First of all I forgot to write a review in June, But when I spoke with Jake about the annual heater adjustment I remembered how smooth the whole job went. They were extremely professional ,on time , efficient , and cleaned up everything. Was refreshing to hire a contractor that I didn't have to birddog.

Seemed to be thorough. Answered all my questions. Went with Angie's list because I believe many businesses in this profession, actually do little checking or adjustment. 12/19/2013: Update: Turned on the attached Humidifier located on the furnace and serviced by Patriot. Drain hose had been left unattached and I didn't see it. Well, several days of humidifying my home and I had a portion of my basement flooded and carpet SOAKED. I readily found the source of the water and just attached the drain hose back to the Humidifier. Accidents happen, but in these trades, everything should be double checked.

Jake really put my mind at ease about the work he was doing even though he knew I was a little upset that it wasn't covered by warranty. He carefully showed me why the product was the cause and not one of the warrantied items, then threw in a check up on the system to go with it. Only mild annoyance was a yard sign left in my front yard to throw away, but no big deal.

resiWhat a well- trained and professional technician...as well as a genuinely caring person! Jake quickly diagnosed our A/C problems and took his time to educate and answer all of our questions. He promptly replaced the parts and got us back in business! Jake also had excellent ideas to cool several difficult rooms upstairs by adjusting the airflow. You will not be disappointed by this young man. He is knowledgeable, honest, informative, and an Air Force veteran whose specialty was heating and A/C. He diagnosed immediately what the issue was and offered two options: a foreign-made part with a 90-day warranty, or an American- made part with a 5-year warranty. While more expensive, the American-made part is the better decision and what we chose. We were impressed that a "live" person answered our phone call at 9:30 PM on a Saturday evening, and it was the business owner. He arrived exactly at the time agreed upon and explained everything he did. He also tuned up the A/C unit and checked the freon. He even gave us a furnace filter as a bonus. It's obvious he is dedicated to providing excellent customer service. Patriot Heating and A/C has stellar ratings on Angie's List and it's obvious why. Jacob is well-trained and skilled at what he does. His explanations were easy to understand and he always asked if we had questions. Customers can also earn cash incentives through referrals. We would absolutely use him again and we highly recommend Jacob and Patriot Heating and A/C.

Jacob came out promptly the morning after I called (7pm). He was very courteous, quickly diagnosed the problem, quoted his price and returned with the parts to do the job. I would not hesitate to call on him again for routine maintenance and repair issues. I'd say he went above and beyond because there were additional wiring issues apparently related to construction we had going on.

After my great frustration with another repair service, I chose to call Patriot. The owner Jacob picked up and after hearing about our issue let me know it was no problem and was out within an hour. He proceeded to explain why our A/C had stopped working and gave us options of parts (american and foreign) with reasonable prices and warrenties. He then stayed to make sure that the part that he had replaced was working properly and let us know that our voltage what it should be and recommended that we change out the motor. We did and now everything is working as if it were brand new. I gave my ratings because of the wonderful customer service that Jacob provided, and he was honest about pricing and took great care of us. We now have a maintence plan set up and we will always call Patriot for any of our heating and cooling needs. Thanks Patriot!

The service appointment went excellently. Jacob is a superior technician and individual who does not mind sharing his knowledge and will help you find the best solution to your problem. I will definitely call him for all future heating and air issues.

Jacob evaluated my unit and we discussed options. At first I thought I would go ahead and replace my furnace and a/c unit . Later in the day I decided to just replace the a/c unit and Jacob was very understanding and said he would do whatever I would like to do. Jacob and his co-worker were very professional. I would highly recommend Patriot.

I called Patriot, at noon when our A/C stopped working, and describe to the owner our situation and what I was seeing as a problem. It was very warm and humid that day, and he came out a few hours later that very day to look over our unit. It is a very old unit 15+ years, and had a pretty bad leak on it. He gave me a down to earth explanation on what we are looking at with an unit as old as ours. After servicing, he gave us a grace period to decide on whether to have his business to replace the unit, which would help toward the overall cost. I was very satisfied with his professionalism, and the manner in which explained our situation. I strongly recommend Patriot Heating A/C and Plumbing to anyone who needs work done.

It went great! I called on Wednesday morning and they were able to come out the same day to check it out. Our house was 89 degrees. After looking at it they told us what was wrong and the price to repair it ($500) and that it clearly wasn't big enough for our house and it might not work much longer after it gets repaired. It could never keep up during the summer, it was always over 80 degrees in our 2nd story. We decided we didn't want to pay to get it fixed, just wanted to get a new one. After feeling how hot our house was Jake said he couldn't leave us in that hot house and he repaired it for us for free while we waited to get the new one. He called Thursday morning to check and make sure the house got cooled off and offered to bring portable AC if it quit working. They came on Friday and installed the new units. After looking in the AC he saw there was mold and kindly installed a UV light for us. The AC is working great and we are looking forward to a much more comfortable house this summer! Jake is very knowledgeable in his profession. He does all the work himself, with the help of his brother-in-law. He sells top of the line American made units. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone that needs repairs/ installations. He clearly cares about his customer and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Couldn't be happier with Jacob's service! We lost our A/C last night and knew today would be miserable if we couldn't get someone out. I called him Sunday morning and he was to our home and repairing our A/C unit before noon! We were nervous about needing services on a Sunday, but were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable he is. He walked us through exactly what he was doing and even did some extra things for us while he was here. We have him scheduled to do a plumbing job along with future preventative maintenance for our Heating/A/C unit. As a home owner, it is very refreshing to find someone you can trust in your home and feel good about what you're paying for. Great to see someone so kind and passionate about what he does, and he clearly knows his stuff! We are definitely sticking with Patriot!!

