They were very professional and I am sure would have done a great job. However their price for the basic repairs was three times or more higher than the other 3 companies I contacted.

It went fine. They gave me some ideas to remedy the water in my basement. It turned out to be a little more expensive and I plan on possibly contacting them for follow up in the future. The tech was at my home for about an hour. They were on time to my appointment and very professional.

Work was not performed. We received a write up of what the representative viewed as the underlying problem along with an estimate for his company to make the necessary changes. Somehow, I had the expectation that we would receive some diagram or layout or schematic or something, but came away with more feeling like I had just paid for a free estimate. Nice guy, though. I think for future hiring, I would have to feel that the proposal was more detailed and competitive price-wise before proceeding. It would be refreshing if some of the time people would realistically conclude that no expensive work was needed, rather than always trying to super sell you their services or products. This wasn't a hard sell by any means, but the conclusions seemed a little extreme.

I would recommend him. He did everything that he was supposed to do and discovered 2 cracks. He knew what he was doing and he even helped me remove some drywall and insulation, and then sent me a bid later for repairs. However, his bid was too high.

It worked out. The guy came out; he was punctual. The information was very helpful. He was very professional.

The inspection and estimate were well done, on time and very professional. However, I don't know what my $39.00 bought me since they advertise free estimates and $500.00 discount off on their website. They also gave me an estimate for an egress window that I want installed. I always get 3 estimates on any work I have done but they will definitely be in the running for getting the job.

The gentleman that showed up was very nice and polite. He had no real experience. Within 5 minutes he told me my foundation was fine. I walked him around anyways, but he seemed more interested in chatting than looking at the details of my foundation. He actually used a couple of jargon words incorrectly (pronounced them wrong). I asked a couple of questions that he answered incorrectly (I was more or less testing him to see if I can trust what he was telling me). It was clear that he was trying to sound like he knew what he was talking about. I still have received nothing from Heartland, but he said it would be a week or so. I am not sure what was worth $500. There wasn't even a picture taken.

I was impressed with them. The technician spent an hour with me and even had me watch a video on how basement foundations work. He did a thorough inspection of the house. He sent me an estimate after a couple days of the inspection.

In spite of some interference from the weather, the work was done in a reasonable amount of time, with everything being put back s close as possible to normal.

I did use it and there is something wrong with the website because I can't go in there and put reviews or anything I can get to the regular website for some reason. There was no additional charge. I thought they were supposed to provide foundation evaluation for likes leaks or whatever but actually when they came in and did a foundation evaluation nothing at all to do with the leak and told me that I needed 12000 dollars worth of foundation work. First of he came in he was going to email me the evaluation he never did. I emailed him almost a week later ask where he was he sent two emails it says he was going to send in and finally did so it was like bit later, but I had to contact him go get it. So when I question about the leak and I was asking him about that and he goes all I didn't even notice that. I said how can you not notice but he did an inspection. His responsive was very poor. I probably would not use him again.

The guy knew what he was doing.? He knew what he was talking about. We evaluated some problems that I had experienced, I worked in a construction for forty years so I know a little bit about it but he told me exactly the same thing I had already got it needed to be done told me how to do it which I don't know how to do it.? I was impressed with it, very knowledgeable and very impressive guy.

On time and offered an honest opinion.

John was very knowledgeable and friendly. He discussed multiple solutions for my wet crawlspace.

It did not work out very well. A man from the company came over and checked out the property. He noted some defects and gave us an estimate that I thought was probably a little on the high side given the actual conditions. After I thought about it, it seemed that paying somebody just to come and give an estimate was probably not the best way to go about it. Most companies will at least look at the problem and give you a free estimate. All in all, I was less than pleased with him and we decided not to go with his estimate. He came out shortly after I purchased the big deal. We got together and he came out pretty quickly. The quality of his service was okay and he was very thorough. He made contact really well and his punctuality was okay too. I would not use him for the particular thing that we are trying to accomplish.

Scheduled appointment quickly. Walked around my house with me and asked me to report any problem areas. Inspected foundation and talked me through water infultration and foundation solutions. Provided detailed written report, complete with comeptitive bids for sheet drain installation and foundation repair.

Did excellent job of locating and sealing the crack. This involved digging down about 2 1/2 feet outside and removing and replacing the dry wall in the finished basement. The price seemed a bit high but, except for the replacement of the landscape plants outside, the work was performed well, conscientiously and good effort was given to working with minimal mess and disruption.

The process of getting a quote from them was very good. The staff did fine with the quoting. They do real good work.

I deal with John Coil and he always promptly return my calls if I had questions or if I had to call him back. They had to redo some work but it wasn’t something that he had done. It was one of his younger employees. He was just very polite and professional. They came out the next day and fix the drain in the thing but I just appreciated the fact that he was able to squeeze me in and do it quickly. They did a good job.

While I was impressed when the gentleman was here, I am glad we did not end up going with his solution. A rep from another company came out and found the problem to be a crack in the wall. The cost for repair (which I had the second company do) ended up being only $300. I wish that the Heartland Rep would have investigated further to find the true cause of the problem (a crack in the foundation wall) rather than suggesting an expensive repair that was not needed, based on information I shared about what we thought the problem was.

They came on time. Very nice, clean men!! They did a great job, on the flower bed, and a beautiful new side walk!! Even gave me a discount paying a deposit up-front. They cleaned up their mess. My husband and I are very happy!

ctlAfter just purchasing a home, we experienced water in the basement in one corner. After several company estimates, none of which guaranteed their work, we decided on Heartland Basement Authorities. We could not be more pleased with their service. Although they were a little more expensive, I feel confident in the work they performed, and when they were finished, you could not even tell they were here. Amazing people, amazing company, and we have several other issues that have continued to arise with this new house, but we know exactly who to call to fix the problem. I know they will fix it the right way the first time, and they will guarantee their work.
