Great!

From start to finish, the entire job was perfect. We got several price quotes and Dusty was not the cheapest; but his experience, ideas and attitude convinced us that he was the expert. Dusty and his brother Derek, laced the new dining room hardwood into the exisiting floor and it's impossible to see that there is new flooring. After sanding he put down several stain colors for us to choose from; once we decided, he applied four coats of water based stain to the entire job. From start to finish, the work was completed in 5 days; dust from the sanding was minimal due to the fact that he masked off the living room and adjoining bedrooms with plastic sheeting. They were totally professional, on-time and returned phone calls.

It went very well and he seemed very knowledgeable. I asked him about his experience and how he got into this. I liked that. He's a local business and a local guy with a family business. I liked the fact that their Angie's List listing had photos of previous work.

We had 3 estimates done and were the most impressed by Dusty's knowledge and suggestions. He did our floors in two different times with a couple of weeks in between so that we were able to move all the furniture to the other area and not have to have it all moved out to a pod or something. They had taped off the unaffected areas with plastic and when they were finished the dust was not much more than a normal month worth's of dust. We are very happy with Dusty's work. He had one triangle piece at the top of the stairs that his vendor had cut to the wrong size so he had to have a new one ordered and so he didn't get it put in until the last day he was here. Unfortunately he had forgotten to round off the edge and we felt it needed another coat of polyurethane. I called Dusty the next week and he gladly came back the next day and finished off that piece. The wife (who has been pressing to have the floors refinished since we moved to this house 3 years ago) is estatic with the results! We would definately call Dusty again.

it was great. Dusty used low VOC waterbased finishes and after 24 hours there was no smell in the room , let alone the entire house. he was very professional, as was his assistant Derek. We are thrilled with their work!

Dusty and his crew were very professional in every way. They had to remove old carpet, level the floor and install the floor and two step treads. They did all in this in two days, cleaning up their mess afterward. The floor is beautiful and we're very happy with the results and the contractor.

Overall my experience with Dusty & his crew was very enjoyable & incredibly recommendable. Dusty returned my contact to set up an estimate which he was prompt on arrival. He spent ample time with me discussing my expectations of the job, what he & his crew would do, how long it would take them & what to expect of the outcome at the end. For example I had 2 or 3 areas that had been stained by pets from a previous owner as well another area that was heavily soiled by high traffic and another that had black adhesive stuck to it from laminate tiling in the entry way I had pulled up. Dusty took the time to explain that the soiled ares would need to be pulled out/replaced & let me know what the average cost of each board would be to give me an idea of total cost as we added up boards. He also informed me that the heavily soiled areas would likely come up with the standard sanding. Upon requesting Dusty take/complete the job he scheduled the work to be done. He tried to do me a favor by fitting it in earlier than I had planned but appropriately delayed that when he didn't think he could finish the job all at once - which I appreciated. Dusty & his crew showed up right on time & were quick, extremely professional, courteous of my home while they were here. They completed the job exactly when they said they would & there were no surprises at the end. All & all if I have a chance to refinish any more of my floors I will most certainly be contacting Dusty.

Dusty was very professional from the estimate through to finishing the work. He explained exactly what he planned to do, provided suggestions, and was thorough.

I was very pleased! I love my floors! Dusty was really good at answering all my many questions. (I had an unsatisfactory experience in the past with a hardwood floor company, but everything was good about this experience) I was concerned that the surface wouldn't be shiny enough for me, but he delivered what he promised, and the surface and the color are just what I requested. I had some pet urine damage, and needed some boards replaced. I was concerned that the replaced boards would look different than the original floor, but they fit right in. Dusty suggested quarter round to finish the floors, and I could choose the color of that also. He painted them the color of my baseboards, and I appreciated that I didn't have to finish that myself. They were prompt and they were neat and clean. They were great at keeping the dust from the sanding out of the rest of my house. It was a good experience.

It was great. They were very good about following through. They ran into some unforeseen difficulties and they helped me with those problems. I would recommend them to anybody. They were very great and I felt very comfortable having at my home.

I liked him the best out of all the ones that came out. Prices were comparable with every one. He is friendly, Trust worthy. He was prompt. It was easy to get him to come out for the estimate. He called me back right away. Was able to work with my schedule.

I was VERY lucky - I was able to call Dusty and he was able to start the next day. He was subsequently booked for the next month just about, so it worked out perfect for me. Dusty lost his day off though. He arrived on time - explained the job to me and was able to ward off my horrible PM who was fired from the job the following day. Dusty reminded me of what a good contractor does. They explain, let you watch, speak to you with respect and get the job done in a timely manner. His bid also did not change - he stated a price and that is what he charged me. He also agreed to put down the 1/4 round around the base boards and paint it for 243.00 which was much cheaper than the PM I had trusted/hired/fired the previous day. I would ABSOLUTELY hire Dusty for every single one of our rental/flip homes. I would also hire him in a heartbeat to come do our personal residence as well. He exceeded every expectation I had.

Don't let the youth of this contractor fool you. He's got incredible experience in the installation and refinishing of hardwood floors. He's the first that I called to quote and he'll be the only one that I'll ever call for hardwoods. We set up a schedule for the removal and installation. He was on time every day and finished on the day promised. Dusty went the extra distance that you won't necessarily get from the Big Box companies to make sure everything was right. He refinished any pre-existing wood that was scratched, adjusted a stairway rail to make sure that the floor fit up flush, cleaned up after himself every day and did a very professional job at an excellent price. I picked up his listing off another site on the internet. I got lucky. Use his services, you won't be disappointed. Price for labor AND materials to install new flooring and finish was $7 a square foot!
