What an awful experience! Many communication break downs and not following through on what they say they are going to do. The first issue was when Brad Applebaugh said he would send me a picture of the carpet and vinyl that was purchased and he never did. Then was told the installers would be there Thursday morning and be done by the end of the day. When there 3:30pm came around and there was only one guy there and hardly anything had been done, I contacted Brad who said he would find out what is going on and call me back. As of 5pm I hadn't heard back so I texted Brad. Nothing. I called Brad and left him a voicemail. Nothing. Another text and again nothing. I called Prosource the next day and spoke to someone else who said he would personally deliver the message to Brad to call me back as it was urgent. Guess what? No response again. Instead of making it right, they just ignore all texts, phone calls, and voicemails. Not sure I've experienced customer service this bad before. I tried to bring this poor customer service experience to the attention of the store manager and he didn't even call me back. They just don't care. Stay away unless you enjoy living in nightmares.

2/2015 UPDATE: I would strongly recommend that if Kyle Hendricks Flooring is recommended as an installer, you politely request someone else. He installed the flooring I purchased at ProSource last June, neglected to have me purchase all the materials he needed to completely finish the floor. I ordered the materials and have been in contact with him numerous times over the last seven months. He has scheduled times to finish the trim on the floor, then doesn't show up. He does not provide an explanation and now is not even returning my calls. Because he had been highly recommended by both ProSource and KC Building Supply, I foolishly paid him in full before the floor was completely finished. The only thing ProSource has done to assist is to recommend another installer to finish the floor. Unfortunately I will have to pay twice to have the same work done. The other unfortunate issues is that I now have a couple of the wood floor strips shifting because the floor was not properly finished. Hopefully I will be able to get this fixed without too much expense. I worked with Heather at ProSource and can not say enough great things about her and the company. I took in a sample of my cabinets, described the look I wanted for the floor and she provided some great suggestions. After showing her one that kind of worked, she took me into the showroom and showed me a floor sample that worked perfect with my design. She was more than happy to answer any and all questions I had. The employees are very knowledgeable and the prices are comparable, and in some cases much better, than most other places I shopped, including some of the so called discount flooring centers. The only downside I can think of is to make sure your installer understands that the cost of returning any unused boxes of flooring is expensive so share this information and make sure they have the measurements correct. My installer ordered 3 boxes more than what I needed and the cost to return the excess flooring to the manufacturer was more than the retail cost of the flooring. ProSource also did not make this clear when I purchased the flooring.
Description of Work: I purchased engineered hardwood flooring from ProSource for my kitchen and breakfast room.
