Went very well

The contractor gave us a fair price by matching the lowest bidder and did the work in a timely manner. They arrived on time and did the job correctly. The only issue came up was the worker didn't tape our walls for prior to staining the stairs, but did tape off the walls prior to putting the finishing on. Probably the worker was in a hurry because our job was small. This really wasn't a major concern because our we had to add another coat of paint on our walls anyhow. We did identify several spots on the stairs after the staining that needed to be redone and Dan's team fixed those without any issue. Overall: I would make sure they tape everything prior to staining to prevent extra work. But, I will likely hire them again when we redo our kitchen floors, very easy to work with and showed up when they said they would.

They are very good, responded to my call well, looked at what I needed to get done, gave me solutions, and got it done in the trime frame they said. They respond well to requests.

The work turned out great. I love working with him. Dan, the owner, is very nice and helpful. He provides lots of suggestions. He is very clean, and he has cleaned up every time. The employees were very nice and capable.

I had just purchased a foreclosure that was pretty trashed inside. The carpets were old and dirty. Since the house was built in 1936, I wanted to take it back to its original condition. When I pulled the carpet up, I was overwhelmed by the old pet smell. Consequently, I set about trying to find flooring companies and obtaining bids. I found European Floors online. Their bid seemed the most fair and Dan was absolutely the most personable and knowledgeable of all the people who gave me estimates. Dan and his crew started right away. When the neighbors saw the truck in the driveway, they made a point of coming over and sharing that they had used European Floors and thought very highly of them. They removed the old carpet and found extensive pet damage to all the floors that were being redone. It was devastating to me, but Dan reassured me and told me that he would try to get the stains up with bleach compound and sanding. He did tell me up front that my idea of natural wood was unrealistic and that I should seriously consider stain. He took his time with me, showing me samples of the different stain and sharing his expert advice on what would look best in my home. Once the color was decided upon, his crew set to work. The workmanship was fast, efficient, and clean. The floors looked incredible! My friends could not believe how well the floors turned out after seeing what we started with. Even with the extra work of extensive bleaching, I was charged the original bid amount.

See above. It went quite well. I had this same floor done 10 years ago. With the new equipment it isn't nearly as messy as before. They didn't even have to remove the toliet. You can't tell.
