Raynor Garage Doors of Kansas City

Company is a scam. My wife called, they didn't look at the key pad. Looked at motor instead using only a flashlight. Claimed the board was fried and that the whole thing needed to be replaced, even though it still worked. (lights came on, garage door opened, ect) quoted $1015.00 replacement, and had to act within 7 days or it would be more. Charged $110.00 for this "service". I called to complain twice, eventually was told I would only be charged $50.00 because they charged me for the wrong thing. The issue? a dead battery and a reset, that I did myself. I was told I would get a refund, shall see if that is true. This company saw my wife as a mark and tried to take advantage of her. Do not use this company.

The serviceman was prompt, polite and very helpful. The broken spring that was replaced was not near the quality of the new replacement. I have no doubt this one will last much longer! I would recommend Raynor.

The installation went well. Had a few issues which were taken care of when pointed out. We had some custom work done on our doors so it took a little longer to get them then I'd like but it was worth the wait. the doors are light and are insulated.

great product and installation thus far. communication was a little less than ideal but we were trying to juggle their availability with our work schedule.

We were very happy with them. At first they put the wrong door in but they were very quick to replace them.

Call 1. During the summer, my door came off the tracks. Raynor came out and fixed the door immediately. Service was great. Call 2. 3 months later, the door would not lift up all the way. Raynor came out and replaced the computer board in door opener. Call 3. 2 months later. The door would stop about a foot off from the floor. We waited a about week for Raynor to come out. The technician adjusted the opener but said that our opener was undersized and that we should consider getting a larger motor or replace our old wood door. I thought this was odd since we have had the opener for a couple years. Call 4. One of the springs just broke. I decided to call another company. It would seem that the springs were probably going bad and that might of been the problem at least based on my second opinion. check out this link [*** Link removed ***] It appears that Raynor has a good service record and maybe it was just bad luck for them. But it is concerning that I have to make another service call, when the problem could of been diagnosed before. Makes me wonder if my computer board was really bad.

Perfect! From the salesman to the installers, they were prompt, polite, competent and professional. Their price was the lowest for the same quality of garage door offered by others. I would highly recommend them!

My garage door was completely stuck midway with my car in the garage - so I couldn't get to work. I called Raynor at 7am and they had a guy at my home in about 1 hour. He replaced 2 spring and a couple other parts that got bent when the spring broke and it works great now. I was at work by 9. Couldn't have been happier with their service, experience, and professionalism. I will definitely call them again.

I called the office at 8:00 am and asked for a repair on a garage door that had been backed into with a car. They had a technician in the area and were at my door within 2 hours. He looked the door over and said the bottom panel needed to be replaced, but he has to check and see if the manufacturer even makes the panel any more as the door is close to 25 years old. He repaired the panel good enough to be able to open and close the door with the garage door opener. He said I will receive a call from their office regarding the replacement panel. Technician was very professional and courteous. Definitely will use them again!

Technician was prompt. He diagnosed the issue and recommended we replace both springs, not just the broken one, but left the decision up to us. The work was done fast and affordably

Had to replace an extension spring on one door. Spring had not quite broken but was extremely stretched out. Decided it might bewise to go ahead and replace both springs. Weather stripping on both doors was old and no longer sealing well. Repairman came out and replaced springs but brought out wrong type of weatherstripping for my doors. Material had to be reordered and the work was completed a couple days later, just in time to beat the latest Polar Vortex. Everything seems to be working well.

The estimate was timely and thorough. The installation was just as smooth. The work was done on time and with no issues. I highly recommend Raynor Garage Doors.

They did an excellent job. I've used them before. I asked for a certain worker. He's real good and does a good job. He tells you what he's going to do and he charges you just what he said he was going to. He's a good man. They're a good company. If they tell you they're going to be there, they're there. They do good stuff, all the way around. Everything went fine. I've had other workers from that company come, and they're good, as well. They've always done a nice job. I get things repaired at a reasonable price at the time they said they'd do it.

They had the most comprehensive package if you are looking for high quality garage doors & openers. We went to 3 other companies to do a price comparison, and each of the 3 companies stated that they could not provide us a single company to get us what we wanted--they had to piece together the door from various companies. Raynor offered everything we wanted from a single company. They were easy to work with, & they cooperated with additional requests we made. 2 downfalls were that the person who wrote up the quote didn't follow through, so our install got delayed by 10 days, & the first person who installed the first door (the 2nd one was damaged so it was further delayed), played loud music that our neighbors didn't appreciate during the install.

Great work. Showed up on short notice and did a nice job. We would use them again.

I CALLED TO GET AN ESTIMATE AND MIKE GUTHRIE CAME OUR EXACTLY WHEN PROMISED AND GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE AND THE SELECTIONS THAT I HAD FOR NEW GARAGE DOORS. HE USED AN APP ON HIS IPAD TO SHOW ME EXACTLY HOW THE NEW DOORS WOULD LOOK ON OUR HOUSE AND LEFT ME 4 COLOR SAMPLES TO CHOOSE FROM. ONCE WE DECIDED ON THE DOORS THAT WE WANTED I CALLED HIM AND SET UP A DATE AND TIME TO HAVE THE DOORS INSTALLED. AT THAT TIME I GAVE THEM A 50% DEPOSIT. THE INSTALLERS WERE ON TIME AND INSTALLED THE GARAGE DOORS. IT TOOK ABOUT 5 HOURS FOR THE INSTALLATION AND THEY CLEANED UP EVERYTHING WHEN THEY WERE DONE. THEY MADE SURE THAT I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE INSTALLATION BEFORE THEY LEFT. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE INITIAL CALL, THE INSTALLATION, AND THE COST FROM RAYNOR GARAGE DOORS OF KANSAS CITY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

Older door opener that was grinding but not able to open the door. They came out within a few days, quickly determined the problem, gave me an accurate estimate, and replaced a major part in the opener, completed the repair in 30 minuets. Pricey given the opener new would have cost around $250 but repair was only $110. Worked great for a couple of weeks then the button in the garage would only operate the door within a few minuets of the door being opened. The remote & outside key pad still operated the door every time. Called them back to take another look at it and had some difficulty getting someone to come back out. Scheduling time was difficult and I had to get a family member to come over when they could come. I was able to get the same repair staff out. Family reports he looked it over, recognized that the issue had come up when he originally repaired the door however he could not identify what the problem was. He attempted to put in another button but that did not repair the problem so he wired the old button to the opener externally neatly using a small wire up the wall and across the ceiling then charging an additional $90. The original wiring is inside the wall. I called the company the next day stating I did not want wiring along the wall and was displeased with the extra charge given they had done the original work. They explained that they do not do internal wiring but understood my displeasure. They surprised me stating they would return my check and recommended I contact an electrician. Very pleased with their attitude. The door does work & I have my $90 back to seek that electrician.

Fine. Arrived on time and completed the job in about 45 minutes.
