Ryan Lawn & Tree

I had been a part of the annual yard program for several years but I chose to not re-enroll this year due to other work the company had done. Without notice, Ryan Lawn Tree came to my house while I was at work and did some work. When I notified the company that this work was never authorized, the only reply was from the technician who left me a voice mail saying that you have to actively say "do not come again" in order to not be automatically charged year after year. Meanwhile, there are no communications saying "let us know that you do not want to enroll by x date or we will come regardless", which is the minimal ethical option.

They are doing a very good job for us and we would highly recommend them.

1st year had the vericutting and several treatments-did good. The 2nd year had re-occurring problems with weeds, nut grass, and other issues-didn't get resolved and became worse. I was billed for a service I didn't request one week after the one I did ask for. Too forever to get this charge credited back, the office staff didn't believe me that I didn't ask for it. My rep was getting very slow in returning my calls, and always wanted to sell me another service, instead of treating the route of the problems. Also got a Senior discount the 1st 3 services, but that went away-would only offer a 5% discount if I signed you for a yearly package. My yard looks terrible compared to my neighbors.

They use the same college educated technicians that know what they are doing and can diagnose problems. They complete the service in less than 30 minutes. They have very good communication. They always leave a written diagnosis or observation.

It's a continuing contract. They come throughout the year.

They are suppose to be here tomorrow to prune the trees. They were the best on the write up and they were very close in price with another company. I really like the way they wrote up the proposal for the tree trimming, lots of details, didn't miss anything, and didn't really leave any questions to what needed to be done. That was really the deciding factor. I had two that were really close and the other estimate was written with a good bit of detail but missed one little thing, plus I see Ryan out working at my neighbors on occasion so I was more familiar with the name. I got 3 estimates and they were all almost identical price wise to one of the others and the third one was higher. We didn't have a preset time to get the work done.

Yard looks great. I really can't complain about the service.

They were on time, were friendly and courteous, took care of coordinating the disconnect/reconnect of the electrical, cleaned up all branches, twigs in my yard and my neighbors. Did a great job!

I've used Ryan lawn and tree for about 15 years with 2 different homes. They have always been pricey but worth the money until recently. The gentleman whom does the trees called and asked if he could spray the spring fertilizer on them. I said yes for the crabapple. Well, he did the gardens and the fir trees. My elderly father stepped outside to see what he was doing, it was 28 degrees out. The gentleman said he was supposed to spray junipers but couldn't find any so sprayed the firs instead. We've never had the firs sprayed before. He even asked if he had the right house. Then proceeded to say how cold it was. My dad is 87 and out without a coat. When I called to cancel our services, the man who answered the phone kept overtalking me and interrupting. Needless to say, we won't be using this company again. They always have religious references on their paperwork they send out, I think maybe they should have their employees read them too. Bye bye Ryan's

Because they are expensive. Ryan is absolutely the best at everything they do they just charge a lot for everything they do. It's very [09:19] always the highest price you can get bids on stuff they are always the highest bid but they do exceptionally consistently good work always

I've been with them over 20 years and my yard always looks tremendous. When they come out to do their quarterly treatment, I always get a note on the door saying what they've done and whether or not I need to water it down or not. It's a really good company. I would absolutely continue to use them in the future.
