He was excellent. What we asked for happened.

This provider came to our home to provide a sketch and price for our bathroom remodel. He was very nice and expounded on his expertise, but lacked follow through. He finally provided a sketch of some cabinetry, but never provided the "sketch" of the bathroom. The estimated prices were very high. Felt this was not worth the money we paid, whatever it was. Cannot remember the amount for sure but think it was $75..

Well, All Under One Roof came out and they promised to send us an estimate and we didn't get it for several weeks and when we did, it wasn't complete. We didn't go with them. He was about an hour late if not more and promised that he would have it to me in a week and we didn't get it for several weeks and like I said it wasn't complete when we did get it.

Pretty well. Enjoying it very much this summer.

We were not happy with them. We were recommended them by a fence company that knew the person and he had too many different people underneath him. Their bid ended up being $17000 higher than any other bid we got and it was just ridiculous. They quoted us $52000. He was late the first time he was supposed to come here. He responded to my husband’s emails.

The experience with All Under One Roof was good. They were very friendly. The guy came out and explained what they could do and what had to be replaced on the deck. They responded within a week of my calling. The quote was very thorough. He wrote it down, what it would be for everything and gave me a copy.

Thorough planning and great attention to detail. I am very pleased overall.

We discussed a design and they did everything they said they would do. They did want to do some things beyond what I wanted done, but the service went well overall.

I have used them two or three times. Their service was superb. They were on time. They were very polite, courteous and extremely focused on the job. I did several competition bids on it and I find them to be the most competitive price wise and it turned out from the quality point of view, I was amply rewarded.

Overall, the job went fine. I'm sorry that I can't say it was perfect, but it was fine - It looks nice & we're happy we did it. Bryan came over & I showed him what I wanted done - Removing the existing door, closing that space up with drywall & trimming where necessary, Opening up the existing interior wall between rooms & installing a glass-paned french door, moving electrical where needed and trimming everything out on both sides. His estimate was good & I had used Bryan's company before, so I hired him. Bryan has always been super friendly & professional with me, so I trusted that everything would be great. The materials were then delivered & I received a call from another contractor - Jim Marley, who said Bryan had hired him to do the work. I was surprised because Bryan hadn't mentioned subcontracting to me. The guys with Jim did a nice job - but there were a few glitches. They forgot about moving the light switch from next to the old door to next to the new doors. By the time they thought of it & called an electrician, they had already closed in the old door, so the electrician said it could no longer be done. I thought they really should have offered to take some of the drywall back down & run the wiring through - but it would have been my extra expense, which I didn't appreciate. We now have to go into the room quite a ways to turn the light on or off - it's a pain. They also had asked me if the french doors could be slightly off-center - they explained that it would be much easier because of outlet replacement & vents & such. I told them that I was okay with that, but that I wanted the doors to be able to open up, and lay open against the wall on the living area side of the basement. After the work was completed & I had finished my part - the painting of everything, I opened the doors & found that the right side could not be opened to lay flat against the wall, because it was about 2 inches too close to the adjoining wall! I was completely ticked off, but the work was done. I also probably should add that I wasn't completely happy with the drywall finishing either - I can tell where the "patching" was done & I regretted not doing the work myself - I hate doing it, but I know that I personally have done better finishing, so I was sad I'd wasted my money. I really felt that Bryan had kind of failed me. It all looks okay - but I'm a perfectionist & this job didn't get me there. I would probably hire them again, but not for a job with detailed finishing.

