I contacted this company twice - each time asking for an estimate to repair my front porch. Both times they did not provide the estimate, or call me to explain why they just "forgot".....I don't plan on using this company.

Everything was done quickly and without any problems.

Chad was great. He did a fantastic job with the work. I was grateful that he came and did the work as it was a smaller job.

Chad Prater from C & C Concrete did a wondeful job of listening to what I wanted. He gave an estimate on a biger project (walkays too). I decided a few months after to go ahead with only the driveway since were were on a fixed income now. I was impressed that he kept me informred of delays of start up due to our unexpected snow falls in Kansas. When the work began, the workman were here at the time stated and were very professional and easy to have around. I couldn't be more pleased with the new driveway. The cost was comparable to other estimates I got. Chad ended by explaining the best care of the concrete. By the way, we are the second in our extended family to use C & C and my sister sings their praises also. I am very, very satisfied with the work.

I contacted this company as the reviews on Angie's List appeared to be pretty good. I called and spoke with a very nice lady who informed me Chad was out in the field but checks his messages often. I gave her two phone numbers for my contact and she stated Chad would be contacting me later on that day. I never received a phone call from Chad and it has now been about 2 weeks. I am very disappointed as the follow through with this company is less than adequate..

Overall the job went exactly as planned and Chad did everything he said he was going to do and was very responsive. We did have some cracking in our garage floor within 30 days but there had been a large chasm underneath the old floor and it was repoured with plenty of steel and attachments. The cracking, unfortunately was related to the extraordinary drought, as near as we can tell and Chad has offered to come back and reseal the same. He also came back to repair an area damaged by a tree service right after the job was done. And the repair looks just like the original. Very good and reliable work. He uses only granite aggegrate and many services won't even specify this unless you know to ask for it. Today's soft limestone will leave holes in the concrete over time and granite aggregate it the only way to go today.

The C&C Owner worked with us to determine concrete color and joint patterns. Excellent work. Beautiful joints and finishing. No cracking after a year in service. Good protection for surrounding landscaping. C&C Owner was on the project at critical times to insure that the work went well.

See Chad, the owner of C & C Construction was very professional and very informative about the work he would do to replace our driveway, walkway and stoop. Him and his employees did a great job in complete this project. They were on time and work very hard through very high heat this summer to complete this job. We thought they did an excellent job and would recommend them to others to have concrete work done. The project went amazingly well. Chad and his crew arrived at the jobsite exactly at the date and time he had promised, and moved through the work straightforwardly. This is a very hard working group of men, and really fun to work with. We found damage to the existing plumbing under the kitchen floor, and Chad referred me to an excellent plumber who came in on just a few hours' notice and replaced this. When we found the void under the existing slab that wasn't being removed, Chad brought in a mixer of slurry (very liquid concrete) and a pumper truck, and filled the void with nearly six yards of slurry. The finiish work on the new kitchen floor and patio was done very carefully, and the new concrete came out beautifully. When they were finished Chad's crew carefully cleaned up the jobsite, and left for another job. They were so much fun to work with, so respectful and just "nice," that I really missed them after they left. This job was completed on time and with very high quality, despite the unexpected problems we found under the existing concrete. Chad brought in the slurry and pumper truck to fill the void, and didn't mark up his costs for those products/services. I could not give a higher recommendation. This job could have been a disaster with all the unexpected problems we found, and it came out beautifully, and right on schedule, thanks to Chad's excellent management and the work of his fine (and fun) crew. If I have more concrete work in the future, C & C will definitely get my repeat business.

I called C&C for an estimate. Chad was out witin the next two days and submitted an estimate to me via e-mail. I contracted to have the work done. Chad was punctual and professional. The work was actually done ahead of schedule. There was minimum disruption to the surrounding lawn and the driveway looks great. I've already recommended C&C to my co-workers. I plan on using them again.

I have been getting estimates and reading reviews of contractors for the last couple of years. The garage floor was crumbling and flaking pretty badly so this was the year to take charge. I chose C&C based upon discussions of the process with Chad, the owner, and also because of the quality reviews given on AngiesList. They don't skimp on quality to be the low cost bidder. I had windows of dates that would work for me, and they indicated that would be no problem as they would work around my schedule needs. They called and asked to park their trailer in front of my home on Monday night and to start first thing Tuesday. They were completely done and on to their next job at 11 on Thursday morning. They kept on the job until everything was completed and worked late into the night smoothing the garage floor. The crew works very well together and were responsive to any questions or concerns I had. It was hard to get excited about concrete, but now I am.

Removed old, deteriorated concrete sidewalk and driveway and replaced with new concrete. Also removed old, deteriorated patio and replaced with new stamped, colored concrete. Very pleased with quality of work. Company owner was onsite much of the time to oversee work. Would hIghly recommend.

They say they will take it out basically by hand and refill with rebar and floor concrete. Probably I will look for others to hear what they have to say about the works.

