Description of Work: After opening the pool myself with my wife our first two years, this year we hired Pool Service Co Inc. They were fast, efficient, and did an amazing job. We've never had a green pool turn blue in one day before. Incredible! That was easy. We'll be hiring them again.

Description of Work: Doug is great! Came by same day I called him and fixed my pool pump, on the spot. He is extremely knowledgable and has 20 years of pool experience. I have an older pump and another company said only thing I could do was replace it. Doug was familiar with my pump and said it likely still has good life in it. I greatly appreciated the honesty and integrity in his approach. I plan to use him to close and open my pool, in addition to any other repairs. It's so refreshing when you meet service providers like Doug.

Description of Work: I have used Doug for over 15 years. Excellent service.He opens and closes my pool and hot tub. He also services the pool on a weekly basis. If something breaks down he is there within the day to repair. Could not ask for a more reliable person.

Description of Work: This was the first time I used this service. The pool service I had used all summer said they could not close my pool until the end of October. After searching on Angie's List, I called the Pool Service. Doug found/made a hole in their schedule that would allow a closing before the end of September. He and Troy arrived on schedule at the appointed time. I was immediately comfortable that I could put the pool in their hands. In fact, I had to leave before they finished and entrusted them to complete the job and store the equipment for me in my absence. I was so impressed, I immediately schedule Doug and Troy for opening next May and ongoing pool service through the summer. I would recommend this service without hesitation.

 + -1 moreDoug has been opening and closing our pool every year since we bought our house in 2002. He has trained me in pool ownership and maintenance - always willing to provide information and instruction when I ask. When I've called to report a concern, he willingly provides instruction over the phone - so that I can try to resolve it on my own without him coming out - for me, this is perfect. He also checks out the system every time he comes, and lets me know if any issues seem to be brewing or gives recommendations for things to do differently. Early on, he obtained a new winter cover for me when I was too clueless to get one; and has recommended products, and other service providers when needed.
Description of Work: Doug opens and closes our swimming pool every year.
