The job was okay -- not great, not bad. I recently had to follow up with him on an issue with the stucco and tracked him down to Hawaii, where he now lives. He referred me to someone else in the KC area, but he did not return my phone calls.

Kevin arrived at my house within 1 day of my initially calling him for an estimate. He is professional, very knowledgeable & informative on stucco. I asked him many questions & he answered all of them. He's been in business almost 2 decades. I liked the fact that he has had the same crew for many years, not subs. His crew of five is a very cohesive group led by his foreman, Adam. Adam has a great sense of humor. At one point, I actually heard his men singing while they were up there working on the scaffolding. It was delightful! I've had other work done on my house in the past & it can be very stressful listening to bickering & arguing. I would give Kevin & his crew the highest recommendation. Kevin is definitely an old fashioned contractor & by saying that I mean that he's informative, honest, reliable, prompt & clean. He takes pride in his work. He's not the cheapest, but he's not the highest, either. He's one of the best contractors I've worked with in the 11 years I've lived here.
Description of Work: Our house had hail damaged bat & board siding. Kevin & his crew removed the existing bats on the back of our house, taped all seams, first covered the house with Tyvek stucco wrap, then black paper. Then then put up the wire mesh, then the first & finish coat of stucco. We'd had the other 3 sides of our house stuccoed last fall by a different company and they left quite a mess, in the mulch, on the bushes, etc. Kevin & his crew were very professional, and except for the stuccoed house, you couldn't even tell they had been there! My yard was left neat as a pin. Their prep work was superb. First they laid out large tarps, then they put up scaffolding that spanned the entire length of our house. They then covered every window & door with plastic & taped the edges of every window. They also taped off the soffits & all side trim, faucets, HVAC lines, etc. Again, except for the finished product, there was not a scrap of stucco anywhere on my property.
