 + -1 moreFirst measured table top was not correct, was reordered and delivered. The Sales Rep. carefully measured the odd shaped Table, he stated the Company he ordered the Glass from miscut the first top and replaced it with the correct measured Glass delaying the order another week. I would use Lawrence Glass and Mirror again as they were completely honest with me, a good value and I am a satisfied customer with a great glass top for our Table.
Description of Work: Odd shaped table top measured, cut and delivered. Additional glass shelves for a built in cabinet measured and delivered. Also ordered additional shelves, picked up from the Company office.

 + -1 moreOther than the long wait (which I OK'd) everything went well. The window fits well and looks just fine. Everyone I talked with was friendly and helpful.
Description of Work: I broke one of my living room casement windows on Feb. 5--late afternoon. I called several window companies, but none could come until the next morning. So I covered it with plastic for the night, and someone from Lawrence Glass came the following day. They boarded up the window and took measurements for a replacement. It needed to be custom-ordered and they told me it would take 3 weeks or so. I was out of town when it arrived, but we arranged to have it installed on March 9. The installation went well. But I realized (after the installer had gone) that I could not unlock the window. I called the company and they said that they would send someone back to check on it "when they were in the area again." I didn't realize that that would be almost 2 months later! But they did return on May 1, and repaired the lock and opener, so it works fine now.

Description of Work: I had a small beveled mirror that was cludy from age. I thought it might need to be resilvered. I posted a photo of it on the web with a request that they give me an estimate. I never heard anything so I drove to their store front, and she prepared an estimate on the spot. It was much more reasonable to replace the entire glass, and while the beveling doubled the price, it was such a small mirror I didn't care. They did a wonderful job of putting it back in the antique frame, and they got it all done within a day or two!

replacement windows
 + -1 moreThey came out and boarded up a broken window that I had and custom ordered the new one. They came back once the new window was ready and installed it. They did a very good job. They also adjusted the roller to work a little better. I later attempted to unlock the window but failed. I called them up to come back and fix the problem and they haven’t showed up as yet.

 + -1 moreCalled for an estimate to replace broken commercial glass. Was asked to send a digital picture of broken glass, which I did within two hours of initial phone call. I was told they would get back to me with an estimate. In a week I'd not heard back so called again, the day before Thanksgiving. I was told they would call the day after Thanksgiving with an estimate. They called five days later with an estimate that was 10% higher than another that I'd already received.
Description of Work: Didn't get job of replacing commercial grade window glass because of delayed response.

 + -1 moreThis was the only company that seemed to want this rather small job. Jeff had me email him a picture of the bathroom, which enabled him to determine that it was one-person job, rather than the 2-person job the others assumed it was. They came out the same day, rather than the two weeks the others offered, and for the same price. The guy who did the work was quick and professional and friendly.
Description of Work: Removed large mirrors surrounding the shower.

 + -1 moreI gave them measurements and a pattern of the corners and the glass fit perfectly when they were done. I was told the hand cut corners caused the price to be so high.
Description of Work: They cut a piece of glass to place on top of a desk. The desk had heavily rounded corners that had to be duplicated by hand.
