Their insect treatment is very good. So now I have more lawn and fewer weeds. There has been significant improvement and this is a very long process. Their customer service is good and I was impressed when the supervisor brought me the invoice when the technician forgot to get it. There was significant improvement in the appearance of the lawn. They answer the questions well and they seem to be well informed.

I had them do some landscaping last summer. Cost approx. $1,300. I requested 17 bushes --- 15 in front and 2 in back yard. 15 in front are very --- two in back have been replaced 3 times. TruGreen stated they had done soil treatments, etc. But then they accused me of not watering the plants. I'm puzzled as to why I would water 15 in front and let the 2 in back die---3 times. The manager, David Alexander, was unprofessional and belittling to the point of showing me how to water the shrubs. To follow up with the service over the winter, I've called twice this year and have sent 5 emails----no response at all.Very unprofessional and quite frankly rude. I had saved up for the landscaping and I made a very bad decision in selecting TruGreen. I would highly recommend this comany not be used.

Service was good, but last fall (2008) I decided I'd do the work myself to save money. I told TruGreen that. They have called me repeatedly to try to get me to start up again. This time I said no twice, but said I'd consider them again in the fall, after seeing how this year on my own went. They then apologized "for using reason" as an argument. That made me so mad, I've decided to stop using them for good!

I have an annual contract with them which gives me 7 applications throughout the year. I am very pleased with their services; always on time and always have answered any questions I have had. I will definitely continue to use them.

Called in late August, 2007 regarding areation or vertislicing and overseeding. I was very clear on what we wanted done and by when, since the overseeding needed to be complete in early fall for best results. I decided to accept an offer for a regular fertilizer treatment because the cost was less than what I would have spent on materials. Initial treatment was done promptly but invoiced prie did not match the quoted offer, which was confirmed by a third party in customer service or accounting at the company, not the salesperson. When I called, they told me to pay the quoted price but they wouldn't send a corrected invoice. Two weeks after payment I received a balance due invoice. Meanwhile, they did not perform the aeration or overseeding to schedule. When I called the manager claimed they were backlogged and he could not promise when the service would be completed. He also attempted a hard sell to purchase other services. I decided I couldn't trust the representatives to meet their obligations for service or quoted price and terminated the service.

So-so. My yard isn't the nicest in the neighborhood, so I wanted to get some help this year. I responded to a mail solicitation. Got the sales pitch on how TruGreen was more affordable by Ryan and better than other services, so I committed for the summer. TruGreen periodically sprays the lawn, leaves a note on the front door advising of what they've done. I haven't been overly impressed. I don't see any effect of the fertilization. The lawn isn't any greener or lusher than it was last year. When I asked about it, I was told that I really needed to aerate & reseed in the fall, for about $500. With respect to weed control, large areas of the yard have been relatively weed-free, but I routinely find dandelions and weeds around the perimeter and fence line, and the area between the sidewalk & street is full of weeds. They will come out & re-treat upon request. Worst part is they CONSTANTLY call to hard-sell other EXPENSIVE services, such as spider control, mites, grubs, etc.

We called pretty much at the last minute on a Friday because we realized that we needed to treat the lawn right away, and the best time was when our two hounds would be gone the next day, Saturday. We'd set them up for a visit to the vet for flea baths. The representative was very polite and understanding. I believe this was the branch manager, Kelly Carlson. They told me they'd be able to do it - the others I called couldn't/wouldn't and I called several. They were out as promised, treated the lawn - front, back and sides. They recommended a second visit the next month and I agreed to that, asking they be sure to call the day before we're scheduled so we can keep the hounds in. They did that as promised. For the rest of the summer, we didn't have any further issues with fleas. Thankfully! The company has not telemarketed to me, but did do a follow-up call after the first treatment.

We never knew what day they would be servicing our lawn until we returned home in the evenings. Very punctual on getting the bills out to us. We cancelled this service after 2 applications.

THEY COME AND FERTILIZE THE LAWN AND APPLY INSECT CONTROL AROUND THE HOUSE AND FRONT YARD. THEY ARE EFFICIENT, ON TIME AND ALSO DO EXTRAS LIKE POWER RAKING, AERATING, OVERSEEDING, ETC.

WE HAVE USED THEM MANY YEARS. THEY COME QUICKLY IF CALLED WITH A SPECIFIC PROBLEM.

THEY ARE POLITE, DEPENDABLE AND IF NECESSARY WILL RE-SPRAY IF NEEDED.

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS FRIENDLY. THEY WERE ABLE AND WILLING TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I HAD. SERVICE WAS DONE POLITELY AND IN THE MORNING. WORK IS GUARANTEED.

PROACTIVE AND WILL GIVE SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO IMPROVE THE YARD. TOO AGGRESSIVE IN ADDING ADDITIONAL SERVICES.

THIS WAS THE BEST THING WE'VE DONE IN OUR YARD. IT EVEN GOT RID OF SPIDERS AND WE HAD A BUNCH!

THEY DO A GOOD JOB OF CALLING AHEAD, BECAUSE WE HAVE PETS. THEY ALWAYS LEAVE A SIGN IN THE YARD TO REMIND US OF SERVICE.

TIMELY APPLICATION PLAN. COURTEOUS. USUALLY CALLS PRIOR TO APPLICATION.

THE FOLKS AT TRUEGREEN WERE VERY QUICK TO RESPOND TO MY PHONE CALLS FOR INFORMATION. THEY WERE ALSO VERY QUICK TO RESPOND IF I NEEDED THEM TO COME BACK AND TREAT THE LAWN FOR BROADLEAF WEEDS, ETC. THEY WERE POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL.

CALLS AHEAD TO TELL US WHEN THEY ARE COMING. IS RELIABLE AND PUNCTUAL. LAWN LOOKS EXCELLENT SO THEY MUST BE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT. WILL RETREAT LAWN AND TREES AT NO CHARGE WHEN ASKED WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM.

THEY ARE PROMPT, COURTEOUS, EFFICIENT AND THEY HAVE KEPT MY LAWN IN TIP TOP SHAPE FOR OVER 3 YEARS.

SHOWS UP ON DAY THAT IS SCHEDULED. CALLS EVENING BEFORE. LOCKS GATES ON FENCE WHEN DONE.

WHEN THEY CAME THEY GO OVER YOUR YARD WAY TO FAST. DIDN'T SEEM TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE ON THE YARD. MY HUSBAND WAS STILL PULLING WEEDS.

PERFORMED TASKS IN A TIMELY MANNER. ALWAYS CALLED BEFORE COMING OUT THE FOLLOWING DAY. PERSONNEL WERE ALWAYS COURTEOUS AND PROVIDED ADVICE ABOUT CUTTING AND WATERING.
