Description of Work: Removed two pine trees and a mulberry tree.

Description of Work: I had a tree fall from my yard on to my neighbors house. Not good. Brown's was the first place I called knowing that most people liked them. They came priced and it was good for what happened. My neighbor is who picked them for the tree removal and insurance paid him. While on site we ask them to do stump removal. They did a pretty good job, some of it was left but, if was a huge tree so I was ok with the work. My problems came later, billing uggg! I think it was a month later I received a call asking for my neighbors contact info. because it was "lost". Now I had a little 125 dollar job, but the 1000+ job they lost the paperwork on? So I was nice I gave her some of his info but not everything. About two monthes after that I get a voice mail from the same women SCREAMING at me TO PAY HER her 1000 dollars +. I contacted my insurance rep who stated they had paid out 90 days before that and had talk to Brown's a number of tims. This was not the best situation for anyone and I'm sorry it happened.

Description of Work: For tree service, we used Brown's Tree Service. They got rid of some tree stumps.

Description of Work: They were to remove trees and leave us the wood. They kept the wood and would not bring it back. They were to trim other trees and did such a bad job, Mr Brown made them redo it.

Description of Work: I needed dozens of honey locusts and some hedge trees and red cedars removed from our 54 acre property at the edges of pasture. So, I contacted Browns. Browns performs work for the city, and they outsourced this job to a person a hundred miles away who uses a special grinder device to grind the trees into small chunks rather than remove them. Browns did the original evaluation and estimate and contacted the person who did the work, which was a little bit of an unweildy process and required additional phone calls to to the person a hundred miles away whose equipment needed repair, necessitating a delay. Browns was very cooperative, but eventually, I found it easier to call directly the person who was to do the work and arrange the appointment. That person was very good, and the work was good, though not quite exactly as advertised, leaving many small pieces and tertiary branches and twigs of those trees on ground with thorns still in them, unlike the virtual sawdust that was described to me by the Brown's representative. Still, I could not beat the price by a long shot, and the service that actually did the work was reliable, friendly, and helpful, and I now have their contact information for future work. Overall, Brown's Tree Service was helpful, friendly, cooperative, and their reputation in our area is excellent. But on this job, they acted as intermediaries and did not actually do the work themselves.

Description of Work: 2 trees removed, 1 stump removed, general tree trimming throughout the yard.

Description of Work: Cut down one dead tree that had split down the middle and trimmed several large limbs off another tree so dead limbs wouldn't fall and cause damage/injury.

Description of Work: Lifted, thinned and trimmed up a large oak tree in our front yard.
