He comes with 20+ years of experience and has a commitment to the high standards of a professional in EVERY aspect of his work; that's something we did not experience with other and quot;big nameand quot; companies in this market space that do have the expertise but lack in professionalism. Whether it was making sure that he respected our home, or explaining and showing us why the leak was occurring and the correct way to address it, or being responsive to our phone calls, or having an extensive knowledge of techniques and products to resolve the problems, Mike was a professional in every sense of the word. He completely rebuilt our shower floor at a price that was much better than the and quot;big nameand quot; companies. The bottom line is that Mike is a professional that we would trust completely again. Although contractors make up his customer base right now, I expect Mike's business to grow rapidly once the home owner's market become aware of him.
Description of Work: Installed in new tile floor in a second floor master bedroom large walk-in European shower to in order stop a chronic and severe leaking problem.

+ -1 moreWe were very pleased with the work he did on all three jobs in our home. Everything turned out beautifully! Mike Miller always arrived on time and cleaned up when he was done for that day. He has been doing tile work for 20 years and is very talented and meticulous in his work. He does the job right. He is also very knowledgable about materials and techniques that home builders are currently using and can design a beautiful plan for any area of your home. We plan on replacing my daughter's fiberglass shower with a tiled one in the near future and will certainly be using Mike Miller for that job as well. He does excellent work and is very fair and honest. We highly recommend Mike Miller with Miller Tile and Stone to other Angie's List members as well as family and friends.
Description of Work: We have used Miller Tile and Stone on three different occasions. The first time we replaced carpet in both of our daughters' bathrooms with beautiful porcelain tile flooring. Mike Miller ripped out the carpet and installed a subfloor before installing the tile. We also used Miller Tile and Stone to upgrade the backsplash in our kitchen when we installed granite counter tops. We had no idea what we wanted! Mike suggested natural stone tile with a tiger eye mosaic accent and installed it in a diamond pattern. It turned out beautifully! We most recently used Miller Tile and Stone for our master bathroom remodel. We were tired of the carpeted floors and boring white builder tile around the jacuzzi tub and in the shower. Mike Miller ripped out all of the carpet, installed a subfloor, and laid beautiful porcelain tile in a brick pattern. He also ripped out our ugly fiberglass shower and white tiles and created a gorgeous porcelain tile shower with seat, shampoo shelves, mosaic tile border, and modern glass doors. He also retiled around the jacuzzi tub and installed the mosaic border there as well. Our master bath now looks like a spa!