Started out great, Bryan was prompt and enthusiastic. I had a specific design concept in mind, and Bryan was able to sketch it out, as well as suggest modifications that would ultimately save me money in lumber, etc. We hit a very rough patch in the middle, as the actual project start was delayed several months... Bryan admitted he was behind on other projects and the exceptionally hot summer made it difficult to do quality work quickly. My patience wore pretty thin as the weeks ticked by without the deck being started, and I think I ruffled Bryan's professional feathers when I called for him to "fish or cut bait." As I stated, he made such a great impression in the beginning, and I didn't want the project to ruin my professional opinion of him. He reacted quickly, and we've been on the right track ever since. I rated this company a "C" in punctuality. I want to make it clear, however, that Bryan is VERY prompt in returning phone calls/ emails... it's just that the actual project took so long. Once the project got underway, it was slow-- several neighbors made comments about how long it was taking to get the deck completed. The lead carpenter on this job knew his stuff, but I'm not sure the day laborer sent to help was really contributing much at all. I came by to check on them, unannounced, several times during the project, and sure enough-- always break time. When the project was done, the site was mostly clean, I found a couple of stray items on walk-through, but Bryan had them cleaned up right away. All of that having been said, the finished project is stunning. Absolutely stunning. Two additional testaments: I had a different carpenter working on a window seat inside my house, and he said the deck was sturdy and well-built. He called it a "twenty-year deck." Secondly, I had an inspector looking for a possible leak in my siding, and he actually called me at work to ask who did the deck, because it was one of the best he's seen in a long time. My neighbors, after a lot of grief about the time it took to actually get the project done, admit it was worth the wait. Sadly, because of the delay in the start of the project, the staining didn't take place until late in the fall. I do look forward to bringing the outdoor furniture out of the basement in the spring for my friends and family to enjoy for many years to come!

They had some timing trouble and unable to start on time. Materials were delivered on time and would have been left out in the rain without them if we hadn't covered them to protect them. They assured us they would personally inspect all the materials to chose the very best. We were at work much of the time so only saw them coming and going. Never did see the supervisor/owner but did talk with him several times. Given the timing problem talked with him a few times and he was mildly disgruntled but assured us where we were in line to get the work done. Once started we had some questions about the quality of the wood, supports for under the rails, and the stain. The owner was defensive and resistant to discussion. We talked with our previous company who came out and did some touch up work. Since then we have found some concerns with how the posts were attached to the new cement footings, poor workmanship attaching facing boards which are allowing debrie and water to sit between them and the main deck, and found obvious areas they had missed when staining. We did not contact them again about our concerns based on how they had responded during the time the work was being done. Disappointed. Will not use them again.

We appreciated the exact specifications for the work, but we did not feel that they were worth the $75 that we had paid...especially since we didn't get any detailed drawings!

We ended up not using them to build the patio. They just provided the plans. We didn't used them because of the prices.

They came out on time and gave me a verbal estimate for the wrought iron handrails. . They then sent me a written estimate which was very close to the verbal estimate. There was a three week wait for the handrails because they were being custom made. They staff installed the handrails very quickly. They did an excellent job. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Bryan Delap came to my home, took some measurements and left. I told him all I wanted was a sketch with dimensions that included a floor plan of the kitchen with cabinets/countertop locations. Since I was not interested in him actually performing a remodel, he told me he was going to have a third person contact me about what I wanted. I never heard from anyone again after that first meeting. I travel often for business so I do not have the time to constantly try to contact someone to provide the service I prepaid for nor do I believe it is my responsibility. I am the customer, "Angie's List" has the records showing I paid for a service so it should be between "Angie' List" and "All Under One Roof" to assure I am satisfied, not me having to contact someone to make myself happy. I did not get my money's worth, would prefer a refund. I am not interested in having someone come to my home again about this topic. I don't think this contractor provided any type of service let alone one that could be rated.

We had a terrible time recieving the design from him after the initial contact. We were told that he had so many responses for the big deal, that it would take him a long time to get to us. I had to eventually get a refund.

The workmen were very polite and professional. They explained their construction techniques to me and asked me for my preferences where options existed. The quality of my new deck is excellent; much better than the deck they replaced. I have elected to do my own staining, and they have given me advice about the best products to use and when to do the staining. The deck is beautiful. I couldn't be more satisfied with their work.

All Under One Roof is honest and reliable. They are very particular about the work. I will be using them to install windows in my home.

It was awesome work and we feel very highly for them. He always comes through with his promises and has never left us hanging, and I am pleased with his service. He builds decks and patios and does bathrooms and kitchens and so forth. They are general contractors for home business improvements. I have referred him to people who have done work with him since. People who were knowledgeable about that kind of work have told me that they were impressed with the work and their eyes opened when they heard the price. They thought that it was a steal, considering the quality of the work.

They did a quality job and I liked them. I will use them in the future if I need to.

I really liked them. The estimate was around $16000 for labor and parts. They were very responsive. I probably will use them.

The estimate was fine but we haven't done anything with it. He told us that he wasn't going to be the cheapest and he wasn't, but he was very thorough. He was very timely and came very quickly after we called. We would prefer a lower price.
