it went very well. We were probably a little more sophisticated than the average home owners undergoing such a large restoration since we had just overseen the building of our custom home. We understood that subcontractors are sometimes not as dependable as the contractors would like. However, despite those inherent problems, Green Home Solutions was very responsive in getting things done quickly, with high quality materials, without sacrificing the quality of their work. I fully anticipated that the end costs would be significantly higher than the insurance company's estimate. However, Green Home Solutions was able to justify expenses the insurance company did not anticipate and the insurance company covered them to our satisfaction. We also had GHS conduct a mold test which has set our mind at ease since the area most effected by the flooding an in-law's apartment for my elderly parents.
Description of Work: We suffered about $30k damage due to a water leak. Green Home Solutions worked with an unreasonably low insurance estimate (the insurance company actually deducted depreciation from its estimate for a house that was less than three months old) and restored our house to its new condition.

Terry and his team were wonderful! They came the day after we reported to the builders representative, they mapped out the process and were very clear on what we should expect. They kept in constant contact throughout the process and let us know the all clear when the job was done. I'd recommend to anyone needing any of their services!

Tests were performed identifying the mold issue and type of mold. They treated the area which corrected the mold problem. This was verified by additional testing the mold level. Their process works great as advertised. Their team were good to work with and I would recommend them to others.

I was extremely satisfied with the responsiveness of Terry and John. They took action immediately to resolve the mold issue in my home and were prompt and professional at all times. They were also very wiling to answer all my questions. In my opinion, they went above and beyond by suggesting the possible cause of the mold, which was confirmed by an HVAC service company, Moreover, to help detect future leaks in the HVAC unit that was adjacent to my closet wall, they installed a "trap door" at the bottom of the closet so I could check for potential leaks. Oh, and let's not forget Connie in the Green Home Solutions office. She is a jewel!
Description of Work: I found black mold in the closet of my new home which was not disclosed by the prior homeowner. The closet was packed full when original inspections were done. I sent Terry a picture of the mold in question, and he came out first thing the next day, collected air samples and immediately sent them out to the lab. As soon as the results came back indicating elevated mold levels and the presence of stachybotrys (black mold) a plan was put into action immediately. This included: • Use of air scrubbers and negative air pressure to contain the treatment area • HEPA vacuum of all areas of visible mold • Direct application of EPA-registered enzyme-based mold product on all visible mold • Heavy fogging of the home and ducting system with EPA-registered mold product • Removed contaminated building material • Fogging inside wall cavities and entire home • Application of mold-resistant primer on wall surfaces • Taking air samples (post-treatment) to confirm that mold levels were restored to a normal and acceptable level in my home.

Excellent. Erich and Terry are both very customer oriented, communicative, responsive, and, they use only environmentally safe chemicals/processes. They performed a mold remediation for my sellers (I am with Keller Williams Real Estate). It was done correctly, on time and at a price below the other estimates we received. I will use Green Home Solutions for all of my mold issues.
