They were good at what they did. They have closed their business and moved to Florida. I don't know what they charge for snow, because my son paid for it. I liked that they were flexible and did whatever I asked. If I wanted them to go in with a weed eater an cut the weeds in the garden, they would do that. They weren't always on time with the spraying and the fertilizer. They were a little behind on that. They were fine and always answered the phone. They always responded. Generally, it was OK, sometimes they would have someone else come out and would fuss about that and they would come out. It was a great relationship, but they are gone now. The company still exist, it has a different owner now.

I had a list and they knocked it out. Checking with me all along the way. They take direction and get it done Spread top soil around foundation, spread some gravel, plNted flowers in multiple pots, spread a bunch of mulch, changed outdoor light bulbs, trimmed some trees/bushes. Cut up and hauled off branch and blew off patio and driveway.

Contacted the owner in April, and they were supposed to come out to my house, and weed beds, straight edge with a shovel, and put down mulch in 2 weeks. It is a large yard, with many perennials, and shrubs.. I told the owner, I wanted a professional company, no kids, and who know the difference between a weed, and a flower, and he assured me he would have a 3 man team, with his personal supervision, and it would take two days. Two weeks later, some young guys were dropped off, they looked to be high school age, and then an older man who came one afternoon, who said he was helping out in the afternoons, but was a painter by trade. He told me he had accidently pulled out a spirea, and some of my perennials ( 3 yr old specimens) on the street side. He said he was sorry, and he had thrown them in the neighbors yard. I went and found a part of it, so I could hopefully save it. Yesterday, the kids that were dropped off were putting the mulch directly on the weeds, and had pulled my really nice stand of japanese anemones, several poppy mallows, and specialty yarrows which I found out after they had left. This is especially upsetting to me because I have spent 30 years working on this yard, and order plants from unusual sources, which are sometimes difficult to acquire again, and not locally available. Hardly any edging was done, and what mulch was done, is put directly over the weeds. 6 days later what mulch and edging done, is extremely sloppy. I have a privacy gate, and cannot leave it perpetually open for them to drop off kids in between mowing jobs, due to a blind and deaf dog, a lab, and a puppy, and I live on a very busy street. I am done with this "professional" company, the kids that came said they mostly did mowing, and landscaping, is NOT their specialty. It was very obvious they did not know what to do, and what was a plant or a weed. I specifically told the owner, I needed to know it would be professionals, who knew how to do edging, and mulching, and I would do it myself, but I did not have the time, and he reassured me he would be there, and they were pros. You will see they have had this same problem before, read other reviews. I wish I had. They are now selling this company to someone else, and I can see why. This is a company who mows, not landscapes, because they do not know the difference between weeds, and flowers.

They did not weed the Vinca garden to my satisfaction; spent their time looking while I was on my hands and knees pulling weeds. They brought in 2 college or high school students to do the work. When the guy that supervises them left, they did not know what to do. When I asked them to do things, they wouldn't do it because that "wasn't what he told them to do". The ground cloth was not cut to fit area completely nor fastened down securely nor overlapped which caused it to come up later. I had to have someone else come and do the task correctly later. Spent time talking to my neighbor; gave my neighbor some of my supplies. Felt like I was working harder than they were and I just wanted them to leave.

Things started well. RJ explained that standard spring service is weekly and around July, he would switch to a bi-weekly service, as not to over charge us. That switch did not happen, but intermittent service did. Skipping weeks and shifting days did not bother me, until July when my bill was incorrect the first time. I communicated over email, and resolved the issue. The next month, August, the mowing service was 4 out of 5 weeks with shifting days, making it difficult to document when they were mowing, but because of the billing issues, documentation was necessary. In September, it was twice for the month. The first time the service was out in October was on 10/16. That was 3 and half weeks from the previous time, and my October bill claimed they where out for 3 weeks straight on 10/16, 10/24, & 10/30. After sending another email about another billing issue, I was told that my documentation and understanding of the situation was wrong, and it was up to me to sort it out. I will pay and cancel, because I have already invested too much time. Please save yourself the trouble. I can't express how disappointed I am with this service. It started so well but has turned to distrust. I do not recommend Overland Park Choppers.

