Vern fixed two problems in our irrigation box and performed the winterization of our system. Best value we've had in lawn sprinkler/irrigation. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for upkeep or repair on their system.

If you have a lawn and landscape irrigation system you will benefit a great deal by knowing Vern Maier, Principal of Vern's Help U Do It Sprinklers. In my opinion, Vern has a superior knowledge base. He is also a nice man always eager to help.Per his web site suggestion I tested my household water pressure last year and found it to be too high. I installed a pressure regulator, as the web site suggested, and it solved many problems we were putting up with in the house. I invited Vern to my property to help us identify and eliminate a persistent hammering noise which was highly audible in the house when our irrigation system operated. In a few minutes on site he told me the water meter was the likely culprit. In a short time the meter was replaced by my water provider and the system then operated silently. Vern could have created a big bill doing things to find and eliminate the problem but he isn't that kind of guy. He quickly told me the source of the problem and that was that. I think this speaks to his honesty. He said there would be no charge so we made a gift to him of $25. As it turned out that was money very well spent. We look forward to doing more business with Vern whenever we need irrigation parts or service.

We were charged originally because we had never used them before. He was a good worker and very polite. I thought he did a great job and he was very thorough. He came when he said that he was going to.

Vern did an outstanding job. He did very good quality work and was very efficient. He recommended us to have him out to shut down the system in the Fall and restart again in the Spring. We plan to use Vern for all our sprinkler needs. I highly recommend using Vern. He charges reasonable rates ($75/hr. plus parts).