When we moved to Overland Park, everyone told us "Seal your driveway so the salt from the winter does not crack your concrete". We took their advice and had Chad come and look at our driveway and two porches. We innitially wanted him to seal all of our concrete, but after inspection, he told us that the back porch had already been sealed and would not need it again. Saved us $300! I like his honesty and his work ethic. Chad came out today and powerwashed our 5 year old driveway and sealed it right up. No worries for us this winter! Thanks Chad for being honest, doing a good job, and being prompt. Can't wait to tackle the backyard next summer.

Chad came and provided an estimate. He and his crew had been here last year to replace the driveway which was such a great experience and results that I asked him to come back to do the walkway and front porch. We talked about plain concrete vs. a colored stamped one. I wasn't sure that is what I wanted but he showed me his personal stamp that looks like they brought in natural stone and laid it in place and some examples of color and I was sold. It would just add that extra special look! It took about 4 days from beginning to end because I have a long arched walkway and big front porch. Each day the crew was there along with Chad on time and very professional, nice to work with and extremely courteous and conscientious of my surrounding plants and yard. Just as they were the year before. Same crew, same great work, same professionalism, same attention to detail, same complete clean up and when they said we will be tomorrow at 8:00 am they were here at 8:00 am! He also resealed my new driveway from last year which is a great way to protect your investment. My driveway is very long and I appreciate his advise on keeping my driveway maintained properly. Considering the extreme drought we had all summer and heat my driveway is fine. It is such a pleasant experience to work with Chad and his crew! Even when the concrete truck arrived I wanted to tweak a few of the forms and he and his crew immediately changed it and the pour started. The stamp that Chad used on my walkway and porch is just awesome. I didn't want something busy like a brick pattern and this was exactly what I envisioned it would like like. Once it was done I just couldn't believe how awesome it looked and how much it looked like just big natural stone slabs! Again I took a leap of faith when we decided to do the stamped vs. plain concrete because it was Chad! All I can say is when he offers advise and alternatives-LISTEN to him! The result is awesome! I totally recommend Chad for any concrete work-tear out and replace, maintain by sealing, and for really listening to me on what I wanted and then offering me other alternatives to really make my house stand out! My new colored stamped walkway and front porch looks awesome and has totally changed the look. it just looks awesome and I love it!

The work went very well. They showed up on time. They seemed to know how to make the job at hand look easy ,meaning they worked very efficently. Four workers and Chad did this work in five days even with rain the last day. I am very happy with the work done. They asked what I wanted then tryed to give me what I needed.In one case saving me money by making suggestions that improved the looks and still gave me what I wanted. I believe I got very high quaility product at a reasonable cost. Day 1.tore out garage floor/prepped for new concrete (puting down layer of gravel,packing it down,cutting rebar fitting it,tieing it. Day 2.Poured garage floor leveled it out. Most of the day was used smoothing floor to a very fine finish.They also started tearing out drive,stoop,and sidewalks. Day 3. Finished Tearing out drive,stoop,sidewalks.Prepping for driveway pour (gravel,rebar,forms). Then poured drive. Day 4.Prepped stoop,sidewalks,curb for pour .Then pouring all that afternoon. Day 5.Prepped approach.Cleaned up all of yard,street .

As stated above, the process was seamless as was promised by Chad, the owner. His professionalism and knowledge of his line of work was very refreshing. He has a crew that said they had been with him for a long time. That has to say something as well. Thanks again Chad.

They were very courteous and professional. The men all said "Good morning." They were not loud or boisterous, left no trrash, and did an excellent job. The driveway looks great, and when they were through, they gave me tips on caring for the new driveway. They even moved, before I could ask, some decorative rocks that might have been subject to damage, and replaced them when done.We were 100% satisfied with the company.

Chad's company was highly recommended to me from a blog website. The folks that recommended him were right on the money. I seem to always have some issues when it comes to contractors, not this time. Chads bid was in line, his crews were always on time and were very professional. The finished project was outstanding and they left the area cleaned up. Thank you Chad and crew. Doug and Juli

Chad and crew at C & C were very meticulous about the correct sloping of the driveway and appropriate water drainage away from my house but not impeding the neighbors. Their workmanship was beautiful and the crew was always kind and mannerly. Plus, it was obvious from the occasional laughter from the bunch they all got along well and enjoyed what they were doing. A lot to be said for positive energy! It's hard to understand the price of doing a concrete driveway until you understand the amount of time and manpower it takes to do this work. I learned that timing is everything! And Chad is very good at orchestrating the anticipated steps (obvious experience) to keep the crew busy and the project moving forward. Very pleased with the experience!

I would not recommend this company. I would not use this company again.

Their price was reasonable for the driveway they did and I thought that it was a good price. Everything turned out great so far. My son did most of the negotiating and talking with them and I did some but they were easy to deal with. I thought that they did a very good job. I think that they knew what they were doing and if I had any questions about them they were able to answer the questions. They also told not to put any ice on that in the future. They told some things what to do when winter came in and everything. In the couple of years it needs to be refilled, so they were very helpful that way. I would feel free to call them if I had any kind of a problem. Anything that came up, they took care of. I liked them a lot. I was pleased with the price and thought it was fair.
