Description of Work: We have been using Silverleaf for the last several years. They have done regular mowing for us as well as planting projects. They are responsive and reliable and overall, their work is excellent.

Description of Work: We have been using Silverleaf for several years now. They do our yard fertilization for starters. We have had them do fall yard cleanup. We have had them trim all shrubs and trees in our yard. They have also reedged our flower beds and mulched them.

Description of Work: Arrived at 4:300 p.m. To do ALL spring clean up trimminge, etc., had no warning. Had they simply rung the doorbell I could have told the I was having company. At 5 after 7 I asked them to leave..we could not hear ourselves in great room. The assumption that working until 8 pm on a Monday night was rude. Jeff reported they had done Mission Hills. I am usually last on the list and have been a customer since it began. I have no idea how much services cost because we see no statement until monthly bill. I asked Jeff two years ago to recommend a sprinkler co. He recommended Organic Warehouse, a joke in the industry. It cost over $3,000 to replace. Jeff had stated he would split cost. He's backing off that committment and made a vague statement about taking it out in trade. He is too busy and feels appearing at 4:30 to do a very large yard is justified. Way too busy.

Description of Work: Silverleaf was our primary lawn mowing and landscaping provider for about four years, but over time, we became increasingly dissatisfied with the quality of their work. They mutiliated the posts that frame our deck, (very expensive to replace) when the mowers used the weedeater around the deck, because they use a short cord on the weedeater in order the expedite the work. In addition, they severed four newly planted shrubs in the front yard flower bed when they were laying out mulch, even though I pointed out those shrubs to them before they began mulching. The owner did replace those shrubs, however. Lastly, the ower misdiagnosed a problem we were having with our lawn by claiming that the problem was caused by fungus (an easy diagnosis given the number of homeowners who had a problem with fungus that year). His treatment did not work, so we consulted with another landscaper to get a second opinion. That landscaper provided a different diagnosis, and his treatment resolved the problem. The Silverleaf owner refused to credit our account for the fungus treatment, and he threatened to sue us for the treatment fee, even though we could show that his treatment did not work. If they were the only lawn and landscaping company that serviced the Johnson county area, I would mow the lawn myself and do all of the landscaping. At least then all of the mistakes would be my own!

Description of Work: I used Silverleaf Lawn & Landscape, Inc. to take the snow from the driveway, to do some landscaping twice or three times a year and for the lawn. They also spray fertilize on the grass.

Description of Work: We have this compagny mow our grass every weeks and take care of the snow every time it snowed more than 1.5 inches during the winter. They are doing a good job. There are very receptive at also accomodating us if we need something like changing the mowing day for a special reason or to remove snow on the city side walks around the house in addition of just the driveway. We pay $35 per mowing, about $55 per fertilizer application and about $45 per snow removal.
