+ -1 moreI have used Witter Plumbing for years. Jerry is very knowledgeable and prompt. Most important for me as a single woman is he is very honest. I have always felt that the work he has recommended or done has been necessary and his work lasts. Today's visit a valve on the water heater went bad. He replaced it in 5 minutes and although he installed the water heater 3 years ago he didn't charge for the visit. We need more quality honest people like him. Every time he has done work for me I would give him an A++.
Description of Work: A valve on my water heater was leaking. It took him 5 minutes to replace.

Description of Work: We had several lighting jobs that we needed to have done. We wanted several old fixtures replaced, including outdoor lights in front and back and also a chandelier in the dining room and in the entryway. We also had sconces put up in the dining room and Jerry had to run new wiring to those. We had timers put on all the outdoor lights as well. The sconces were a lot of work to put up as the first pair didn't work and had to be replaced. We also had new flourescent lighting put in the garage. Jerry was here for most of 2 days. He works steadily and always shows up when he says he will, and cleans everything up after he is finished. Jerry is very personable and professional and he is very reasonable. I wouldn't call anyone else for electrical or plumbing work.

+ -1 moreI called Witter on monday. I got a return call on tuesday morning setting up a visit on friday. He came promptly at 9AM, saw the tub and plumbing. Took about 10 minutes preparing an estimate. We had a short discussion about what could be done, then I accepted the estimate. He began work right away. Was done in a little over 2 hours. He was very careful of our space - laid down many clean tarps before beginning. Afterward he showed the fit and function of it all. We had a short discussion of the appearance (looks good, btw). I paid him, and we had a discussion of the neighborhood. All in all - a very pleasant business experience.
Description of Work: Replaced tub waste and overflow. Removed drum trap and replaced with P-trap.

+ 0 moreThe overall work went very well. Jerry was prompt, professional and knew exactly what to do. He made things very easy for an overwhelmed homeowner in an older house. We will definitely use him for all future plumbing/electrical needs.
Description of Work: Jerry hooked up our new sink in our kitchen and re-routed some plumbing that had been causing issues and causing a foul smell. He also installed 2 kitchen receptacles. Our 1960 house had original wiring and way too many wires in the junction box. The homeowner before us had definitely rigged some incorrect wiring to switches, etc.

+ -1 moreTotal experience was excellent. Jerry is polite and precise. We have used him in the past for electrical work. I thought that fee was less than other plumbing/drain cleaning companies I have used.
Description of Work: Jerry Witter arrived exactly on time and first tried to clear the line from the washing machine, which didn't fix the problem. He then got the bigger line and ran it 75 ft. after unhooking the plumbing under my sink. This fixed the problem. Completed job in one hour.

Description of Work: Jerry Witter replaced the overflow drain in the tub of the main bathroom. Quickly, neatly, unobtrusively. Was gentlemanly, clean, and helpful, easy to work with. I like things done to the highest quality the first time without cutting corners because in my experience as a homeowner, it lasts longer and is more functional, this is the way he works too, so we got along fine.
