Description of Work: He came to my house and said that he could do what I asking to have done, remodel my kitchen. He took some brief notes and then said he would get several people to come out and do the specific bids and design I needed. He mentioned that Angie's List was upset with him because they didn't understand that you couldn't do these things in a hurry. I never heard from him again. No one ever called or offered to refund any money. Do I get my money back because I never received the service I asked for? I have not gone with a lot of the big deals Angie's List offers because of this experience.

Description of Work: NONE! I purchased the deal of the day. Called to set up appointment with Bryan, no problem. When he arrived (1 1/2 hours late - no phone call) he stated he tried to call but had the wrong phone number. I gave him the correct phone number and he wrote it down. I had him look at both my kitchen and bathroom because of planned renovations we wanted to make. He stated they actually DID NOT draw up sketches for potential customers. They just came out and saw what the customer planned to renovate and they would get back to them with an estimate. I was very disappointed he did not draw up a sketch or bother to ask what we wanted in the renovations. He left after ten minutes and I have not heard from him since (June, 2012) I believe I'm due a refund from this company since they didn't do anything but come out and only spend ten minutes. Angie, please help!

+ -1 moreWe chose not to go with them because of the timing. We probably will use them in the spring. We just decided to wait until spring to get the job done. It was nothing on their part. The owner was just knowledgeable and he was a good communicator. Some people show up and you can just tell they are bad when they show up. He was not that. He was very positive. That is the great first impression.

+ -1 moreThe deck and porch look great. The workmanship was just unbelievable. I had some issues because there were a lot of changes. We ended up working it out. It did not work out as well as I had hoped, but we did work out the details. The guy and the crew did impeccable work. I spent about $40000 on the job. It was a big project. They gave a lot of attention to detail. I noticed the detail that they put into their work. I have done a lot of construction work myself. One of the guys that they had was a lead carpenter. He put in a lot of detailing into the work. They did not take shortcuts anywhere. The only thing that bothered me was that they let things go lose for sometime and that was the time when tension had built up between us. They did not give me the price right away. If they had taken care of that, then, it would have worked out a whole lot better. They were neither the most expensive nor the cheapest. They were top notch when it came to responsiveness and quality. I will use them again in the future.

The total time involved to complete this project, along with all costs associated with it, were at or below their proposal.
