Quote given for wood rot repair was fair and firm. Email and telephone communication was excellent. Painters showed up on time and worked continuosly and effiecently. They caulked every seem which were never caulked before even when house was new. I'm very happy with the quality of the painting. Would recommend them.

Very good painters.. cleaned up every night .. had many three story walls to prep and paint and they did a great job. We were very pleased with the work completed.

Painting Innovations was one of 3 painters I found through Angie's List who I asked to provide a quote. I also used a few not from Angie's list but found that the 3 from Angie's List were the most professional. Painting Innovations walked the house with me and went over everything in detail. I had some areas of dry rot with my siding and they addressed my concerns on how they would take care of it. Their quote was in the middle of the pack but I felt comfortable with them due to our discussions while walking around the house. Most of the others didn't make me feel that they would do a great job. There was another painter I would have gone with but their price was $2000 higher. Painting Innovations was my number two choice and the savings with them paid for my new gutters and upgraded leaf guard system. I was comfortable making the choice. It's like going with a Nice Toyota instead of the Lexus. Good quality but not all the bells and whistles. I did have to wait 3 months to get into their schedule but understood. Normally this means they are busy, good sign, and they use their own crews and don't sub out to meet demand. We were scheduled to start Sept 28th. I called them a few weeks before that and they said they could start 25th. They showed up on Friday 8 AM and started working right away. After the head guy showed up he left and the crew lead was on site working with his 5 man team. Only one person spoke a little English but I expected that when I hired them. They worked Friday and Saturday 8-5 with a one hour lunch break. Took Sunday off and finished up the job Monday afternoon. The finished job was great. I only had a few issues but I expected there would be and was not upset. Power washing. Most painters do it to get loose paint off. Not the best thing but they do it so I expected some issues. It did end up digging into a few panel sections that had softer wood on my siding. It didn't look that bad after the paint was on. The other thing was they taped all the doors, windows and garage doors shut....at the same time so we had to knock on the door and wait for one of the guys to hear us when my family and I wanted to get out of the house Saturday. I expected a few hiccups. No one really spoke English except the head guy who was there the first morning and the last afternoon. No big deal. They painters did a great job painting. They went back over the trim sections after the they took the tape off and touched everything up so the lines between the trim and house colors were smooth. I think it looks great and I would recommend them again because I expected a Nice job and they delivered.

Painting Innovations is one of the most professional contractors I've ever worked with. From scheduling me several months out and showing up on the exact date they said they would begin to the care and detail their crew took with the work, it was an awesome experience. Small details like storing their equipment well and shutting gates and doors behind them speak to their professionalism as well. The care these guys took with my house went above and beyond what I expected, and I would highly recommend them.

They worked around the dogs, left everything clean and picked up everything. Outstanding service. The foreman was here from start-to-finish on the job. They protected the property. The paint, a year later, is still looking good.

