Schiffelbein's were completely professional, their work was top-notch, they workmen were punctual and friendly, they explained the process for completing the work, and finished right on schedule. They were also able to start the work soon after they gave us the bid and we signed a contract. Their bid was $2000+ less than two other contractors who bid the job. The other contractors would have required us to wait until late summer or early fall to do the work. They did some extras we did not expect but were very happy with: 1) Removed sod along the sides of the driveway to lay the wood forms and then replaced it as they completed each section! Our neighbor's contractor removed the sod and left a trench along the completed driveway and sidewalk that he later had to fill and replant with grass -- and their contractor was one of the two who gave us a bid $2000 higher than Schiffelbein's bid! 2) The driveway and sidewalk were poured such that the yard is slightly lower than the surface of the driveway and sidewalk, so water will run off into the yard and not vice-versa. This will also make it much easier to shovel any snow that accumulates in the winter. 3) The color was perfect, a light gray as opposed to bright white, a more natural look. 4) After the driveway was finished, the owner stopped by to see if we were satisfied or had any questions, and also gave us some literature and tips on care and maintenance that we would not have known about. We are delighted with the finished product and the company who did the work.

A great experience, these guys are real pros and know their stuff. Randy and crew were very thorough and focused on doing quality work. Patiently answered all questions. Very attentive to details (like my wife's flowers). Would highly recommend!

They took their time, making sure everything was perfect. The driveway looks great. I'm extremely happy with the results and all the crew were very pleasant, polite and on time.

Randy did our patio two years earlier which we just love. Again we got bids from numerous contractor and he was not the lowest, but certainly not the highest. Our driveway was 40 ft long with a drop from garage floor to city sidewalk of only 3 inches. Proper draining was a serious consideration and with our experience of our patio two years earlier, we knew the professionalism of Schiffelbein was the best to handle this potential problem. They did such a good job that I know of at least two neighbors who are getting bids for their driveway replacement. Schiffelbein Concrete is the only one to do concrete work in my estimation. Randy is a wealth of ideas so ask him how he would do your job. Our patio that he completed two years ago would be much different if I didn't ask him for suggestions. His ideas made it more functional and beautiful.

Jerry was very responsive and was there when he said he would be. He talked over the options I had for how to do the driveway and then did just what we agreed to. My neighbor was so impressed she had him pour a small patio for them before he left the neighborhood and as a result she got a price break because his crew and equipment were already here.
