A 1 did a great job. We are already making a list of projects with them for continuing work. The crew was really friendly and very respectful of the house and our stuff. They did one of the best post-work cleanups I've had too. They had us mark with tape places where we had questions about the work. They wanted to make sure we were completely happy with the outcome. In our case, they even decided to repaint an area because they weren't happy with it. We are really pleased with the final look and their input for decisions turned out to be great guidance.

Fonda and Steve run a fantastic company, excellent communication and quality of craftsmanship. We used them 1st to build decking over our back patio and a privacy wall, to enclose our hot tub. A few months later we had them remodel our kitchen which included adding new cabinets, painting existing cabinets, countertops, backsplash, lighting and plumbing. They were always prompt, dependable, cleaned up after each day’s work and extremely easy to communicate with. My husband and I very satisfied with their work and will most definitely hire them again!

They did an excellent job, not only with the work performed, products used, etc., but were extremely timely and quoted properly. I would highly recommend this company for any work needed. After all the tornado damage, insurance process and finding resources - along with an amazing amount of stress for several months - it was a great blessing to have an honest and capable team get my home put back together. They were even gracious to add a few items at a very nominal charge.

Both Fonda and Steve were exceptional and we were pleased with the results and turnaround time. I highly recommend them.

After the next heavy rain, we noticed more water damage (it was still leaking), but they came out and took another stab at it. So far, so good. I appreciate them not fighting with me on coming back out... very professional and concern that we were happy.

Everything went extremely well. Good communication the whole time. They will be back out in about 10 days or so to lengthen 3 of the stair rails ( that was part of the disability friendly package). These people are great for all the little "handy man" projects that two old women can't do.

A1 did an excellent job! The made recommendations for approach and cost savings, made a detail bid on the work to be done and met all aspects of the work done perfectly. I am very satisfied.

His subcontractor did not perform what he was supposed to do. Steve and the sub came back out and did some more of the work. I was on a business call when they supposedly finished and could not look at the job. Several more planks needed to be replaced. I don't think Steve listens very well to the customer, nor makes recommendations. He bid on the installation of tile back splash for the kitchen and was 3x higher than other bids. I emailed him and told him that I would not recommend him and he never responded.

A1 never replied to message. No contact.

We were very happy with the punctuality and responsiveness of A1. Steve emailed us a bid which broke down the areas which needed repaired giving us a price for each. Ultimately we decided to have all of the bid work done. We let them use their own judgement in rebuilding the front entryway in a manner similar to the original design. What they built was of the same style but is somewhat smaller and simpler (in a good way - fewer seams, less angled surfaces) and should be much easier to maintain. Most of the rest of the work was pretty straight forward wood rot repair adding horizontal cedar boards where the siding was rotting at the bottom. There was a fairly extensive amount of this sort of work and of course it all had to be painted afterwards. The only issue that came up was with the color of the trim around our front windows and garage. They originally matched their trim paint to a piece of trim on the house but we had wanted it matched to some paint we had leftover from the previous owners. When we pointed this out the mismatch with our expectations they were gracious about it and quickly fixed the issue. We are happy with the final product and would hire A1 again.

They keep me informed before and during work. Everything was done very well and fast.

They are so great to work with. They have wonderful suggestions, got me my quote and project start date really fast and do wonderful work. I highly recommend!

He was extremely punctual and trustworthy. His work is proving to be durable and dependable. His pricing is very reasonable. I had a chance to meet Fonda as well and they are both really nice people. I will never hesistate to contact them for any of my future needs.

To date I have not received any communication from Fonda, and I'm diligent about checking emails/spam, phone messages... Since it appears they don't need my business, I've gotten another quote.

We scheduled the work for a cetain date and could not accomplish the task due to inclement weather. Steve stayed in contact with me to work around the inconvenience and found a break in the sorms. They (Steve and his crew) showed up on time as scheduled and began working emmediately. What I thougt would take all day, or possibly two days, was completed by early afternoon of the same day and to my total satisfaction. They are definitely on the front of the line for future work.

Steve and his crew were very professional in their work, and my husband and I could not be happier with the results. They arrived on time and cleaned up after their work each day. The work looks great! Steve even added an additional detail to the pillars on the front which makes them look even better than they did before. He was so nice to work with; and if we need repair done in the future, we will definetly call on him.
