and they would trim it for free. He also gave me some advice on what to look for in case the Ash tree contracted a disease that is currently affecting the species in the state where I live. He provided me the estimate and showed me a current copy of their full insurance coverage (which is critical in case someone was injured during the work). I informed him we had a sprinkler system and he assured me they would keep the heavy equipment off the lawn, which they did. I was so impressed not only with how great the tree looked, but with the clean up afterwards. There wasn't a single branch or leaf left in the front yard. In fact, I had trimmed some hedges on the side of the house the day prior to their work being completed. I had the hedge trimmings bundled and ready for me to take and dispose of them. To my surprise they collected the trimmings and disposed of them for me without my requesting them to do so. Great company! Great professional delivery of services! Very punctual and flexible with my schedule! I will definitely use them again in the future and have already recommended them to other friends.
