Rent A Handyman

The gentleman they sent out, Herb, was excellent. He was very nice and estimated the job quickly. He was in and out. He completed the job in about 6 or 7 hours. He was very good. The price was very reasonable.

We found him in the magazine and decided to use him. He had a coupon that he honored, from the book. His estimate was higher than what he charged, because he ended up using less than he first thought. He did a great job.

Good...only problem was time it took for contractor to get back with me regarding bid. Had to call them back to schedule appointment, but once a time was established to do the work, it was completed within the very next business day. Very professional and on the ball. Will use again the next time we need a handyman!!

It went alright, but he did not leave a space in between the boards as I had requested. They also seemed a little reluctant to honor their discount through angies list, and only took off $60 of the $100 coupon. He is a very hard worker and could do a good job but seems to benefit from constant supervision.

All good work and called to come early. Quick and well done. I was not happy about the clean up. Only large pieces of scraps were picked up. I had to vacuum and wash the floor twice to get the particles of drywall up. An excellent job of repairing the wallpaper. Very pleasant personality.

Their work was very good. Their prices were right on. There were no problems! Job well done!

I had a great experience with this company; they were very respectful, helpful and punctual. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves and they were very professional. I would use this company again in the future.

Called the office and scheduled a time to give an overview of the work that needed to be done. I received an estimate and the handyman gave me his mobile number to call him and schedule a time. I called and after two days of no response I called the office to schedule a time. The handyman called me 30 minutes prior to the appointment to tell me that he was a day behind schedule and would not be able to honor the appointment. I had taken a vacation day to be at home for the appointment and could not reschedule. I canceled the service.

Called Rent a Handyman and set up estimate. Office was very professional. Chuck called and set up time to do the bid. He came out and gave me a bid and was very professional. I called him back a couple of days later and left a message that I wanted to proceed with work. He called back and said great but he didn't have his calendar and would have to call me back the next day. He never called back. I tried reaching him one more time without success. I didn't want to chase him to get him to do the work. I went with another company.

It went really well. They guy that came out was kind and knowledgeable and did what I told him so I'm very pleased about the work. Their price was really good.

Over all he appeared a nice person and did a great job. He was punctual and professional. We are satisfied with his work

It went great. Chase gave me an accurate estimate and was polite and respectful. He came a little late but called me before the time he was to show up and explained. He still had no problem getting all the work done on time. The work was performed well and he cleaned up after himself. He even noticed a loose handle on my storm door and fixed it for me!

We contacted Chase Cunningham at Rent A Handyman about painting where wood rot had been repaired. He came to our house and gave us a bid for the work. He returned a few days later to do the painting. The painting looks great and the actual cost was lower than his bid because Chase was able to complete the job in less time than he estimated on his bid. We are very pleased with his work and would recommend him to others.

Phil did extremely good work and was very good to deal with. With creative thinking and very good craftsmanship, he solved problems with some of our interior doors that we expected to require door and/or door frame replacement and to cost several thousand dollars. We couldn't be more happy with Phil's work - if we weren't moving out of town in the next few months, I'm sure we would use this company again and again. Thanks, Phil!

When installing the curtain rods, the installers hands were so dirty he left marks on my wall. He did not fix all areas of the deck that needed fixing. They acted as if they couldn't get out of my house sooner.

Michael did the estimate and made suggestions for how best to repair. After the siding was removed, it was apparent that some additional work was required to replace some structural supports that also had wood rot. He did a great job working with the problem and finished the job in a reasonable time.

Much measuring, sawing and drilling was required on the new door (which was why we didn't do it ourselves). Handyman capably installed new door over a couple of hours. He had to go buy 2 new drill bits during the job, and he did remark that it was one of the most complex storm doors he's ever installed, especially since it has a bottom and top closer that had to be set just right so the door closed easily. He also had to drill the holes for the handle. There's a small gap at the bottom on one side of the frame that I need to fill with some insulation, but the other side was measured and cut just right. Overall, the job was done well and soon after I called.

The handyman Joe came out and gave the estimate on the work. He scheduled a date and when it rained he was good about setting another scheduled date. The work was done quickly. The difficulty lied in the work being on the second story of a two story home. I have not had any further problems with leaks.

The entire job took only 2 days between my first call to Rent A Handyman and completion of the job. Arlen worked tirelessly for an entire day. These were new rails, so he had to design them in addition to building them, and he did a great job matching them to the existing trim on our house.

I called the company to set up an appointment. The contact person was very friendly and helpful. A handyman called me shortly after that to schedule a time for the installation, which was in two days time. He was friendly and helpful on the phone, explaining what I would need for the installation. The installation of the facet was quick (approximately 45 minutes) and done well. The only thing I didn't like was I had a coupon from the contractor's website that I wanted to use and the handyman seemed displeased I was using it. They have a minimum charge of $119 for two hours and I had a $25 off coupon. I think $94 for 45 minutes of work is more than fair. I'm a widow who is the sole income provided (like a lot of women and men) and have limited funds, so I really didn't appreciate this reaction. Besides this one negative incident, the work that was done well and I will use the contractor again.

Great! Jeff was very friendly and super fast. Took out old light fixture, and installed new light fixture with no issues.

With minimal instruction and supervision, Michael did a great job replacing a small piece of siding due to woodrot and helped touch up three or four areas where there was exterior peeling paint.

Michael came out in a timely manner to provide an estimate. I compared a couple of estimates, and theirs was responsibly priced for the work asked to be performed. A detail breakout of the estimate was provided for labor in addition to an approximate quote was identified for materials. Due to the depth of wood rot on one window, I thought the window would need to be replaced. Michael showed me which windows needed to be replaced (seals broken), and which ones he could repair that would save me the cost of replacement. The quality of work met/exceeded my expectation. All workspace was cleaned up thoroughly. I am pleased to have found a handyman that I trust that does quality work for a reasonable price. I will definitely be using him again in the future as needs arise.

They performed the work in a 2-day period and it was done much to our satisfaction. We would definitely hire Rent A Handyman again.

Did a lot of follow ups. They called later after project was complete just to make sure the jobs were exactly what they were looking for.