Painting Innovations did a wonderful job in painting our home. Since it had been a number of years since it was last painted, there were some trim boards that needed to be replaced. After inspecting our house, they provided a detailed estimate of both the wood repair and the painting estimates. The cost was reasonable, and it included $1400 in repair work that was required. We appreciated dealing with a firm that could both do the wood repairs and painting as well. Based on the reviews we had seen we decided to go with them. We did not regret that decision at all. Then came on schedule and immediately began work. I was concerned that perhaps they would use cheaper wood to replace the trim boards. I was happy to see that they were using new high grade rot and mildew resistent products to ensure it was done right. This theme carried through on all of their work. I felt as if they were taking the care they would take as if it was their own home to do things right. They removed all of our storm windows and began replacing damaged trim. All of the trim boards were individually calked prior to painting, and they did find a couple of window sill areas that needed to be replaced and were not easily seen when they did their initial walkthrough. They quickly assessed the addtional repair cost (which was reasonable) obtained our approval to proceed and they began repairs. My wife was planning to clean the storm windows before they were put back, but to her surprise the workers told her that they would be doing that and not to worry (it actually was in the estimate). I also found it interesting that they did not ask to put advertising yard signs out (which many firms do). At first I thought perhaps they forgot. When they were done I realized their work was advertising enough. The painting was meticulously done and we could not be happier with the result. When the job was completed, we did a walk around the house to inspect the work and the attention to detail was clear. This is not a "we only do painting" company...they do a thorough and professional job in reparing and preping the house as well as painting. It is clear that the ratings they have received were indeed well earned. Not only would I use them again, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get your home professionally painted at a reasonable price by people who know their business. I am a real perfectionist and this company succeeded in exceeding my expectations. I worked with David, one of the owners, and found him to be professional, personable and responsive throughout the entire experience. This was a large job that took about a week and a half. They both started and finished the job on schedule. David kept me apprised of the progress as it proceeded. I was not yet living in the house but visited it daily. David was on site daily and his crew was exceptionally conscientious. The quality of their work was nothing less than fantastic. The crew cheerfully worked long hours and did whatever it took to perform their work with the highest of quality while staying on schedule. This was part of a full house renovation and David sent one of his guys back after all of the other contractors had finished and the movers had come and gone. This final touch up work was meticulous. I had the stair rails and posts refinished in a very interesting metallic finish that David discovered for me after listening to me describe the look I wanted. Every single person who has come to the house since this has been finished has commented on how beautiful it is - even my brother who is oblivious to such things. I cannot say enough positive things about David and every member of his crew. I wish I had each of their names because they each deserve being commended for the work they did.

David went above and beyond to overcome unexpected challenges on our project. He brought in extra manpower at no extra charge to get the job done right. After the job was finished, he was not satisfied with the finish on 10 cabinet doors. He took the doors back to he shop and repainted them at no extra charge. They did a great job and I will hire them again for painting in the future.

Excellent. Good communication. On time. Painter was very friendly and did a great job. Price was reasonable. The only problem is they are so good they are booked way in advance (almost 3 months before we could schedule our work) so not really an option if you need the work done quickly. Otherwise I'd absolutely use them again.

They were professional, on time and very thorough. They took extra care to ensure your household items were completely covered and protected from getting paint on them. I would recommend them to anyone as well as use them again.

Three words...HIRE THESE GUYS!!!! We live in a 100+ year old house and when we knew the house was going to need painting we contacted Brad at Painting Innovations through Angie's List. We let him know, prior to scheduling an appointment, that wood rot would be an issue that would have to be addressed. He brought David from DC Home Remodeling, whom he sub-contracts with, to address such issues. Between all of us, we were able to formulate a plan for the project that would work!! We shared with them everything we expected and wanted for the project and voiced our concerns about unexpected overages that could result in a project of this magnitude. We were prepared to pay for the overages, but wanted to rest our minds about final costs. The estimate WAS our final costs. The first hurdle had passed...we were heard on our expectations and wants and the estimate was reasonable considering the scope of the project. Work started promptly on Monday, June 22nd at 8am with the arrival of Ramone, Claudio, David and Ed! On the first day, we could see significant changes! There were set backs with regard to the initial completion date because of the weather. There were 80 mile an hour wind shears that cut through our neighborhood that left our neighbors with lost electrical power and home damage from fallen trees, but our property was unscathed. Unexpectedly, everyone showed up the next day to continue the project. We are BEYOND PLEASED with the results and our reality exceeded our expectations! If I could post before and after pictures, I would! HIRE THESE GUYS! Excellent experience. They are responsive, respectful, professional, reliable. They started on time (despite one of the rainiest seasons on record in KC), they finished earlier than originally estimated, they came in exactly on estimated budget, and they stayed to make sure I was happy before they handed me an invoice. I was surprised and impressed that they did not require any up-front deposit or funding -- no payment due until all service was satisfactorily provided. I wish I had more projects to use them on!

William did a tremendous job. He was quick, but paid attention to all details. We are very, very pleased.

