It was a class act job, very reasonable in price and considering how fast it was completed and after an explosion and fire in my home, they had me back in action to prepare for the holidays. Thank you to the Dultmeier Roofing Company and Merry Christmas to you and all of your employees!
Description of Work: The crew came in and put down a layer of shingles on my multi level home and back yard shed. They were WONDERFUL! Very fast, very efficient, very courteous. They asked questions, answered my questions, did a few little things for me that I'm unable to get on the roof to do. They came back and installed new guttering, leaf guards, downspouts in areas that had never had them before and that day was quickly installed, efficient and and absolutely terrific job. There was a problem with guttering on one area of the home that they pointed out to me. They offered me alternatives and we reached one. Jim and Lori are great to work with, they have an outstanding crew of gentlemen and I would highly recommend them anytime!

Description of Work: We met with Jim Dultmeier in the fall of 2011 for an estimate to replace our hail damaged roof. We stated our expectations and concerns such as a quality roof like the year old that would be replaced, preventing damage to our new gutters, air conditioner and landscape. We asked Mr. Dultmeier about ladder stand offs which are used at the top of ladders and go over the gutters so theladder does not come in contact with the gutter. He told us he had those. He agree to use his Roof Buggy only in the driveway not on the lawn. We accepted his proposal and signed a contract. We received none of the above. Ladders were placed on the gutters causing damage. The Roof Buggy was used on the lawncausing landscape damage. We were forced to protect our own air conditioner. Besides damage to our property we also received poor workmanship and defective shingles to our house. The roof will now have to be replaced again!!!!Mr. Dultmeier refused any compensation for damages, all we received was excuses and belligerent attitude. UPDATE: 8/22/12 We refute the claims made by the company below.

Dultmeier Roofing has done everything to correct all the members complaints on their 12/12 pitch roofing project in June of 2012, obviously to no avail. - The member, unbeknowst to the member, agreed to have roofing buggy on lawn. He even tried to figure out a way to get the buggy into the back yard by taking gate down, but I told him the crew would be fine dragging the debri out of the back yard. All landscaping was in perfect order when finished with roofing job, with the exeption of 1 daylilly. - Gutters were throughly checked with the member, and no damage was found. If so, we fix immediately. - Workmanship was done correctly. - Shingles did have a color blend problem, which has been rectified and completely compensated by a Tamko Roofing repesentative, whom we met with personally to make sure the members were taken care of. The members are in possesion of labor and shingle certificates for a new roof and already have another company scheduled to do work. - 1 daylilly and handle on hose reel have been paid for by Dultmeier Roofing. - We stand by our mission statement - "We are there before, during, and after your roofing project" and are sorry the members have been troubled with having to have their roof replaced again because of the color blend problem. Frustrating as it may be for them, we have made sure that they have been taken care of through Tamko Roofing Company. Any attitude on our part was mere frustration in trying to remedy the situation to the members satifaction.

Dultmeier is a family-owned company that has operated in the Topeka vicinity for many years. They were recommended by several people we know. Our insurance company's initial estimate was a little lower than Dultmeier's bid. Lori and Jim Dultmeier met with an insurance company estimator at our home and reviewed the measurements and estimates. The matter was quickly resolved in favor or Dultmeier's bid. The work was completed during April, as originally promised. The roof and gutters look great and the workers did a good job of clean up. Lori and Jim Dultmeier are friendly and very capable.
Description of Work: Dultmeier Roofing removed one layer of shingles, installed impact resistant shingles, new pipe flashings, vents, and metal edging. They also removed and replaced all gutters and downspouts. This work was performed on a roof with numerous gables and valleys.

The new guttering was within $400 of what the insurance company had prescribed. I would use them again in the future if needed.
Description of Work: I used Dultmeier Roofing to put on a whole new roof including gutters.

Jim Dultmeier was recommended to us by our realtor, and we were not disappointed in the least. The estimate was detailed and accurate, the work crew was polite and professional and flexible. One section of our roof has no attic access from inside, so we asked the foreman if we could blow insulation in while they had that section open, and he was very accommodating; some of the crew even helped with the insulation at no extra charge. We also bought some extra roofing materials from them, to redo our garage roof later, ourselves. The job was done well and quickly; within a few days we had a new roof, and no stray materials or nails in the yard.
Description of Work: Replaced roof, which included tearing off four layers of old tiles and re-sheeting.