I called Patriot becuase they were a small business with an A rating. My AC was not working and they were out within 2 hours of the call. Jacob was kind, courteous, and quickly found the problem. My AC was up and running within 30 minutes. He also anchored my outdoor water faucet back into the wall at no charge! If you like to use small businesses that give you great service, Please Use Patriot - they are wonderful.

I called Monday they worked Tuesday and finished on Wednesday. They were very courteous and went to bat for me with the furnace company dealing with the warranty and overall were just great to work with.

We needed a new air conditioner as ours had a leak somewhere and was using the old R22 refrigerant. We received bids from several companies, and Patriot was the cheapest at the end of the process. We were also impressed with Jake's punctuality, honesty and expertise. When Jake came to our house and did the bid, he was the only one who pulled up some data on our house to assess the heating and cooling load. When it came to the install, everything was clean and neat, and the install took less time than he had estimated. Jake also found mold in our ductwork, and he advised us to put in a UV light which we agreed to. I would recommend Jake to anyone looking for heating or air conditioning work. Although, he has a relatively young company, we believe that he has the qualities and professionalism that will keep him around for a long, long time.

They then showed us information of the upcoming regulation changes that will affect new heaters and how we could save money by moving earlier rather than later. Very professional and friendly!

My wife and I had been considering replacing our 27 year old Trane furnace and AC because of the EPA mandate taking effect in 2013. Even though our Trane system was still working we were concerned about the AC refrigerant becoming harder to get and more and more expensive. That, plus the shear age of the equipment had us a little worried about what would happen if we had a major component failure in either the AC or furnace a year or two down the road and thus be forced by government rules to purchase a much more expensive system than we wanted to. We had been doing some research on Angie's List concerning contractors and though Consumer Reports concerning what system would be best for us. What we were seeing on Angie's List about what a lot of people were paying for a new system added another worry because the prices seemed high especially if the customer was getting something other than a low end brand. According to our research though Consumer Reports we were liking American Standard, Trane, our old system which had served us well and Rheem. We had received a flyer in the mail from Patriot Heating and AC. We looked them up and discovered they were a new company (less than a year in business) which can be worrisome. But we had Jake (the owner) come out to see what he could do for us on pretty short notice. We found out that Jake had been in HVAC for several years and decided he preferred to work for himself. He had all the right training and back ground to do a competent job. We started discussing systems and Jake said he liked Rheem because they made excellent quality products and they were manufactured in the US unlike Trane and American Standard which had a lot of parts made off shore. That sealed the deal on Rheem for us. So now we were ready to talk about price. We didn't want finance this purchase but wanted to pay cash so the price point was crucial to our decision to go ahead or wait. When Jake gave us his estimate we were very pleasantly surprised. It was thousands of dollars less than we were expecting. We know you are supposed to always get several estimates for something as major as this because if it sounds to good to be true it usually is. Well, we couldn't see any hidden catches and it turned out that there weren't any. In fact Jake said his supplier was offering him an expensive add on and that he would pass that saving on to us and not charge us for this add on. We scheduled the installation for a couple of days after Christmas. Well, it is now a couple of days after New Years and we are really loving our new furnace and water heater. We obviously haven't been able to test out the new AC so I'll have report on that next summer. The install went smoothly and I have to comment on the custom duct work that had to be done so that the new furnace would hook in to our old ducting. There was a lot of skill and craftsmanship that went into that. It looks great. Debbie and I whole-heartedly recommend Patriot Heating and AC. They provided excellent quality and service at a very fair price.

Patriot, regularly services the air conditinoing and heating, after inspection they found leaks in the air conditioner and mold in the furnace. Jake, was very knowledgeable, had articles for back up information, and was neat and clean on location. He called before arriving at site. Jake, is pleasant and did not use any profanity.

After receiving various quotes, I called Patriot Heating and A/C. Jake came out the same day I called and completed the work that same day.Jake was very personable and professional. He put on shoe covers before entering my home. He explained what needed to be done and how much it would be before fixing the problem.I highly recommend this master technician for his unbeatable price!

Taken away by the sheer honesty of this company! Had Jacob out to diagnose a furnace that has been a nightmare for years, with the same re-occurring problem. I had some of the top hvac companies out to try and figure it out and every year they're back. Jacob Found the underlying issue within the hour and problem has gone away. I cancelled my service plan witha awell known company on sheer principle, being that Patriot is half the price. Master technician for those prices are very hard to come by. Patriot Heating & A/C has exceeded my expectations and i will tell everyone i know!! Thank you again Jacob!! One more note Jacob made it a point to use american made parts, which we need more of..