Everything about the work exceeded my expectations. Brad was very easy to communicate with prior to the job and answered all my questions promptly. Brad's crew arrived on time and worked hard all day long all three days of the job. They spent the first day of the job preparing the house for the paint and replaced a few boards that had dry rot. The second day the house was painted and the third day, the trim was painted and touch ups were done. After the crew was finished, Brad did a walk-through with me to make sure I was satisfied with the work. The work was professionally done, the price was fair, and the crew was meticulous. What more could I ask for?

The job went flawlessly -- my wife and I were tremendously impressed by the professionalism of the crew. Several days were spent carefully prepping our house...followed by discussions of optimal color palette for base and trim...and then onto painting. The attention to detail was superb. There was no mess. The crew was on-time and worked long hours to get the job done. And, at the end of the day, they were absolutely on-budget. My wife and I are not easily pleased, and expect excellence from contractors. Painting Innovations exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

I originally contacted Brad Bradshaw with Painting Innovations around March or April to get a quote for painting the house. He was able to come to our house within a few days to provide a quote. We felt the price was in line with what others would charge and included all the details (sealing cracks, nail holes, etc) we expected. Once we accepted the quote, he placed us on the schedule in order of confirmed jobs and said it would be probably May or June to do the job. A few weeks prior to painting, Brad contacted me to confirm a start date and continued to follow up to that date. Brad and two other painters showed up on time and worked for three days to complete the job. The workers were very efficient and thorough. We were amazed that they got the job done in 3 days! They cleaned up each day and made sure the backyard gates were closed at the completion of each day. We will definitely contact Brad at Painting Innovations in the future when we need further exterior and/or interior painting.

I purchased their package from Angie's list which included 2 paint colors for 1,800 sq. ft.in early April. The owner Brad contacted me immediately and came out to look at our home within a few days. He initially told me they were scheduling for June, but when I told him we were wanting to list our house for sale by June 1, he set us up for May 26. It rained almost every day in May and I thought there would be no way they could be on schedule. But to my surprise they were! A crew of 2 came on the morning of the 26th, power washed, caulked everything and began priming. The next day by 4 pm, they had painted everything. They were so professional, conscientious and patient with us interrupting them all the time. Their work was perfection! Our neighbors across the street hired a different company to do their house, which was completed a few days before ours. Their roof looked like it had snowed, there was so much overspray. We had none. I don't know who they hired or what they paid, but they should have hired Painting Innovations!

We hired Painting Innovations to paint much of the interior of our house after they had done a spectacular job on the exterior a year before. The crew was timely in showing up everyday and were very polite. Owner arrived on site to monitor progress and review job, and was very communicative/accessible via email and phone. We had an island that needed special attention, and I was impressed with the time and options that both owners offered and discussed with us. They were very knowledgeable and transparent on their technique, paint choice, price and helpfulness on different areas of the house. I would hire them again without reservation, and i have since recommended this business to several others.

We got bids from 3 contractors and this bid was by far the lowest. We wanted a quick makeover of the downstairs of the condo prior to selling. Brad was responsive to all my questions and managed to schedule the painting earlier than originally planned which was a big plus. The end result was great and done in 2 days compared to other bids that said they would take 4 or 5 days. You ask whether due to the price and quickness that the quality was less - well it wasn't! They actually did more than what was asked at no additional cost. I would certainly hire them again.

Excellent service! David and his crew were great. They went way beyond our expectations. Our house is beautiful and he was very patient with us. Talk to him about painting fireplaces! Ours came out amazing. I would recommend to anyone!!!

It was fantastic. They were very quick. They worked very fast, quick, clean, and cleaned up after themselves. It looks to be of good quality. I would recommend them.

They were responsive from the very beginning. Pricing was competitive and it was clear that he was customer centric. His team showed up everyday on time and worked hard all day. They started and finished as scheduled and it was a chore since we were painting the entire house. The work was thorough and the level of quality was what we wanted. We had them back afterwards to touch up our woodwork (after new carpet was installed).
