Nathan's Irrigation and Landscape

I should have check Nathan?s reviews before hiring him. I needed a French Drain installed. Nathan said it was no problem and could do all the work for $1900. He wanted money up front. On June 15th I paid him $1000. He laid the pipe and covered it with soil. On June 25th he wanted another $400 to pick up the river rock. He never came back. It is now October 19th and he is a no show. I got ripped off. I hired another landscaping company to do the job. They dug up the pipe that Nathan laid. There was no soil-sock on the corrugated pipe and virtually no gravel. The pipe had already started to fill full of mud. It would not have worked at all even if he had finished the project. The new landscaper said that the prior contractor had no clue what they were doing. I would not hire Nathan for any job. Even if you pay after the job is done, it won?t be done correctly.

He came around last November about doing an irrigation system. He kept low balling the price. He installed the controller in the garage and he wanted money up front. He installed the main line and wanted money up front. He installed irrigation heads and wanted more money up front. Now he has no incentive to come back. He's only about maybe a total of 40% complete. I should've never paid him in full until the job was complete. He has a very bad review from the BBB as well. I would not recommend him to anyone. I think he is just a con-artist and this is how he gets money up front.
