Description of Work: I just went to nuts and bolts to get some hardware for a couple of doors and cabinets. They helped and were great to work with. |I heard they were closing this store. They will be missed. I do a lot of business with true value at 151st. my wife can leave work, go down the street and pick it up on her way home.

Description of Work: Charged $75 to repair lawnmower. Got it home and it wouldn't run. Took it back and they worked on it again. Got it home and it still wouldn't start. After 6 round trips and $75.00, had it hauled away. It was a premium model Honda.

Description of Work: I used the Nuts and Bolts on 95 and Nall. When I dropped off the mower there was a two week turn around. The work they did on the mower was superb. Price was very reasonable and I will definitely use them again. | | The reason I am hitting them with a lower rating on Punctuality and professionalism is because they didn't contact me when the work was finished.

+ -1 moreLater I found that one of the batteries would not recharge. I spoke to the manager and since he did not stock batteries for the unit he gave me a new replacement drill complete with two battery packs.. no charge.. I also purchased a lawn mower there last summer and have had no problems with it. My only quibble is the usual... so much of what they sell is made in China. The lawn mower was a happy exception.

+ -1 morePower cable broke on push mower. Quotes from several mower shops included $70/hr labor + parts and could take up to 3 weeks to complete repair. Taking a chance, called local Nuts N Bolts. Yes they work on lawn mowers. Part(s) were ordered 1st business day of the week. Mower was ready for pickup on Wed. Parts were same price as lawn mower shops. Labor was about 1/2 as much. Oh, and when I went to use the mower after it was returned, discovered they had filled the gas tank !Reasonable rates, fast response, accurate quote prior to starting job, and a local business.
Description of Work: Power and clutch cables replaced on Toro self propelled mower.
