This was no easy replacement. Sub floor 10' high then deck then supporting a sunroom 12' higher above deck. 6x12x16 beam supported by 2-6x6 to hold up the sunroom above. Stairs down from the sunroom was reconfigured to add space. Replace decking, stairs, railing, add support to substructure and lift everything 3" to bring sunroom to level. Screws in decking. Results were way beyond wildest dreams--excellent. PS. Sunroom is 28' from floor to ground.