The leaves were properly shredded, but the effect of the remaining debris was messy!

I purchased this as one of the deals. They called to say they'd be running late as they are just finishing a job. After getting here they told me due to sunlight they may night be able to give me the full time i was quoted as it may turn dark before. After being here 3 hours instead of the 4 hours (the deal was for 4 hours work) the gentlemen they said couldn't do any more as they had no sun but they wanted to get me in today. In the morning I went out to notice the leaves had been cleared nicely and the flower bed cleaned. I also noticed some of the ornamantal grasses were trimmed extremely low with some leaves and debri in them. A couple were not upright but seemed to split in the center. When spring came After a few rains those cut quite low are almost non exisstant as any run off of soil seems to try to try to flatten the grasses .

I'm not sure about the cost of the snow service as my son contracted with them as a gift for us. He did mention it was a lot more expensive than the mowing. They have been very responsive to special requests. I rated them a B overall on price. The charge for mowing is great, but I think I could possibly find cheaper rates on some of their other services. I wanted to find a provider who could and would do exactly what I want for my yard--the things we once did ourselves and do it my way. The Overland Park Choppers have met that goal better than any other service I have tried.

It was so so. I think that the owner is conscientious and does a good job but the people he had working for him were not good at all. They didn't do a good job. They were supposed to trim and do some leaf removal and they did a sloppy job. I don't think they worked the number of hours that they were supposed to so I was frustrated because I paid upfront and didn't get the quality of work that I wanted. The owner did come out and mowed the backyard and had them clean up a little bit.

I called regarding leaf removal and they said they would be by to give us an estimate, but never showed up.

.He did an outstanding job!!! It took 5 hours and only charged $125 I used another company last year that did a lousy job.

The service provided was great. I'm even thinking about giving them a call soon. I tried to get them to come out in December and never heard back. But once they did come out in March to finally do it, the work was good. I even told the guy about the situation, I think he came out and did the work twice. I think they did something to make up. They were very professional except for not getting back to me.

they did a great job and even blew off some clogged leaves. Brett and crew were great. I switched to op choppers because the ok'd company would not change the bulbs from c-9 translucence to ceramic ones which we like much better as they have that old fashioned look.

They did a nice job. We were pleased with the work and the price was right.

My back yard is one of the larger ones in the subdivision I live in and it had gotten out of control. I tried to mow it myself, but my riding mower was not up to the task. I called Overland Park Choppers and they sent someone out to tame the back yard. I was pleased with the work and hired them to come every other week and mow my yard. So far they have arrived on time and performed their task quite well. I am pleased with the service and will continue to use them going forward.

it went very well, the team was focused on their work, did even more than we expected and were still done before their four hours. If we had identified any other work for them, they would have done it as well. I was very satisfied.

It turned out very well. They did a very good job and they seemed pretty reasonable. They came when they said they would and they got right back to me. They did everything that I asked them to do and also cleaned up the mess afterwards. They are the best that I have had; I would recommend them.

They arrived on time and with 2 hard workers did a fantastic job of removing old bushes and mulching and some leaf removal.

My experience overall went very well. The staff is very friendly and professional.

they worked until they filled up their truck. They then left even through their time was not used because the deal only covered i truck load of debris.

Overland Park Choppers arrived a little early, were very professional and finished work early. I was very pleased with their services.

they cleaned up a lot of yard debris and overgrown plants, checked the pond pump and returned a couple of weeks later to replace the pump - I had been looking for some one to do that repair and they were very reasonable.

I would definitely highly recommend them. They were phenomenal. I chose them because they had a special with Angie's List and my husband was in a car accident. They did what they said they were going to do. They kept their word and they did a great job. They were great. They were very reasonable and because of that I was willing to give them more business. I would absolutely use them again.
