Description of Work: He was hired to re-seal and stain my pool deck. He assured me he had experience with my specific situation. He was not punctual, kept delaying start date. I was in a hurry to close our pool & his delay caused me to run my pool longer than necessary. He showed up and put his product on my pool deck and it was very obvious he had never done this before. The pool deck had not been prepped properly & the stained seal pooled on top of the deck. He told me he would have to do some research and get back to me. He took my $700 deposit and refused to refund it because he had to buy the products. He was the one that was confident his product would work & it was apparent after he started the work that he had never used such product. I never saw my deposit again. He goes by a number of different alias'. Buyer beware. A quick search on Johnson County court records reveals many civil and criminal charges.

+ -1 moreACW (which stands for All Concrete Work) is a wonderful family-owned business that conducts itself the old fashioned way: timely communications, personal attention to detail and great workmanship. Wow!. They immediately contacted me after I emailed them, set up a same-day appointment to view the project site and prepared a detailed estimate/bid which was emailed to me within a couple hours. I received 3-4 bids and ACW was about 5-10% cheaper than the others but I chose them not on price but because I had a lot of confidence in them. In fact, theirs was the last bid and before I even got the price, I had decided to go with ACW as long as their price was not more than 20% higher. To my surprise, they had the low bid. They started the job the next day and completed it to my total satisfaction. The job site was cleaned up and they did everything they promised. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone. In fact, I am considering building a garage and if I do I will use ACW to do the foundation and concrete floor. Please support this wonderful local company
Description of Work: The project was to widen a concrete driveway and involved digging out the sod/dirt, prepping the area, and pouring a 6" reinforced concrete slab, tied into the existing driveway. All work was performed in a single day.
